Our family really enjoyed our stay. The beach was really close and beautiful, and uncrowded . The house has been well maintained and has had loads of extra spaces added. We used their grill which worked great, enjoyed their fireplace and the kids loved the game room. Super convenient to use the garage door for loading and unloading. Lots of parking places and really reasonable pricing! Thanks for the great memories!

The home was very nice and comfortable for the seven of us to spend our Christmas holiday. The location was perfect for watching the sunset and the waves during a storm. Having the stairs across the street was perfect to go during low tide and go tide pooling. We would certainly stay there again if we went back to that area.

My wife and I along with our two dogs had a great stay at Jim’s place. Hiking down to the river, crossing it and finding the hidden waterfall was surreal! Campfires in the cool evenings with the provided wood were fantastic. We didn’t see another person during our four night stay, it was great to getaway from it all for a bit. Jim was a responsive and friendly host, would definitely stay again!

Well stocked kitchen and appliances. The kids loved the toys and the jacuzzi bathtub. Excellent location, only a short drive to the coast and redwoods. Unlike many other rentals in Crescent City, this house is outside of the tsunami hazard zones.

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

I am looking forward to staying again. Though it wasn’t beach front it was nice and private. It is a beautiful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The private beach was beautiful too…

Great location for tide pools and exploring the beaches, plus easy to get to good restaurants and the like. Our family of 4 used it as a base for a spring break trip to the redwoods, both Jedidiah Smith State Park and the Klamath area, and it worked great.

This home was welcoming from the beginning and it felt like pir home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, and you're within walking distance of the beach! The host was very sweet and gave us great recommendations to the local spots! It was truly a way away from home, you can't beat a block away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the Redwoods!

We stayed here for my wife’s 60th birthday. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do around. The sound of the ocean at night from the master bedroom was amazing. Everything was clean and tidy. You can walk to the lighthouse and there are several places to eat within walking distance. There were lots of attractions around. I would stay here again if the opportunity arose. Thanks for the great memories, Dave.

Ira’s cottage was lovely! The view was so beautiful from every window, amazing sunset color, crashing waves over the sea stacks, truly special! The cottage had everything we needed for a fabulous stay! We enjoyed cooking meals and sitting at the table soaking in the view. It was great having two bedrooms and 2 baths, one for each of us which made getting up and out early to hikes so easy. The location was perfect to easily get to stunning redwood hikes, kayaking, restaurants and grocery store. The best thing of all was the easy access to the beach and long walks along the water and the tide pools just soaking in the beauty of this magnificent wild coast! Thank you Ira!

Lola was great host. House was clean and in a great location, any questions we had, Lola promptly and professionally addressed. Great stay, would definitely book again if in the area!

Another great stay. This is our 2nd time here. We love this location as it is right on the beach and close to the Redwoods and Smith River. It was fun waking up to a couple of cute little baby bunnies wandering around the blackberry bushes. The blackberries were ripe which made for a nice afternoon snack. Brenda has created a lovely space. The bed is very comfortable and the view of the ocean while sitting in bed is a great way to start and end the day.

Loved this place. We only came here because of the views. Wish the windows would have been cleaner to enjoy them better but aside from that it was a beautiful home. Clean and tidy. There was no toilet paper but contacted manager and he brought some for us right away. There’s bushes in the back patio that obstructs the ocean view but if you’re tall shouldn’t be a problem.

Stunning views from all windows! The house was amazing. Will stay there again. Easy access to Jedediah Smith State Park, Tree’s of Mystery, Howland Hills Drive, Stout Grove Trail, Grove of Titan Trail. 100% recommend! Battery Point Lighthouse, Crescent Beach Overlook. Just an amazing area and the house was perfect to come back to after a long day of sightseeing!

We, a group of 3 couples enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very nice and accommodated all of our needs. The view of the ocean was amazing. We enjoyed hiking in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Would definitely stay there again.

This place is better than the pictures. They don’t do it justice. The house was very clean, I’m a stickler on clean floors and I could walk barefoot in this house! The walk to the beach is like 2mins max it’s pretty much her back yard and then the ocean. We will be staying here again for sure and my boyfriend has already recommended it to his friends.

We needed accommodations for 9 people and this was perfect for us. Love the location of this beautiful home. We walked on the beach in the morning and it is a short drive to Redwood National Park for amazing hikes.

A beautiful home with an absolutely stunning panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. The property was well furnished and had some neat amenities. Host was friendly and responsive throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend it.

This place is beautiful. The kitchen had an amazing view. The bathroom in the master was bathroom goals/dreams. Overlooking the ocean. The walk down to the beach is a little steep but doable. Couple hike within a short drive. Overall would book again. Lots of bathrooms and places to sleep.

The house was charming and quaint. It felt very private. We love the peacefulness of the surroundings, the beach and the yard. Overall, we felt very secluded and safe and it was nice to spend our family time there.
