Was our 3rd time staying here and we have loved it every time.

The James-Cecil home was an amazing choice for my Family. My family and I had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, The home was spotless, just like the pictures from the Air B&B website. The home was beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy which lead to an amazing night sleep being away from home. What the James and Cecil group didn’t say was how amazing the view at night overlooking Washington DC was breathtaking from the house. The James and Cecil Group went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I recommend the James and Cecil home to anyone looking to create beautiful memories with your family. I would like to say this experience was a 10/10.

We stayed at the property and were blown away by the location, size of the bedrooms, and accommodations. The outdoor terrace is a bonus. If you have a group of friends or a family needing a good location, close to everything, great restaurants, transportation, and a vibrant area. We were a group of six, everyone felt right at home the moment we walked into the house. The house is awesome. I've stayed in other rental properties, this one will be my go-to when I'm in town. We had to change our stay a couple of times before coming, the host was extremely accommodating. This is a major plus when you can get in touch with the host, and they are reasonable and understand that sometimes things happen.

Incredible spot, fantastic host. Highly recommend, the location is close to so many great spots for food/drinks. David was wonderful, responsive to questions and had some really good recommendations for our group. Highly recommend!

Rita's place is a terrific location, in the charming Capitol Hill neighborhood with historic buildings but also super close to the Eastern Market metro station, Trader Joe's, and top notch restaurants and cafes. All these were 5 to 10 minutes away walking. The metro made it easy for us to get to the Mall and various museums and other neighborhoods, 15-25 minutes away by metro train. The neighborhood is quiet at night, and the house itself has been nicely renovated. We used the well-stocked kitchen every morning for breakfast before heading out for the day. Know that the house is old, so floors creak and rooms are small and staircase is narrow, but that's part of the charm. Rita was extremely responsive for small things that we needed. We really enjoyed our stay (four adults and two kids) and visiting D.C. Thank you Rita!

Jonathan was very responsive before and during the stay. The home had plenty of space for our group and was within walking distance to lots of attractions.

The carriage house is even more lovely in person! It’s the perfect blend of original details and charm - wood beams, paned windows and exposed brick - and modern, functional updates - new, clean bathrooms & kitchen, AC, etc. It also felt spacious and well appointed. Both queen bedrooms were lovely, and the sunny, airy living room has curtains and includes a RH sofa that easily pulled out into a bed for our other son. Perfection! Thank you

Great stay overall! Good fit for young adults that plan to be out and about but want something cozy and clean to come back to. She was very communicative and understanding. Her offering parking is a game changer in the city!

John was awesome to meet and as a host; provided clear instructions towards the Airbnb, gave us recommendations for restaurants, locals tourist attractions, and transportation. Very kind and communicative. Place looked exactly like the pictures as well!

We had a wonderful stay. The home is in a neighborhood that’s full of character and so peaceful. The bed was comfortable and I really appreciated the coffee provided and a hot shower. The studio felt very private, clean and welcoming, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. Highly recommend.

This was our 2nd stay here...a wonderful home base when visiting DC! Colorful, cozy, sparkling clean & spacious...we enjoy comfortably relaxing in a convenient city location.
