Relaxing Country Getaway- come hike or just R&R

This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters and trails may not be available Important: please read the house rules before booking with pets. We do also have a pet fee.

Our home is just minutes from Dillon state park and campground, Lazy acres campground and Black Hand Gorge Nature preserve. Located between Newark and Zanesville.

We are situated near I-70 and, Dillon State Park, Blackhand Gorge and The Wilds. Bald Eagle, Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, Squirrels are in the area.There's golf, wineries and breweries nearby. You'll love the coziness and privacy of the place. This place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travelers. Located on 60 acres of private property with access to hiking trails throughout the property surrounded by 7,632 acres of Wayne National Forest with Wildcat Hollow Hiking Trail and Burr Oak Lake State Park. Also near Tecumseh Trails Offroad and Baileys Trail System MTB. “NO GLITTER” AWD/ 4WD vehicles recommended. 21 year old minimum age limit Our cabin is not suitable for infants/children No pets

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Start your day watching the sun come up over the river. Maybe take your boat and head out on one of the best stretches of the Muskingum River. Or spend the day relaxing in the hammock in the sunroom. Play some Cornhole with our set in the sunroom. Have fire in the riverside fire pit and cook some hotdogs for the kids.
