This house was a phenomenal stay for my wedding weekend. I love old southern houses and this place blew me away. Katie was very accommodating and responsive.

This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. Everything was great and we had a wonderful time!

Great spot for our family of six. Plenty of space for the kids and dogs to roam. After hiking the hot tub was a big hit. Easy access to SNP and caverns. River access lot was great for fishing but there was an experience with a neighbor. Be mindful of the white posts that are near the sign on the river lot for fox creek lodge. The posts don’t go all the way to the water but those posts denote separate property although there is no sign saying so. When my son was fishing three feet inside that on the rocks in the water, the very vocal neighbor came down to the road and threatened to call the cops on us and yelled pretty aggressively as he continued to walk towards us. It seemed like a strange escalation on his part when we immediately got my son on the other side of the post as soon as he yelled that it was private property. Just a note of caution, as we didn’t go down to the river after that because the guy left us feeling a little unsettled. No fault on this Airbnb at all.

This was our first trip as a family of 3. We took our 5 month old to this place and it was fantastic. It was peaceful and quite by the lake and the hot tub was great relaxing time. The management company was responsive throughout our entire stay. Location was great as it was located just a short drive to locate wineries/breweries/restaurants. We really enjoyed out 3 night 4 day stay out in nature!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered to make the experience perfect. The location was convenient, and the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. This property truly exceeded expectations, and I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others. An exceptional Airbnb experience from start to finish!

This place is absolutely delightful! The farm is beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was gorgeous and cozy. Loved the art and other homey touches. We had a great time hammocking and using the hot tub. If you feel like spending some time away from the cottage (you may not) there are lots of trails, breweries and wineries nearby. It’s an ideal spot for reading, sipping coffee and relaxing. I really don’t think place could get any more perfect. I would highly recommend it and hope to come back soon.

The place was super cute and clean! Not only are the surroundings absolutely gorgeous, there was a place to sit and enjoy it. The hot tub was a small walk and felt really private. The robes were such a nice touch! Close enough to restaurants, wineries, and Charlottesville without feeling like you’re staying in the city. I would definitely stay here again if I was coming to the area!

Bill's awesome. My family spent Thanksgiving at his place and I reached out ahead of time to find out if there's a mixer for our whipped cream. I would've brought mine from home, but within 2 minutes, he had ordered one to be delivered prior to our arrival! He responded to my questions within minutes. Adorable kitchen worked well for our TG prep. Dining room is in a cozy window-laden spot that was perfect for doing puzzles. Bedrooms have really comfy beds and linens. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need - plenty of fresh thick towels and the water pressure is impressive. Ping-pong table = fun. Backyard was perfect for our dog when we didn't have the time to spend in Court Square Park, conveniently located right down the road. There are two off-street well-lit parking spaces. And the location is fun - eat, drink and shop; catch a movie; just walk around and stumble upon a street performer. All good. UVA is a short walk down Main Street, cideries and wineries a short drive. Go!

Our family had the best stay at Amy’s place! It was clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfortable! The fire pit out back was so nice to relax after a day of exploring and wine tasting. We would definitely stay here again!

I’ve been in some more rustic conditions with Airbnb lately, but this house was clean and in good condition overall. It was right by the water and just perfect for what we needed.

Erica was a super-friendly, pro-active and very responsive communicator who gave clear and helpful responses and instructions. Fantastic dealing with her. The snacks/treats and coffee provided were an unexpected but really welcome treat after days hiking in the mountains. Great location for access to Charlottesville and surrounding mountains, wineries and brewpubs. A couple distant trains roll through during the night, but a little white noise from my phone easily negated that. Highly recommend!

Mary Scott and Mark's cottage was a wonderful little getaway. The cottage was quaint and cozy. Check-in instructions were very clear and our hosts were very responsive. It was a great location with beautiful surroundings and had many things to do within a 20-25 min radius. Downtown Charlottesville and Monticello were close by and were great day activities. We also really enjoyed the Glass House Winery which was about 5 min away. Beautiful home, highly recommend!

This house was amazing to stay at! The plan was just to find an Airbnb to stay at while we skied at wintergreen, but we ended up getting rained out and spent almost the whole time in the house. I was so fun the house is full of surprises and fun board games we weren't board for a minute! The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan’s place. She was easy to communicate with, provided excellent instructions on how to find the house and how to enter, and the Marie bette pastries were a lovely touch!! We were able to bring our dogs who enjoyed the views out the windows while we were at dinner. The space is cozy, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We visit Charlottesville often and this location is perfect-tucked away and quiet but easy to walk to uva main campus and access 29. Thanks for a great weekend!

This is our second time in this place and we will be back again. We have so many memories here, from paddling on the pond, to sitting by the fire under the stars, and waking up to play in the river. The home is so rustic and cozy, fully equipped with everything you need. I love the disconnection from the rest, so relaxing, so needed. I recommend downloading the Google map of the area so you know how to get to hikes and attractions. Perfect for kids, perfect for couples, perfect for anyone who wants a chill or adventurous stay.

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Comfortable beds, super clean hot tub and such a nice place to spend spring break. Excellent communication and very pleasant hosts. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

Ritta's condo is clean, spacious and comfortable, situated in a woodland sanctuary of peace and quiet. Loved each morning and evening of spacious solitude.
