We’re so grateful to Chris, Holly and their team for their exceptional responsiveness and kindness. Even though we had a few hiccups on our end getting there, they made everything feel seamless. Everyone was incredibly friendly, informative, and checked in with us throughout the day to ensure we were doing well. I would absolutely recommend this place to families—it was such a comforting and welcoming experience. We left for one day, but honestly, we wish we had stayed at the Home the entire time. We truly didn’t want to leave. The views were amazing!!!

Where do we start? We were so delighted with our stay! Can we give it more stars? The Atlashouse was a lovely spacious retreat in the woods, with an open floor plan, large bedrooms, and modern sophisticated baths. A covered front porch with rocking chairs for watching the sunset on a mountain night, and a screened-in porch off the back, perfect for morning yoga sessions. Everything you will need is provided, like towels near the back door for the hot tub - which, by the way, so nice on a cool evening! The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas and table for games and fun, perfect after a day playing in Dahlonega. We look forward to a return visit to this lovely home.

Relaxing and refreshing!

I took my team from work here for a business retreat and everyone was so impressed by the quality of the house, furnishings and linens! Everything was restful and complimented the country setting- we loved the walking paths and wellness center in the neighborhood and the local spas and restaurants. It was especially helpful that the hosts stocked household supplies like dishwasher packs, detergent, and extra toilet paper to save us on the hassle of bringing all of those items. Melissa was quick to help with all of my questions, too! Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Melissa did a great job of cleaning. The hot tub did not work for a little, but she fixed it by the morning. Very cute place. Great stay.

This place was perfect for our family. There was a ton of space and the kids were fully entertained between the aracade games, air hockey, and games. The kids even got to play with some of the kids in the neighborhood. Loved all the outside spaces set up to enjoy the views and fresh air. Kicthen had everything we needed and more! The host was very responsive and accommodating. Home has a steep driveway with a leveled off carport at the top and route to the house is what you would expect getting to a home in the mountains. Would definitely return and with everything offered this place was outstanding for the price! Zero complaints and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway.

We recently stayed in this beautifully designed Big Canoe cabin, and it exceeded all expectations. The perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience, it featured soaring ceilings, natural light, and a stunning stone fireplace. Every room was impeccably decorated with high-end finishes, creating a true retreat. The well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed—quality cookware, sharp knives, ample dishware, and specialty appliances like a Keurig and an air fryer. The plush bedrooms with high-quality linens ensured a restful sleep, and the spotless, spa-like bathrooms added to the luxury. Beyond the cabin, Big Canoe offers hiking trails, lakes, and plenty of outdoor activities. This cabin was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable—truly the perfect getaway. We can’t wait to return!

There are super hosts and then there’s Chris. The house was great! The hot tub on the deck was a nightly endeavor. The game room was our place to chill with a great TV, ping pong table and a console arcade game with what seemed like 50+ choices. All that said what set this place on a level all by itself was the host…Chris!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin! The cabin is exactly as described and just so cozy! We loved all of the small, intimate touches! Jennifer is a great hostess and responded immediately to our small concerns! Highly recommend!

This place was GREAT for our long weekend! We could have stayed and never left the cabin and been just fine. The location is great. We ventured to Dahlonega and Helen during our stay. The cabin is funky and fun, lots of great touches to help you feel at home! My kiddo loved the bright colors, the board games, and the smores pack that greeted us. The drive way is a bumpy dirt road, but totally worth it- secluded and quiet just as described! We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful oasis in the foot hills of northern Georgia. We could not have asked for a better quick getaway weekend retreat. The only thing that would have made our stay better was more time. We enjoyed lounging on the large deck warming to the fire pit after our round of golf on 1 of 3 beautiful 9 hole course. We also appreciated the recommendation by our host to eat at "Home" the restaurant right outside the gates of Big Canoe. The staff was really accommodating and the food was outstanding. Other activities not to miss include fishing on the lake and catching the Amicolola falls about a 25 minute drive away. The house was spacious and well appointed in a very peaceful setting. Frank was accommodating and very responsive throughout our stay. We look forward to returning some time in the future!

Katherine’s place was super cute, well decorated, and stocked! I appreciated the high quality kitchen equipment as well as the fans in each room and extra blankets. The birdsong in the morning was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Blue Door while on a business trip, on our time off explored the downtown area several of the days. We were pleasantly surprised by this home, it was much better than we anticipated. Kim, the host was very responsive, helpful, and thought of everything that one may want while staying at the home. It was extremely sanitary and every room including the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. The neighborhood is safe, conveniently located, and the downtown area is so quaint. We had every amenity while we were at the home and everything that was needed to enjoy our stay. Kim really thought of everything! We are use to cooking homemade meals, so having a fully stocked kitchen with nice, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. was definitely a huge plus. Linens were fresh, clean, and smelled great. We will definitely be back when we have more time to enjoy the small town of Dahlonega, maybe Christmas, as we hear it is spectacular place to be. Thanks Kim!

Awesome place - extremely clean and well maintained. The screened-in porch was a perfect spot to have group meals/games. The party dock was also another great addition. Will definitely be going back.

5 Stars We had the best time staying at this beautiful property for a family trip! The area itself was stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a family getaway. The home was absolutely immaculate and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The kids loved the arcade area, and we all had fun around the game table in the evenings. It was the perfect place to relax and connect with family. We’d absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in the area—it’s a true gem!

What a wonderful peaceful place!! We had a great time in your lovely home. Everything was neat, clean, lots of extras! Nice smart TV for movies and the fire pit area is wonderful! Close to Dahlonega for restaurants and shops and then you can escape to peacefulness! We will definitely be back!

This was a great place to stay! We enjoyed it! If I had to provide any recommendations about the property it would be the driveway, but they did make sure that we knew about the off-road conditions of the driveway, which was great! You will need a 4x4 vehicle to get up and down the driveway. This wasn't an issue for us, but I could see how some folks could have some issues. besides that, the house, the creek, and everything else was great!

Amazing stay! We loved the house! It was a little bit hard to get there especially in the dark, I don’t think we realized it was so far up the mountain but other than that it was an amazing experience!

We spent 5 weeks at this cozy cabin with our 3 young children while we were selling our own house in town, and we truly felt right at home. We only had one minor issue that was fixed immediately. The hosts were all super kind and responsive. We love Big Canoe and Trevor’s cabin is a gem. It’s deep in Big Canoe, but that means zero traffic noise! So incredibly peaceful, we didn’t want to leave.

This beautiful home was a great location to have a girls weekend trip to wineries. Downtown Dahlonega and several wineries were all within minutes. Suited our party of 5 perfectly. The house is in a very peaceful location with a beautiful stream close by.
