Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

It has 3 bedrooms, dining area and living room in an open space, fully equipped kitchen,bathroom with a shower, washer and a dryer. There is a small patio in the backyard and good space in the front with garden furniture. Space for 5 to 6 people to stay. Dalvík is about 10 min drive from Hauganes and there is a grocery store. There is no grocery store in Hauganes.

Located in Svarfaðardalur, 5 km from Dalvík and sleeps 6-7 people.
