This is our third stay at Sophia’s Cottage, and it was a wonderful as ever. Sophia takes great care to ensure a comfortable stay from the start. With fresh flowers and a welcome gift (nice bottle of pinot noir!), it’s a wonderful start to the stay! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but the house is also in walking distance from terrific restaurants if you’d rather go out! There are lots of lovely touches around the house so your stay feels home-y. Throw blankets and pillows, nice shower gel and shampoo, teas and coffees. The beds are very comfortable, and the neighbourhood is peaceful, so good nights sleep guaranteed. It’s great to have washer and dryer and a dishwasher to make things easy. Sophia is kind and responsive, and a wonderful host. We will absolutely be back and look forward to it!

Cute place, historic building, great location, well-stocked. Ceilings in bedrooms about 6'3", so not for really tall people. Ivana is super responsive and accommodating.

Our stay at East Central Ave far exceeded our expectations! The suite was incredibly spacious, offering a comfortable and peaceful retreat. Despite being a basement unit, the private entrance, full bathroom, ample windows, and lovely patio made it feel more like a standalone apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials. The location was ideal—it is only a short walk to shops, restaurants, walking trails, and the Paoli train station; everything we needed was within reach. Between Home Cooked and the Mediterranean Market, there are lots of healthy clean fully prepped eating choices for eating in. If you want to venture out, TJ's is within walking distance. In addition to the perfect location, what truly set this stay apart were the thoughtful amenities. Our host considered virtually every detail and the high-quality WiFi made remote work seamless. We have at least two more stays planned in the coming months.

Can't say enough about how great this place was - it was clean, safe, comfortable, and a short and pleasant walk to Swarthmore College. Mark was extremely clear in his communications and went out of the way to make me and other members of my family feel welcome. It's a unique space, with lots of fun art and furnishings, as well as a large back yard with fire pit. Mark is a generous host who will do all he can to make you feel at home.

Perfect spot for our visiting family. Close to many amenities, lots of room, and an overall homey and fun spot. Hosts are so responsive and kind. They were proactive in reaching out with check in instructions and follow up quickly. This put our mind and travels at ease.

Family of six visiting from South Florida, needed the comfort of a home on our college road trip. Close to UPENN, but far enough to have some peace and quiet. Great host and impeccable home you can believe all the reviews! Will definitely stay here if we visit the area again.

My daughter and son-in-law were in town from MB, Fl. To visit my other daughter and son-in-law who live in Ardmore, PA. They just had their first baby (a little boy). I decided to rent an airbnb close to them (I live in NJ) so that we can be together for 3-days visiting with the new baby. I also had my granddaughter and my 3-year-old great grandson with us. The house was just the right space needed. I particularly liked the layout of the house. The 3 bedrooms were on the 2nd floor. The middle bedroom with the two wooden full size beds was perfect for my granddaughter and her son. I had the room adjacent to that room which had a separate stairway leading to the 1st floor into the kitchen and downstairs bathroom; which was gorgeous. I didn’t have to go through the middle bedroom to access the first floor or a bathroom. The 2nd floor had a full beautiful bathroom too. Clem Macrone park was nearby (7min drive). A pristine play ground/park prefect to take my grandson to. Everything perfect!

Barbara went above and beyond! Super helpful and responsive. While the property is pretty in the winter, it would be amazing in bloom. Inside, we had everything we needed for our month stay.

A truly beautiful and well-maintained home outside the city, and a great base of operations for a long weekend getaway. We were well and thoroughly charmed by the house and would absolutely stay again!
