This was a beautiful home right outside of the park - the perfect place for our wedding party to stay. The porch and hot tub area are a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and we found everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again for future trips to Fall Creek Falls.

This place is incredible. If you want to hike you have many great places to hike in a short drive. If you like to hang out in town, Sparta is a 5 minute drive to meet some locals and have some good food and drinks. If you want to just get away the house was immaculate. Very comfortable and private. As soon as we pulled in the driveway we knew how well kept the house would be. It was a wonderful trip. I can’t wait to get back to hike the other trails. What a great hideaway. The cabin was snug and cozy. Had ample room for parking and turn around. Living space was clean, uncluttered, and easy to navigate. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had all the desired equipment for making meals. The cabin doesn't have central air or heat and the time of year we stayed had cold mornings, but there were enough heaters to keep the space cozy. We did not use the fire pit, but did use the propane grill. Though the grill is supposed to be self starting, it wouldn't, but the grill supplies had all I needed to start it. The hot tub was attempted, but with little experience and light instructions, it was not a successfully comfortable attempt. Highly recommended.

when i booked penelopes cabin i was looking for one in the mountains with a view well when we arrived it was better then the pictures showed the view was outstanding with it setting on the edge of the mountain it was a place i could live in forever and for her to share it with people i cant thank them enough inside the cabin was 3 large bedrooms large living and setting rooms and everthing in the kitchen that you would need to cook or bake your own meals and the home made bread and jam she left us was very good. all the places we explored was within 45 min drive. cant wait to go back there which we will. thank you again penelope and mark for sharing your beautiful home.

We loved our stay at the Big Bottom Bungalow. It was so beautiful and very private. The place was very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location, not too far from town or the beautiful waterfalls. It was also only 1 hour drive to Rock City, which was very cool to see. Overall we loved our stay here. We only had one snag, which was the lock on the gate when we first got there. We had no cell reception so had to drive back into town to message Justin. But he responded immediately and we resolved the issue fast. The hosts were very responsive to us, and kept us in the loop on the power outage at the location before we got there. Luckily it was all resolved before we got there, but it was nice to have a heads up. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting a private getaway.

My wife and I didn’t want to plan a huge trip after our wedding so we decided to go hike at Fall Creek Falls to celebrate. Lana’s cabin was the perfect place to stay while we did that. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. We’d definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a nice private place near so many beautiful state parks.

This was a great place to just get away from it all. We were a little early for the lake activities- everything was still closed for the winter- and we caught an incredible storm that we don’t get to witness at home so that was cool- but still we enjoyed being out on the beautiful porch just listening to the frogs.

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

This was a last minute trip that was absolutely relaxing with no worries. The property is nestled inside the woods with a gated entrance and a fence. Very private and secure. Catherine was a wonderful host and was very helpful. Definitely worth the stay and we will be back!

This cabin was exactly what we needed! It was quiet, secluded without being too far from a store, cute, clean, and comfortable. Our host was super responsive and accommodating, and check in/out was very easy. We are very happy with our stay and would happily stay again if we are in the area.

This was our second stay. We went with some family we had an amazing time and made life time memories. This place scenery is something one would wish to wake up and view every day. It’s so peaceful and quiet. It’s like you live on a farm and have the place to your self. The pond won’t let you down as it has a lot of bass that are healthy and we caught some large mouth’s that weighed 5 lb plus. You can read my other review, but if want a different kind of vacation something outside the box this is the place. Sara is an amazing host. She super accommodating will help you in any way she can to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights here with our pup. It was perfectly relaxing, peaceful and had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s plenty of kitchen appliances, coffee and coffee maker, games, yoga mat, bubble bath supplies, streaming services etc I could go on and on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a peaceful quiet stay here. We will be recommending this to our friends! Thanks Anthony!

Off the grid but not far from the highway. If you're looking to get back in touch with nature this is your spot. Unplug (be aware there is NO internet or Cable TV-I missed that in the posting). There are 3 TVs throughout the 3 floored Cabin but unless you have a Hotspot (BTW streaming takes about 1 gig per hour so my 5 gig hot spot was done within 24 hours of a 1 week stay because I had to work) or a blu-ray player to watch movies they are useless. Otherwise the views from the cabin are breathtaking. The complete 360 wrap around porch gives you all the angles you could want. The living room, dining room, kitchen are open concept with cathedral ceilings with TONS of natural light. My son spent hours playing pool in the walk out basement. The driveway is very steep but I was able to get up with a little difficulty and park right at the bedroom exterior door. The host was very receptive to messages and went out of his way to help with any issues we had. Lovely Southern Hospitality.

The home is absolutely beautiful, with all amenities you may need for a stay. Very private and host was responsive in a timely manner. Jeffrey was accommodating to an additional request. I would definitely recommend this vacation spot and I plan to go back myself.

This is a beautiful cabin set at the edge of the woods. The space was very clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed being in nature but still a short drive from the city. The hosts are wonderful, provided good pre-arrival and checkout instructions, and provided quick answers to any questions.

The cabin is really good. We all like it! It feels like visit gramma in summer moments. The interior is beautiful and peaceful.

We stayed at Eli’s cabin and had a wonderful time. The description was accurate, the house was spotless, well-equipped, and comfortable. Eli was friendly, responsive, and available whenever we needed. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway in this beautiful area!

Place is very clean and quiet. Tracy was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely lake cabin. Lots of separate spaces, TV's, and beds for a group. There was a lovely basket with s'mores making goodies and wine. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy all the lake activities.
