First time to Surathkal, and chose a really lovely place. Devi was a great host and their place was very homely, very convenient and approachable to the main requirements within 5-10 mins drive away. The rooms and kitchen and the surroundings were very spacious and comfortable. The natural water swimming pool was a highlight and the backyard was also very green and nice to sit and relax. Devi welcomed us and helped us check in and recommended some amazing local food and places to explore. His Co host Sharath also helped us recommend a few places around. Overall, the place and the vibe was great at Devi's Airbnb. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent place to unwind yourselves with lush green coffee estates all around. The place itself is aesthetically done. Four smart and friendly dogs are always there to guide you. Nachi cooks some nice wood fired pizzas as well.

Had a peaceful and relaxed stay at Edwards Fernville. The property is big and the pool is well maintained. The caretaker Suma aunty is very sweet and helpful. Felt like a home away from home. Sunita, the host is very responsive and helpful. She happened to visit while we had to leave for the airport which is only 5 mins away and she very thoughtfully offered to drop us off. Great comfortable stay and a peaceful getaway.

The place was huge, comfortable and clean. It had mostly everything we needed and as described. The location isn’t exactly walkable to most restaurants but we had a car so that wasn’t an issue. The host was responsive and communicated well. Overall I’d definitely recommend Mala’s place.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at KWETO and it truly lived up to our expectations. We felt welcomed and at home. The cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. The local cuisine provided was delicious. It was such a treat to enjoy homemade and thoughtfully prepared meals. What really stood out was Madhu and his family’s hospitality. They went about to make sure we were comfortable, offering helpful recommendations and being readily available whenever we needed anything. Their kindness and attentiveness made the stay truly special and I felt more like a friend than just a guest. We are grateful for such a wonderful experience and would recommend KWETO Homestay to anyone looking for a charming and welcoming place. We will definitely be returning!

It’s a gem of a place to find in Surathkal!! If anyone is looking out for a lovely house that feels right like home, this is the best you can find. This is also a great option for any family to stay if their kid studies in NITK, as it’s super convenient to travel to and from college. (Sometimes the college guest house is unavailable and this could be a great alternative) The house is clean to bits, the kitchen cutlery is great and has everything one can ask for. They’ve a nice balcony to sit and sip chai, but unfortunately Surathkal was too hot for us to do so. The hosts, Dominic and Wilma, are super helpful and kind. They contacted us much earlier when we had to check in, and are super responsive to any requests made. Thank you, and will surely come back here! 😁

Anusha’s place felt like home. Every room has air conditioning, and the space was exceptionally clean. She was very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking.

Overall great experience. Very good location as the river is just behind the property which you can approach easily and take a bath as well. it feels private as well since the other side is a jungle Food is good, homely and tasty, although the quantity could be little bit more (as per the price). I would definitely recommend this place for nature lovers. Nearby there is kotey abbey falls which is 6kms away, that is very good.

Right from asking general queries to understanding how to choose the right mode of transportation since we were coming from a far location - the host Mr. Vijay communicated with us clearly. He was proactive and always enquired whether we were able to board the right mode of transportation. Coming to the estate stay - the moment you enter the place you will be greeted with friendly furry friends and see many plantations all around the place. Mr Vijay went above & beyond in enquiring what all he needed to provide us to make us feel at home. I am not sure how many hosts actually go the extra mile. Right from planning the itinerary to cooking the local cuisine specially the pizza, chicken curry, pork curry which were so delicious - everything was spot on. He recommended restaurants for all the lunches that we took outside during sightseeing and always enquired if we enjoyed the food & the cab services. We will definitely visit again.

Stayed with my family.. we were a group of 6 people along with an infant. Stay was very comfortable. This is an excellent property to saty with family.Ganesh was extremely helpful host. Any issue.. he was just a call away. This made our stay at coorg memorable and hassle free. Would love to stay here again.

Spencer house was a nice surprise! Located in a calm neighbourhood but close to town centre markets and eateries. Coming to the house, it’s a lovely old building maintained to high standards of cleanliness. The building has an old world charm and has a certain character. We traveled with our parents and families , all of us were reminiscing grandpa’s bungalow! The balcony near kitchen is great place to hang out in the evenings Gowri is super responsive, provides clear communication , and had provided guidance on local sightseeing and food options. Check in was smooth with the care taker. Couple of points to note , the house is on first floor with 3 large size bedrooms with attached toilets and kitchen , balconies; the stair to first floor is bit steep , so for elderly people it may be bit difficult . The kitchen is well equipped but only with an induction cooker. So it’s good for light preparations Overall had a great time and would recommend the place in Chikkamagalur.

The place is very clean and well maintained. Everyone in the family from 21 year old to 85 year old liked the place.

What a fantastic 2 days we had at Parvathy's place. She is so sweet and take care of her guests like her own family. Our bus was at night and she calmly agreed to let us stay till evening. The place was beautifully arranged and she has suggested us places that we could explore to. A big 10/10 stay it was for us.
