From first making the reservation until check-out, responses from the host were immediate and easily understood with all communications. She was open to any ideas that would help improve long-distance travelers, such as adding a safe for valuables and cash. The property and home were beautiful and easily accessible. The neighborhood was friendly. We all had a great time and plan to rent this property again.

This house was just what we were looking for. Everything looked exactly like the pictures. It was right on the beach with beach access just one house over. We loved being able to walk back and forth from the beach whenever we wanted. The beach access also appears to be the only one in the area with a viewing platform which was great! Gorgeous deck views for ocean and sunrise watching. Hot tub worked great and amenities were as listed. Areca reached out and was available for questions. Wonderful weekend!

We loved our stay, other than wishing we had booked for longer! It was great to walk to the beach, and our kids in particular loved the pool and hot tub! It was also so nice to be able to bring our 15 year old dog with us as she’s having a harder time getting around. Having everyone on one floor and a dog area was great!

Great place for a quiet, beach weekend! The apartment was bright, cheery, beach and clean. More than fully equipped - I can’t think of anything we could possibly ask for that wasn’t provided, including a well-stocked coffee bar and ice machine. Outdoor shower and rinse area with bicycles just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Great little bar/ food shack just two minutes away in the complex. Marcy was always proactive and responsive - a great host! We looking forward to coming back!

Nick and Chey’s place was perfect peaceful getaway. The interior was tastefully decorated, the nearest beach crossover is across the cul-de-sac, and the views from the top floor are amazing. Stunning sunrises and sunsets from that top deck. Hard to find houses in Corolla without any backyard neighbors, this place felt so private. Love that they updated the kitchen, bathrooms and thought of every convenience when they stocked the house. My wife and I usually vacation to the Outer Banks in the spring/summer, but we were meeting friends for the weekend and loved how accommodating Chey was. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future and bring our whole family next time to see how their new ground floor and pool area turn out. Can’t wait and thanks again!

Great family beach house! We traveled with our kids over spring break (off season). Easy to keep clean (spill proof!) and a very short walk to the beach. Excellent host who is kind and super communicative. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We’ll be back! Tip for electric car owners: We were able to charge our car at Twiddy’s for free because we were staying during **off season only**. Otherwise charge up fully before getting to Corolla.

The salty swan was perfect. The house was just as described and hosted the most beautiful sunsets. Hands down my favorite part of the house is the elevator! I walk with a cane, the sloth is my spirit animal; that elevator was a life saver! The sound was quiet and peaceful. So close to everything yet a reserved peaceful retreat. Can’t wait to come back.

An absolutely amazing space to be with family and celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The house has everything you need for a relaxing get away and the space is so quiet with spectacular views including gorgeous sunsets every night! Elissa was super communicative and the house was exactly as described. The decor is beautiful, beds are comfy, two refrigerators made it convenient for people on all levels, lots of space for everyone to have their own areas to unwind. Hot tub was awesome with such great views of the sound. Cannot wait to be back! Thank you for a memorable vacation for our family!

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican’s Nest. Two families with four young children, and we all stayed entertained the whole trip from the beach to the pool, as well as all the fun amenities the house had to offer. The house is beautiful. The sunset and sunrise from the porches are unmatched. We would definitely come back.

This condo was absolutely perfect! Beautifully renovated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. The ocean views from the living room and master bedroom were stunning, and the location—just steps from the beach and a short walk to Duck’s shops and restaurants—couldn’t be better. The kitchen was fully stocked and a joy to cook in, and the beds (with Kingsdown mattresses!) were incredibly comfortable. We loved the added amenities like sound machines, board games, a washer/dryer, and access to pools and a hot tub. Check-in was easy with keyless entry, and the host was responsive and welcoming. Every detail was considered to make our stay feel like home. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing Outer Banks getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

What a great place! Quick and easy walk to the beach. Quicker and easier walk to the pool. Pool was open and warm! Everything you needed was in the condo and there was also a dog park for the pups. Got to see sunsets on the sound and sunrises on the 4WD beach. Very relaxing and quiet and we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Lynn! Will do this again.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

Fantastic condo was exactly as described and expected. Host communication was excellent. Full kitchen was provided with cookware, silverware, cookware, and even a wine opener. Property amenities and beach access were greatly appreciated. Very quiet and peaceful in the off-season. Direct access to bike path was greatly appreciated for walking, running, and cycling. Town is a little over 2 miles south, so you can choose a long walk or quick bike ride for morning coffee and the famous Duck Donuts. Building G fronts the main road and will help you wake up in the morning so you can look out over the sound and make the most of the beautiful days. We look forward to staying on this property again or any other property with the excellent host!

The house is in Duck. It was easy to find and the neighborhood amenities were lovely and well maintained. The house was well equipped and in good condition. The only updates needed are the outdoor cushions. The property manager was available and responsive and we were grateful for his quick and helpful responses. We hope to return soon!

House was exactly as described and very clean! Short walk to beach with public access, great spot for sunrise!! Brad was very easy to communicate with even recommended lots of places close by for us to try. Would definitely stay here again.

From start to finish Richard was so kind and thoughtful. When the previous guests had to leave really early, he let us know we could check in early and he also inquired about what beverage we’d like waiting there for us after the long drive. We arrived to find, not just a bottle of wine, but also a meat/cheese/cracker tray and green seedless grapes. We really enjoyed them in the evening when we just wanted a little something to snack on. Richard really thought of everything; flashlights for night walks, walkie talkies, a Bluetooth speaker and anything you’d need for the beach. Two outside showers are there to take a complete shower or just spray off. The bathroom is also nice and big with plenty of linens; there’s even a bidet! (life-changing) Also, string lights on the deck made the outdoor space so beautiful at night. The walk to the beach was very short and the beach wasn’t overly crowded. Hands down, Richard’s place is our favorite Airbnb so far. We hope to be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Lorena’s beach bungalow with our daughters (6 and 9 years old). The interior is lovely. Care was given to filling the drawers with books and games. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer were large and efficient. La Bella Beach House is a short walk from the beach. Lorena has a shed stocked with all the beach essentials from chairs and umbrellas to boogie boards and sand toys. The pool was nice to have as well. Check in and communication with Lorena was a breeze. It was if we had been there many times before. All around, we had a great visit.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway at the beach. We especially liked the close proximity to Duck and the bikes and beach chairs available for use. The sound machine was a nice touch too.

Beautiful home and even better views. We saw wild horses on several occasions and even dolphins! Bobby sent an informative and helpful guide before we arrived with easy to follow instructions on how to find and enter the home, local restaurant recommendations and where to rent 4x4 vehicles. He was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was up to par. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time here and would absolutely stay again. The house was just as expected based on the description and photos. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view absolutely could not be beat. The house was so close to the ocean and watching the sunrises with a cup of coffee set each day off to a great start. We did not have any issues, so did not have any reason to communicate during our stay, but they were very proactive in messaging leading up to our stay with relevant details for our check-in and stay. This was a great location for our family trip!

Great place to stay with my family! It can be difficult to find a place that has enough bathrooms and living space but this was perfect. Definitely recommend it.

Angela was a wonderful host. Very helpful and accommodating. Responded immediately when we had a question. The house was as described and perfect size for our family. Very close to the beach and very private and peaceful. We would definitely rent it again.
