We really enjoyed our stay at lakeside fishing retreats, we met and chatted with most of the staff and family and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. The pizza hut and Bar was lovely also, felt like a little local with such a friendly welcoming environment, the pizza's and cakes were delicious and the drinks are very reasonable priced too. Perfect place for anyone who loves to fish, but also close enough to the seaside for a day out only 20mins drive, the back to pure tranquility within the complex. Many thanks and we will endeavour to return in the near future.

A lovely home from home cottage with all amenities you'll ever need. Even provided stairs gates and a high chair upon request. Great location to explore the area and having a pub within 1 minute walk is a bonus!

My Mum and I stayed for 1 night. What an amazing place. Denise showed us around and was very informative, she showed how to use the Sauna and the Hot tub safely - the hot tub even has Bluetooth so we were able to enjoy some tunes. We had a wonderful time and even enjoyed a brilliant view of the magical sunset. Enjoyed the home made wine we purchased, it was delicious. In the morning Denise gave mum a bunch of flowers that she had picked in her garden. We would thoroughly recommend a night or two here.

Really lovely home. There garden is huge, great for the kids, though I didn't take them this time. Would highly recommend and visit again

Highly recommended! Beautiful cottages and location, perfect for our group holiday. The kitchens were equipped with all we needed, the accommodations had great showers and comfortable beds. The garden is an amazing outdoor space perfect for summer dining. We really enjoyed our stay and Kirsty was a brilliant host, she was really responsive when we messaged. Thanks again!

I didn’t stay personally, but my partner and daughter went there for a weekend, the place is wonderful, especially if you have dogs. Beds are comfortable and all round reports were positive. The only things worth a mention I suppose our lack of Wi-Fi/phone reception and also if you are driving a van the people on the gate can be quite unhelpful. Probably best mentioning it in advance so the owner can have a word but my family loved it and would happily go back 😊

1st class communication and welcome from our hosts. One minor hiccup was solved quickly and completely. Loved the hot tub and walk-in shower. We also appreciated the welcome pack and gift 🥰

We would highly recommend this wonderful little find. Shame we didn’t come later in the year as we’ve missed out on the goats! Thank you so much!
