We loved our stay! Ruth's place was exactly as described. She was warm and welcoming with lots of local recommendations for our dogs to walk too. Her home was beautiful with lots of little touches that made the place feel like home. Yes, the stairs are steep and this was no issue as we read the description before arriving. To the person saying these are like ladders in another review.. this certainly isnt true. They are steep stairs, but when you take the stairs up to the bedspace you are met with the most lovely cosy space; dimly lit beautifully. We made use of the sauna despite me not being able to tolerated it but even so was a lovely added facility to try. The dogs settled well in the kitchen overnight and despite being on the main highstreet it was blissfully quiet. No disturbances what so ever. And we are hoping to come back and explore the area more!

perfect host and very responsive, me and the wife would definitely stay here again if visiting this part of nottingham, quite little estate close to everything but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city centre!

Our group had an amazing time at this accomodation. All the rooms are very spacious. The little additional touches Fin provided with the little gifts, kitchen products etc. Location wise the place was perfect, close enough to shops to pick up some basics, close to bus routes and only a short taxi in and out of town. Thankfully the weather was really nice also which meant we were able to spend sometime outside in the very spacious garden. Fin was also very responsive on the chat function both prior and during the booking. Thanks is again Fin for letting us stay and should we ever be back in Nottingham we will be sure to rebook..

Absolutely loved our stay in Nottingham. The house is in such a central location, about a 5 minute walk from the arena. Scott is an excellent host and came straight back to me when I had any questions. We will definitely stay again if our plans take us to Nottingham xxx

Elly's house was ideal for us. It's in the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac and is a nice size for a family of four to share. The house is really well looked after and Elly was very generous with food and practical items that she'd provided to help enhance our stay. We used the house as a base to travel to Wheelgate Park and Chatsworth. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Lovely house in a good location. Very clean with a great lounge, also comfortable and nice sized rooms. Jasmine was really helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again!

This is a great place to stay. The property is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. It is in a quiet area a short walk away from Melton Mowbray town centre. The host, Adie is very friendly and check in instructions and directions were easy and clear. We really appreciated having tea, coffee, milk and even cereals and breakfast items provided for our stay which was a really nice addition. Highly recommend Adie's place for a stay in this area.

The cottage was very clean, very cute, and well placed - Chatsworth House is highly recommended, but definitely go early and stay all day because it's huge! It was a very comfortable and homey stay, and the fresh eggs, bread, and milk provided were all delicious and very welcomed. Ed and his family were all very friendly and we'll absolutely be back!

Really good value for money, we visit Nottingham a lot, so will definitely come back here!! Nice quiet location in The Park, but so walkable and close to everything. Really nice yoga studio next door that I was able to use for a quick workout- thank you! The most comfortable bed too!

Joy and Richard were the perfect hosts who would chat when you met them in passing, such a friendly couple their garden was a beautiful place and very tranquil. We would definitely stay again and wish both of them more happy guests

We loved our stay at Kate's apartment. Firstly, Kate is a fantastic host and communication was spot on prior to our visit. The apartment is well looked after, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Everything has been well thought out and you will absolutely 100% have everything you need for your stay. We loved that the apartment had a 'home from home' feel to it; our 3 year old and 19 month daughters loved exploring (it's a bit of a tardis with plenty of space!) and really appreciated the toys that were there. The local area is ideal for exploring all that the peak district has to offer. Highly recommend trips to Thornbridge Estate and hiring bikes along the Monsal trail. If you want to stay in and cook then it's no problem as the apartment has everything you need however you won't go far wrong if you decide to eat at Toll Bar Chippy (about a minutes stroll down the hill) or Stella's Kitchen located not far from Eyam. Overall, highly recommended. Would love to return.

This is a delightful place to stay. The room is spacious, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the location is convenient. It has 2 large comfortable chairs, a large couch, and a nice double bed. Andrew took care to stock the kitchen with milk, fruit, bread, jam, and an array of spices, condiments, and other convenience items. There is a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, kettle, etc. I couldn't think of anything the kitchen needed. It is ideal for someone needing to be at the University of Nottingham for a period of time, since it is about a 15 minute walk to the entrance. Woolaton park is also only 10 minutes away, and getting on to a bus route to other locations is also close by. There is a "Dairy Box" convenience store next door to the location, which is excellent for getting breakfast foods, dinners, and most convenience items. The television and internet both work at a top-notch level. Overall, this is one of the nicest and most convenient Airbnb's I have ever stayed in.

Spotlessly clean, everything as described and looked like pictures. Had everything we needed for a 2 nights stay. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

Lynn & Gavin were great hosts — very friendly and accommodating! They were so kind to lend us an excellent hiking map and provide us with walking directions upon arrival. The breakfast was great! Their property is located very close to cute Tissington village and the walking trail. If you are looking for a quiet, remote getaway — this is your spot! :)

Second time visiting and once again totally worth it. It truly was a special short trip made even lovelier by Andrew. This cottage is a little gem! You can really see the owner’s dedication to creating a comfortable and pleasant experience for her Airbnb guests. It’s clean, well-organized, and breakfast is provided. Everything you might need is there—from the microwave to the kettle, and even an iron. The beds are comfortable, and everything is spotless! The little sitting room is lovely, as is the outdoor space. We only stayed one night, as it was on our way back from a trip to Scotland, but we really enjoyed the food at the nearby gastropub and visiting Sherwood Forest—an epic experience for our child, who’s a big Robin Hood fan. Thank you, Clare—we’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay in Buxton! The location was perfect for exploring the area – we visited the Cavern Pool Cavern and had an amazing experience. It was truly a great trip overall. Highly recommend staying here!

Julie was amazing! We got married this weekend at Tissington Hall and had booked her accommodation for our grandparents. Julie was so helpful from booking to check in, she helped by putting them in a room with no stairs to access, earlier check in, really clear check in details (as they are not from the area). Great room! We stayed in number 2. For one night, wished we booked more time. Bed super comfy, great pillows. Even though it was facing the main road, the room was quite. Really good windows. All really well cleaned and decorated with modern good taste. None of the 80s 90s looks that you can find the country side still. Can’t rate the breakfast as we never made it, we were way to tired to get up, and like I said the bed was great.
