Last minute booking for a soccer tournament weekend. We loved the apartment...felt very homey...2 floors with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spacious and great views and amazing location...right above the most popular restaurant in town We walked out and about and ate many meals at the local restaurants and enjoyed them all! Great little town for a weekend stay...loved the ease of parking across street and the ability to walk around the little town and enjoy things and walk our dog. Gets a bit noisy at night but, they have now provided white noise machines in the 2 bedrooms on bottom floor which helped tons and we brought one for the top floor...but, it's alot less noisy up there. Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The host was very kind and responsive and we loved the view from the backyard.

Very charming and tasteful renovations. The house was spacious, clean and cozy. Had an issue getting into the house due to the lock, but the host was quick to respond and was able to let us in within minutes of notification. So thankful for the excellent communication and customer service. Will definitely stay here again!

Madelyn's offering was all we needed for a one-night stay. As she listed, you have to walk through the adjoining bedroom for bathroom access which could be a problem. We slept in separate bedrooms since I snore, but walking through the bedroom for my wife of 54 years wasn't an issue. The interior was spotless, and all the beds were VERY comfortable. The reason for a four-star rating on the neighborhood was only because it's an up and coming area of Petersburg, Virginia. Some of the adjoining houses were in the renovation phase, so we were a little surprised when we turned onto the street. However, our stay was great with a quiet night.

Aaron was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with from day one. He responded very quickly to questions. The accommodations were very comfortable. I look forward to staying there again.

Once again we had a delightful stay at our VA happy place. Such beautiful surroundings and a charming house. Ann and Jim are wonderful hosts, Everytime we've been blessed to visit. If you're looking for a lovely place, on the lake, with exceptional accommodations and hosts, this is your place!

We had an amazing long weekend with both our dogs! It was our first vacation with them both and this cain did not disappoint. We truly had R&R and we are planning our next trip very soon!! oh! and the wildlife is so fun! from the herons, fish and turtles to the lovely donkey 🤣.

Ashley was amazing! When I told some issues she came and looked into it and fixed it ASAP. (Issue was very minor). The layout was great, sofas comfortable enough that you could sleep on them! Backyard was great for my two large dogs! Ashley was great! This is a perfect place for temporary housing or for like me for in between houses where I sold and had to wait a couple weeks until I could get into my new place!
