This was our 2nd trip to Fortsville. It is a marvelous location surrounded by rolling hay fields. It has been very clean. Absolutely trying to make this a yearly destination.

My husband, dog and I enjoyed our stay here! Cozy living room, kitchen stocked with usual wares, comfortable beds, nice fenced in backyard for our pup. Street parking always available right in front of and beside the house. We felt very safe and had no issues.

Fished a tournament out of Osbourne Landing which is 10 minutes from Janet's place. The place was perfect for 3 guys with boats. The place was clean, and Janet was very good to communicate with. Will stay again if we come back to fish.

Home was quiet and tucked away from commercial areas, but close enough to all amenities! Alex was helpful and always very quick to respond. Great spot overall!

It was a pleasure to stay at the cottage! From the kind extras like breakfast treats in the fridge to the fresh tulips, it was a lovely experience. The screened in porch was fabulous with the warm spring days. The furniture was comfortable and inviting to sit and stay a while. I’d love to return again!

My guys and I had a great stay in New Kent. It was odd being in a place that was representative of 150 years of history kept mostly in its antique form. That is, except for the kitchen which was modern underneath a classic look. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. I had a couple concerns when we checked in, but Adam responded and resolved everything quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away with a history niche.

We had an amazing time at the cabin! The lakeside view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the serene water and watching the sunset was a highlight of our trip. The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether we were soaking in the hot tub, unwinding by the firepit, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect escape. The host Eric was fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond, and made everything so easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and rejuvenating retreat.

Stayed here with a small group of friends to attend a concert. The place is spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The back patio was also spacious and nice. Despite being centrally located and close to everything, it wasn't noisy and disruptive outside. Very walkable to just about everything including the bus system that goes east/west on Broad which is very convenient. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at Nadine's place! Great location that is walkable to a lot of local things to do. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The apartment was exactly as described and was quiet and peaceful. Loved having the snacks on hand. It was a great place to stay for a weekend. Nadine was super responsive, and even messaged me when she found my phone charger that I had left when we checked out! Highly recommend staying here - we'll be doing the same next time we're in town.

Great find. close to everything. Even tho my work trip got cut short this was a good place to stay while in the area.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

We love Church Hill, and Christine and Derk’s place was perfect for us for the weekend. They were very thoughtful, from having milk and creamer in the fridge, to leaving us a personalized welcome card that was incredibly sweet. Their home had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful space with lots of character, and in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Johnny's place for a month while I was relocating to Richmond, and it was exactly what I needed. It was a great location, especially since the commute to downtown was so easy. As an extended stay, he provided all of the amenities I needed and was very responsive whenever I needed anything. I highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay! We were in town for a wedding and I was in a great location. Matt was very responsive to us and extremely communicative!

This place was WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, quiet, organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed for my husband and I to enjoy staying there in order to visit my extended family in Richmond. I was born and raised there but my left at age 23 though the rest of my family stayed in Richmond. The location at the airbnb was within walking distance of EVERYTHING!!! I would love to stay here from now on any time I am visiting family there....or even just to visit the VMFA as well as other places!
