Me and my partner stayed here over the New Year period and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Gavin and Nicky’s property. The amenities such as the hot tub, kitchen, bathroom etc was absolutely perfect and exactly as described on the listing. They even went out of their way to leave us some small bottles of Prosecco and celebratory items which we thought was a wonderful thought from them. We would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend Beeches Bach enough to potential future guests.

We have just returned from a week at The Piggery and can honestly say it was the best UK holiday we have ever had. The Piggery has everything you need and we felt at home straight away. The location is wonderful. If you like hiking, you will love this place. We walked for miles and miles and still found different routes each day. The mountain you see in the distance is walkable but a hard climb. The views are worth it though! I would recommend downloading Kamoot and creating routes to explore. You won’t get lost and everywhere is dog friendly. The Chainbridge hotel was a perfect spot to grab a beer and a pinot blush after a long relaxing walk and then it’s a 2 min stroll to your waiting hot tub! Honestly can’t rave about this place enough. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful 2 nights staying in the cottage on a working farm. It felt really peaceful but was also only a 5-10 min drive to Ruthin. We stayed here so we could go walking in the Clwydian Range, this was around a 15-20 min drive depending on which car park we wanted to start the walk from, but it was all perfect for us. We even found a short local walk from the cottage itself along a public footpath. The cottage was very well equipped, we used the kitchen each evening, and it was a lovely cozy space. The cottage was immaculate and we really enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the horses nearby. Richard and Ceri were lovely and welcoming hosts and we'd highly recommend the rural retreat.

Great small touches lovely fresh eggs, bread, butter, wine and even supplied some baby food for our grandson. Very friendly and thoughtful, responsive to requests. We also met Luke who kindly lit us a fire in the evenings. Lovely Airbnb comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend.

My four-day stay in a beautiful and quiet cottage with a jacuzzi was a true feast for the senses and a perfect way to escape from everyday life. Right from the start, when I arrived at the cottage, I was welcomed by a picturesque landscape and the lovely owner, Suzy, who gave us a tour of the house. One of the biggest advantages of this place was the jacuzzi. After a long day spent exploring the area, relaxing in the warm water was a true luxury. I will definitely return in the future! 👍

Great little bungalow on a quiet road. Cross over to sand dunes leading to a great stretch of beach. A nice walk into either Prestatyn or Rhyl. Handy local shops for provisions. The place has everything you need for a peaceful stay at the coast. Kirsty was a superb host, offering great suggestions for places to visit

Anvil Cottage was the perfect retreat for my partner's birthday! We were looking for a cosy, relaxing weekend getaway and the cottage exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the coziness and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home and the pictures don’t it justice as others have mentioned. The highlight without a doubt was the private hot tub. After a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal: close enough to lots of lovely Welsh Villages where you can find some equally lovely pubs, restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a proper escape. Lots of gorgeous walks and scenery to explore. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the small touches provided by Helen who was brilliant from start to finish. A truly memorable birthday celebration and we would highly recommend to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was fantastic, everything we needed and very clean. Garden area lovely for our little dog and so many birds singing. Loved that gated area for the car too. Wonderful scenery in the area to walk or drive around. Everyone in the area very friendly and everywhere clean. We had a fabulous few days at Garth Mill. Dan messaged to give us location/check in details & we were also offered an early check in which was perfect. The house is even better than described - pristine and decorated with immaculate taste. The only think I feel would improve it is a larger fridge - but that’s a minor quibble. There is so much history to the house and it is great to see all the old photos dotted about. Dan checked to see we had arrived safely and to make sure we knew he was available for any questions. Would highly recommend!

Just returned home from 4 nights stay at Ty Bedwen and couldn’t have asked for better. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful views and the hosts are kind, welcoming and informative. In the first night, Gareth invited our two children to help bottle feed his lambs which was unexpected but fantastic. He recommended the local farm shop which is amazing, the local milk store and pubs to try in the area. We ate at the Sun Inn and the Raven, both were lovely. We had drinks in the rose and crown which is about 0.5 mile walk from the lodge. The pub is very reasonable and the staff are really friendly. We had trips to Loggerheads park and climbed Moel Famau. We also did a day in Betws y coed which is about 50 mins away. Bala is worth a visit purely for the views in the drive down. Stunning! We would return to the lodge in a heartbeat. Thank you for being such fab hosts!

We had a lovely stay with Kay during our holiday in Eryri, we spent the long weekend visiting the national park and it was superb! The Airbnb was perfect and equipped with everything we needed. Thank you!

A fantastic little place to stay with incredibly helpful owners. It is ideal for a couple to use as a base to explore the local area. It is situated on a quiet road and is equipped with everything you could need for a mini break. Further afield you have access to a whole host of walks across North Wales. We couldn’t have asked for much more.

Great stay at the barn, very spacious and as the photos show. Lots and lots of young toys, books and games on hand with added bonus of high chair and travel cot. Comfy beds. Wished we could have enjoyed the outdoor space more but weather wasn’t over kind to us as wanted to see the view more but the cows, chickens and goats came along to say Hello anyway!

Amazing home in a beautiful part of Wales. You get badger views every night with the host’s feeding, and horses to give apples in the day. The home is cosy and rural, giving you the full country experience right by the coast. You even have a wood fire to make smores if you want. I would absolutely come back, it was an amazing weekend

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

We had a wonderful stay in Meryl's cottage. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Meryl is an amazing host. She gave us a little tour of the family farm and recommended beautiful places to visit. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, the cottage is comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. We warmly recommend and definitely would stay there again !

Was a great house to escape to between Xmas and new year with friends, teenagers and dog. Perfect base for exploring North wales, Lou recommended a great pub in Bala and was very helpful and quick at communicating too.

We had such a wonderful stay! Helen and Tony are absolutely lovely—so friendly, caring, and welcoming. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need. It’s also spacious—big, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and the fact that you live on a farm with horses and birds around adds such a peaceful, magical touch. It’s the perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic Long Weekend at Stable cottage, a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The house was big enough for us all to hang out comfortably, the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and appliances you’d need and we all slept very well in the lovely comfy beds. For our time there, the weather was just perfect and being right beside the river and woodland walks was a delight. Our main aim was to climb Yr Wyddfa, and we were about an hour’s drive from the start of the Llanberis trail. We had a great meal at the Goat Inn which is around the corner, but it wasn’t long to drive into the charming Betsws-y-coed. We will definitely return!

This is a really lovely property that is off the beaten track; it is well worth the drive down some narrow country roads. The views are amazing and the property is of a very high standard.

Darren's house was amazing, it had everything we needed and was very clean. Darren was great with communication. We would happily stay again :)
