Stayed here two years in a row for OU mom’s weekend! Perfect space for kids to hang in basement, while moms can sleep in bedrooms. Outdoor space looks so inviting, but it’s been too cold for us to enjoy it. If you’re looking for a place to host your daughter & her friends- this is it!! It’s not on campus, but that’s also what our girls wanted- to get away! Just a short drive to campus (15 min) though if needed!

Nina’s place was perfect for our visit - comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. She was proactive in sending information and flexible since my party needed a later check-out. Would stay again and would recommend!

Beautiful place, updated, very clean and had EVERYTHING we could need. Xtra towels, sheets, pillows, washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets. shampoo and body wash. The kitchen was like being at home, with everything you would need to cook a full meal. Would recommend to anybody staying in this area.

This was a great spot! It’s not too far from restaurants and stores. We felt safe and it was a quiet area. We felt secluded even though there are two other cabins close by. The cabin was really clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Gd was super responsive and friendly. We felt like Gd was always available as needed. We will definitely be back! Too, the kids loved it (our dog too)😊!!

The Memory Maker - Camper w/Hot Tub Near The Wilds

We had such a great time at The Memory Maker for our Thanksgiving/hunting trip. We immediately felt right at home & really loved the card and treat for our pup. I thought that was really thoughtful. The hot tub was sooooooo nice and relaxing! The perfect place for an outdoor getaway. The hosts were VERY helpful and accommodating! They responded almost immediately to any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here! We look forward to coming back.

overall great trip! anything I had a very minor issue with, Abby communicated well and quickly. every talks about the driveway for a reason. it's steep- especially you're not used to those kinds of drives. pretty views. heard the whippoorwills and owls at night. string lights are cute. cute decor. was a little chilly at night but putting a fan in front of the heater to circulate it to rest of cabin made a very positive noticable difference. would stay again.

My family and I stayed at this location for a full week while my daughter attended rowing camp at Marietta college. We had full occupancy over 7 nights, and I worked remotely during the day. Everything was perfect— we felt at home right away. The host was responsive and kindly allowed for an early check in. There is some traffic noise on weekday mornings as vehicles drive up the steep hill - so bring a noise machine if that bothers you. But all-in-all this location is an incredibly good value. We will definitely stay again!

If I could give Robin 10 stars, I would!!! This was a gift for my parents for their anniversary. Clean, cozy,and relaxing where how my parents described their stay! They loved the hot tub too! Robin went above and beyond, to make this a wonderful stay for them. They have already talked about wanting to go back.😊

Amazing place very beautiful and comfortable. The fire pit/cove was so beautiful. Drive up was a little rough in the gravel road but offered many great views very worth it.

This is such a cute little get away. Not only was it clean but it had everything that we needed. What was an extra bonus is that everyone that passes you on a walk that lives there waves at you which makes you feel very welcome. We would like to come back when we can use the lake as it's just a really short walk. I will recommend to my friends!

Dran was great to work with and very accommodating. This place is beautiful and comfortable. Tucked away in the woods with a beautiful view....you'll have great family/friend time playing games and watching movies. Which was perfect, because the weather was icky. It's only about 5 miles from campus and super close to everything you could possibly need or want of you choose to venture out. We will definitely be back!! "Thanks, Dran."

Toni is a wonderful host and the house was perfect for our weekend in Marietta. The fenced backyard was a bonus for kids and the dog and the kitchen is well supplied. We enjoyed walking across the street for dinner on the river and the young grandchildren enjoyed watching for barges going up and down the Ohio. We never had an issue finding on-street parking on the side street - there is no dedicated driveway. Anyone with mobility issues would find this location challenging but for us it was just fine. Fond memories of Easter egg hunt outside and due to chilly weather, inside as well.

When I booked the cabin I thought we would be alone .However there is a porch connecting two cabins and another home close by . But we were absolutely surprised and very pleased how quiet it was . We had a great time at this location - it was so nice to have a retreat in the woods. It was spacious, clean, and perfect for our weekend. It was easy to get back into Athens for the swim meet we were attending - and also allowed us to feel like a bit of a vacation while we were there. Brent was incredibly proactive in communication and responsive with any questions. I would highly recommend this place - we talked about coming back in the warmer months for a fun weekend!

The house was beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed this space. It gave our family a wonderful space to relax and connect. The kids loved the swingset and yard to play in. We will definitely be renting this space again in the future when we visit our family that lives in the area.

This was a cozy little place to stay! Box fans were provided in the bedrooms and it was definitely a comfortable stay. THE GOATS!! They were the peak of the experience. And Brent brought us a dozen farm fresh eggs the night we got there! We had 7 guests and there was still plenty of space! Thank you so much!!
