It was lovely staying at Paula’s place. The house is amazing and there was ample space for the 7 of us. We all found the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the multiple bathrooms meant each room has effectively their own one. The hot tub was the cherry on top and it was pure bliss ending our days relaxing in it! Paula was extremely helpful, friendly and communicative. Having told her that one of us had their birthday, she offered to pick up a cake for them if we wanted, and while we didn’t take her up on her offer, she still had a bottle of Prosecco and a small cake waiting for us when we arrived! Paula’s place is very well situated to explore Yorkshire, including both the Dales to the west and the Moores to the East. Local attractions also included Raby castle and beautiful village of Barnard Castle, which was also the nearest hub for shops and restaurants, an 8 minute drive away. Thanks Paula for your hospitality. We’ll gladly return!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage its self was gorgeous and the space inside was a really great lay out and very spacious! The cottage had everything we needed as-well as the little extras that were complimentary, and overall Sheila has been a great host and I would recommend this place, we had an amazing stay here! We had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend. Everything was perfect & exactly as described, the rooms were clean & well decorated, the hot tub was ready to go & it was so peaceful. The extras like prosecco & ice were very much appreciated. We walked to the local farm shop & The Coores Arms for dinner which was lovely. We couldn't have chosen a better place for a much needed getaway.

Amazing host and amazing property!

Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

This house was beautiful, it smelt so good as we walked in and was a great size. It still has some lovely Christmas decorations up for our twixmas break. On the whole it was very clean. The facilities were great, very well equipped kitchen (but no oil like the listing said), washer and dryer came in handy as there were no towels for the hot tub. There were plenty of logs for the fire even though the heating worked really well throughout the house and there was clear instructions in the book. The garden was fenced off and very neat with a small play tractor which was a nice touch. A big black dog which was always of lead came in the garden, I’m not sure of it was the owner’s or a guest next door. I’m sure this cottage would be lovely in summer. We used Tesco in Catterick Garrison for a click and collect and there is an Aldi there too.

Emma & Paul’s place is absolutely top notch. Emma saved me from having a horrendous birthday at another Air BnB we booked 10 miles away that was terrible! What a stunning place… The decor is beautiful, the area is superb, the amenities are amazing (hot tub & sauna). The bed is large and really comfy, the shower is lovely, everything was spotless when we arrived even though we were there within a mere few hours from booking. Location is beautiful. Emma was an INCREDIBLE host who absolutely went above and beyond to help me - even going to get me formula for my baby as I’d not slept the night before and was shattered. Would return in a heart beat and will be doing! X

Lovely nights stay, the lodge was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Slippers, robes and the goodies left were a wonderful bonus. Will definitely be back!

A beautiful couple of nights stay at Chris’ Airbnb. Could not fault the cabin one bit, it was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The outdoor area and hot tub were also spotless and very clean. We would come back here in a heartbeat and will be recommending to friends!

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotless clean. The hot tub was great and the option to add a sauna session is highly recommended, the views are amazing! The stay is perfect for relaxation. Anthony was very responsive and gave us some nice tips for local outings through their online guide. He also showed us how to operate the woodfire hot tub with the provided logs, which was very helpful. The only issue we had was how close the cabins were to each other. Our "neighbours" didn't abide by the rule of no outside music and played rave songs on loud, spoiling the advertised tranquility a bit but this was not the host's fault. We would definitely come again but will try to book a quieter time of the year or ask for a cabin at the very end of the site.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

Thank you both for a tranquil and idyllic weekend, we loved our stay in Ash. The perfect quiet spot, great for birdwatching and star gazing. The tub was an amazing experience and we will certainly be back! The highlight of our weekend was exploring the big back garden and tasting the amazing cheese we bought from Jonathan at the farmers market.

Definition of a hidden gem. We had a fantastic one night stay, seamless check in via a lockbox which suited me down to the ground being the worst people person on the planet. No pressure of overbearing staff, if that makes sense. Private hot tub looking down the small valley onto country side landscape was lush. Walk in shower, great little kitchen area with top tier amenities. comfy bed, netflix on the telly. Can't ask for more when looking for a break away from the hustle of everyday life. Zero complaints, I will 100% be booking this again.
