The place offered incredibly peaceful stay. The host and the caretaker were genuinely friendly and responsive. There are grocers nearby to source produce for you to cook. If you want ready made food, tasty and homemade food is available on demand.

Had a Wonderul stay with charming view of mountains covered with snow and River, I loved the sound of the river flowing it was so peaceful, They had very easy access to the Rover, Best option to stay far away from Crowded places , Place was located nearby to all the Tourists Attractions, Everything was there at home which was mentioned by Nidhi. We had late checkin there was no problem with that, and late checkout Thanks to there team for making this stay amazing If i ever come back,Definitely i will choose this apartment.

nice isolated property.. the rooms are big and well ventilated. washrooms are clean.. the care takers are very helpful ... overall experience was good... highly recommended 🙂🙂

We had a lovely stay at this very pretty and aesthetically pleasing home. The place has three cozy rooms, each with its own charm. We did bump our heads a few too many times (XD), but honestly, that was just part of the experience and didn’t take away from how welcoming the space felt. Arjun is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host, super accommodating and flexible with a few changes we had to make. Even though we were only there properly for about two and a half days, it truly felt like coming home every evening. It’s a great deal, and the warmth of the house (and of Arjun!) really made our trip special. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place to stay with family or friends. Serene Sorrounding, on one side its mountains with snow and on the other side it's green fields. Well equipped with Good Speaker, Games, Books, Playing Chips and Bonfire Lovely Indian food and Barbeque. Please do plan and inform the requirements before hand itself, as it's cooked fresh. Also, there can be delay in prepartion of food. Above all, credit goes to Mashal and Sanjay, for making our stay as homely as possible.

We had awesome 2 night's stay at Sonali's place - Studio Indique. It's a very spacious studio apartment for 3 people and a huge bathroom. Nice little kitchen in the corner of the apartment to cook or heat. Spacious dining and living space, albeit it's studio apartment. It also has high-speed Internet and nice garden outside to chill out. No TV in the apartment to spend good family time, and we were very happy about it. There are grocery stores and cafes just outside the home stay. So, you can cook your essentials or try culinary skills. Sonali also suggested us few good restaurants around Dharamshala - Sakura (Japanese) and Mcloed Ganj - Hot Yak (Chinese and Tibetan), where we had lip smacking foods. I also celebrated my Wife's birthday at Sonali's place with a delicious cake from nearby cake shop and red wine to make it special. Also, my daughter had medical emergency at the midnight, and Sonali helped us with the hospital details and guided us until she recovered. Thaks Sonali :-)

We loved our stay in Karuna retreat for 5 days. The place has warm and cozy vibes. The kids loved the media room in the attic. It was a different experience for them. Since we were traveling by our own vehicle, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm and peaceful neighbourhood of Rakkad and the hustle and bustle of Mcleod ganj. Traveling to the Main Square of Mcleodganj took 30 mins. Karuna Retreat is very close to Norbulingka Institute which was a great place to sit and just enjoy some peaceful moments. Star and constellations gazing was our favourite thing to do on the terrace of our beautiful homestay. There were nice home run cafes nearby. A grocery shop was just round the corner. We loved the location. Our host Tenzin was an easy and proactive person to talk to, though we never needed anything as everything was just fine. We loved the collection of books there too. We really hope to come back soon and stay for a longer period of time.

We had a great stay at Sanjiv's property during the India v England Test match. It was in an ideal location, 30 minutes walk from the stadium and with a open rooftop giving stunning views of the mountains and over Dharamshala - definitely pop up there around sunset! Sanjiv was a most friendly and responsive host (who speaks good English) and helped organise travel for me to go trekking at short notice when the cricket finished early. One minor point to be aware of - the GPS location pin on AirBnb wasn't accurate so I took a while to find the house. It's up a lane that leaves the main road to the right of Hotel Sajan / opposite 7 To 9 Needs.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb nestled in the mountains, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and ensured that every detail was taken care of. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views. The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The decor was charming and added to the overall warm and inviting atmosphere. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. They provided us with local tips and recommendations, which made our trip even more enjoyable. I would like to mention about Mishro Didi who truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, she was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. She was always cheerful and approachable, making us feel comfortable and well-cared for. It was clear that she took great pride in her work, and her efforts did not go unnoticed. We can’t wait to return!

This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

The best part of our stay was that we were treated as family members. It was one of the memorable stays that we had. We were looked after very well by Aunty and Uncle. We were timely assisted by Shubham whenever we required anything.

We were looking for a place away from busy Dharamsala that we could use as a base to explore the area and Ajit’s home fitted the bill perfectly. Located in Naddi, it is about 500m above Dharamsala and cooler. Accessing Dharamsala and McLeodganj was a breeze - if you have your own vehicle then no problem, else there are autos and taxis that ply from Dal Lake, which is an attraction close to Naddi.  The home itself is very nice. Very clean and neat and very thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction stove, gas, refrigerator, water filter, utility vessels and some common grocery items needed for cooking. The view from the unit is amazing - it looks out onto some village homes in the distance on top of a hill with terraced fields in between and the show capped Dhauladhar peaks in the horizon. The unit is located in the second floor - accessed by 2 flights of stairs. So, if you have seniors in your contingent or someone with mobility issues, it is something to watch out for.  Ajit’s family - himself, wife and 2 young boys were amazing and most helpful with some our specific needs. Since Ajit has grown up in the Naddi area, he knows the place inside out and is happy to guide and help out.  Connectivity was one of the best we have had in Himachal - Vodafone works great and so does Jio. All in all - great value for money for your stay in the Dharamsala area - we would come back to stay - for the place, for the view, for the convenience and of course, Ajit and family - amazing folks!

This apartment hosted by Sonam and Tseten was indeed a Haven. We booked this property for our first day at Dharamshala, it's located outside the main city in a quiet corner near Norbulingka Institute, Sidhpur. When we were on our way, we were tired and honestly had no expectations but Tseten gave us a warm welcome and privacy. The property is not exactly as shown in the pictures but much better. Sonam and Tseten, have achieved providing a home to the people visiting away from their own. They have taken care of literally any and everything a person travelling might need during their stay. 1. The apartment had a well functioning WiFi, refrigerator, iron and television. 2. The cleanliness was spot on. 3. To provide privacy to guests they had created a sort of partition and covers in the balcony, which is a very aesthetically pleasing part to enjoy tea. 4. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, necessary spices, toaster, kettle etc. if you want to prepare your own tea or food. 5. The

We had a great time staying at Ahmiyat. It's a beautiful property with a farm and mountain view. We enjoyed cooking and eating together during our stay here, as it felt like a calming activity. Anshuman is a generous host, who helped us navigate to the correct property location, and nearby taxi service contacts. Kushal, the caretaker of the property, was also very helpful and prompt in providing us suggestions for travelling in and around Dharamshala, ensuring our stay here to be comfortable. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I'd recommend this property if you like serenity, and want to stay in a pretty property located slightly away from the town traffic.✨

Our stay was wonderful, and Arjun made it even better. The place was spacious, with beautiful interiors that felt warm and inviting—more like staying at a friend’s home than just a rental. It was also in a super convenient location, which made getting around really easy. Arjun was incredibly helpful and kind. For example, when we asked about nearby restaurants, he shared his personal favorite and even told us what to order. It’s rare to find that level of thoughtfulness. I’d absolutely recommend staying here. Everything about it was top-notch!

A Serene Haven in Dharamsala I recently stayed at Dunny Cottage, and it was an absolute dream! The property is beautifully maintained, with cozy interiors that feel like a home away from home. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The host was proactive right from my queries about the place, all the way to contacting me when I had left behind something of value after checking out. I had a near perfect stay here, there were no hiccups or hidden fees. Cordial and upfront. The caretaker took interest in our visit and itinerary, while helping us get a scooty for travel around Mcleodganj. I personally loved the layout and the aesthetics of the place. Had a rustic, yet modern vibe to it. The path to the location is a little steep, but that's a given since it is located in a mountain range. Had fun and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering a visit!

Shalini’s place matches exactly as illustrated through photos. The view of Dhauladhar range from the balcony is awesome. It’s located 10 mins from Dharamshala market and 30 mins from Mcleodganj square. I would recommend to stay in this area rather than Dharmshala or Mcelodganj as it’s more peaceful and serene with a stream just across the road. The kitchen is well equipped, though a microwave would have been a nice addition to help warm food. Each of the rooms have heaters which helped keep us warm during the initial rainy nights. The local spots recommended by Shalini were worth a visit. The only downside, as already stated in description, is that the apartment is on 3rd floor so not the best choice if you have elderly people with you. But for the views anyways residing on higher floor is recommended. We travelled with our 3 year old daughter and it was fine. Look forward to staying at her place in my visits to come.

This is one of the most beautiful & professionally managed home stays I have been to. - The location is really peaceful and scenic - In fact the room and amenities exceeded expectations - Himanshu was very proactive in his correspondence & professional in his management of the place - Would highly recommend this place
