Great family house near the museums. I like that it was away from the hubbub but easy enough to walk downtown (15 min walk). The place is very much lived in and not a sterile management-run Airbnb. I would describe the furnishings/decor as shabby-chic and comfortable. The kitchen is great. There were 2 sweet cats that lived there with us and required very little care. It had everything we needed that wasn’t quite listed- washer, dryer, heating, 2 full bathrooms/one half, dishwasher, separate freezer, hairdryer. I have no hesitations recommending this place.

Wonderful time in Amsterdam. Onno was helpful and available; the home was beautiful, comfortable, and easy to navigate. Close to everything. Had a fantastic time and would return. Thank you, Onno!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Stay on the Water! Staying at this river Airbnb in Amsterdam was hands down one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences of my travels. The location is beyond dreamy — right on the water, with stunning views of the canal life drifting by. Waking up to the gentle ripple of the river and sipping coffee on the deck felt like something out of a movie. ✨ The interior was cozy, stylish, and spotless — you can tell the hosts put a lot of love into making the space warm and welcoming. Every little detail, from the plush bedding to the curated local decor, made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were absolute gems — super communicative, thoughtful, and even left us a welcome gift with local treats . They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and explore, and made check-in a breeze. Being gently rocked to sleep on the river, then waking up to swans gliding past the window… I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Amsterdam

Beautiful canal home on along the Amstel River. It was a great base for a week of exploring Amsterdam. Private, cozy, yet spacious; spread over 4 levels connected by short staircases. Lots of art and interesting decor. Private garden out back; comfy tv room on top level. We enjoyed sitting at the table by the window overlooking the river in the morning and early evening. The kitchen had pretty much everything you'd need for meal prep, and was part of a great room for dining and watching tv. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and WCs were spacious and clean. So nice to stay in someone's real home with character and feel a part of the neighborhood. Would gladly return if we are back in Amsterdam!

The house is cosy and extremely well located. Perfect for kids. Host is very nice and flexible. Everything was perfect -- including the weather, which is rare in the Netherlands. If the house is available, this is my place to go in Amsterdam.

Birgit was a fantastic host! Her home was perfect for our quick trip to Amsterdam. It is located close to public transportation (less then 10 minutes to Centraal Station) and a grocery story is around the corner. Birgit showed us around her place and explained how to use different features of the house. She helped map out the easiest routes around the city for us. She was always available and super friendly. We had a great time and cannot wait to visit again.

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Wonderful week long stay in this beautiful ground floor apartment. Was perfect for our family of three. The location could not be better as it is within easy walking distance to the museums (Rijks, Van Gogh, Moco, Stedelijk), outdoor market, bars and restaurants. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Awesome location, comfortable bed. Hosts enjoy taking care of their place and guests. The check-in was in person and no self check-in option available but hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.

Alexander was very responsive before and throughout our stay in the studio apartment. Great location. He was very accommodating with his check-in and check-out. He and his wife gave a special little gift of cookies for my daughter who was celebrating a birthday trip. I highly recommend this place and Alexander as a host.

We had a lovely stay at Tijmen's spacious home which is ideally located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, yet still just a short walk to the museum campus, Vondelpark and several other sites. Tijmen was a wonderful host who provided very clear instructions and guidance on restaurants and sites in the area. The flat was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed relaxing with wine and snacks in the sun on the rooftop deck. Like most flats in Amsterdam, you need to climb stairs to get to the flat (and the deck), but it is well worth it!

Our host provided clear, precise check in instructions and directions to the apartment using public transportation. Good location, walkable to many restaurants, nearby grocery and outdoor market. We enjoyed evenings on the balcony over looking the canal at sunset. We look forward to returning to Amsterdam and would stay here again.

What a great stay! I had a last minute opportunity to head to Amsterdam to join my parents on vacation…their hotel was sold out, so I was on my own. I found this gem about a mile from City Center, super accessible by foot or tram to everything! Thank goodness Jorrit was there to greet me and help with my heavy suitcase…the stairs (2 flights) were SUPER narrow on the treads (seems to be the case everywhere in the city) and about as wide as my suitcase. But once upstairs, the place was exactly as described…plus a lovely welcome basket with Dutch treats! I was prepared for no AC, but there was a recent heatwave so it was hottt. But it cooled down and was beeezy with the windows open and fans on. Very safe neighborhood, and even a pub within 100 steps (but not noisy or rowdy). The kitchen was well stocked, so I saved on things like salt and pepper and EVOO and basics. Jorrit gave lots of GREAT recs on where to go & what to do. A super stay and I’d definitely rent here again! Thanks!

We had a lovely family holiday for 3 nights. The property has been beautifully done up and was extremely well resourced with all catering equipment. There were lots of different areas to relax in and we particularly enjoyed all the outdoor seating areas as we were lucky to mostly have good weather. The tennis court is great (though could be difficult to retrieve balls that went over the walls/hedges). Murielle gave us some helpful tips for local places to explore.

Frank is an outstanding host. He provided fantastic and detailed information upfront. The check-in was smooth, and we were provided with local snacks, and Frank set us up with breakfast for our first morning in Amsterdam. This made it very comfortable after a long trip. Whenever we had a question, Frank replied within minutes. We all had a great and relaxing stay. Our kids often asked us if we could stay inside the house rather than going on day trips. That's how much they enjoyed the place and the cute little garden where they could play with water (you have to watch out for tiny kids that can't swim though). In short, it was fun, and we had a good time.

Nous avons séjourné chez Boon en famille (2 adultes et 3 adolescents) pour visiter le Parc de Keukenhof et Amsterdam. Le Logement est mignon, dans un petit havre de paix, loin du bruit et de la foule.... C était parfait pour nos 3 jours aux Pays-Bas ! Boon a été réactif lors de nos demandes et aimable dans nos échanges. Nous recommandons cet hote.

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautiful, clean, relaxing and extremely convenient to get around town via bus/metro. We walked every morning around town because the town is extremely charming with several restaurants and a market 2 blocks away. I made breakfast every morning in the beautiful kitchen which had everything one would need. The host was so incredibly amazing, he tracked my flight and knew I would be arriving hours before I told him I would be so he was waiting for us which was amazing after a long flight. He was so sweet, courteous and caring. We were greeted with a warm welcome and many, many treats for us in the refrigerator. From eggs, milk, selection of fresh breads, sweets, fruit, wine, a delicious pear juice, selection of deli meats, butter, and many more items. The warmest welcome we’ve ever received. As if that’s not enough, the AC worked great! The pics don’t do it justice. This is a must stay! Thank you so much for everything!!
