Frank and Martha’s place is super cute. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house has lots of open space and is a short drive to all the essentials. Frank’s and Martha were very communicative and accommodating leading up to my stay. Highly recommend!

Lisa was such a wonderful host. She was great at communicating with me and was flexible with letting us check in a little early. Such a beautiful and lovely house our first time there and it felt like home. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and the playground. She had everything to entertain our kids. She had toys, coloring books, baby gate and high chair and also baby monitor. I would definitely recommend staying here we would love to come back for more family trip.

Serinas home is comfortable and welcoming, as is Serina. Helpful always responds quickly and personally attentive. Easy access to everything, you can literally park the car and walk to everything. Beach 3 min. Shopping and restaurants less than 10 min. Groceries 15 min. Or you can drive and not enjoy the weather :)

Great place, very clean, close walk to the beach!

Our family of 6 stayed at Matt's place for April break. There was a ton for the kids to do! We were able to open up the back door and let them run! There is a small private beach, volleyball, disc golf, a grill, a deck with chairs on the property itself. It's very private and peaceful, the sunsets are unmatched! It is also minutes from anything and everything you could need or want to do! The house itself is open, super clean and comfy with a view of the water. Check-in and out were a breeze and Matt was always just a text away! I highly recommend a stay if you're looking for peace and quiet with a side of entertainment! We will be back!

The location was perfect for our trip. We travel with our dog. We needed a pet friendly place and this was perfect. Everything we needed was there to be able to cook and rest from being out shopping and fishing. The property appears to be 30 to 40 years old and a good bit of repairs and or updates are underway. Typical for a costal property. Appliances in kitchen are updated. View of water is un obstructed. The dock/pier is solid and comfortable to walk on and fish from. We enjoyed having the grassy yard for our dog to enjoy. Very quiet places during our Thanksgiving stay. We would book again if it is available and look forward to it.

Tony and Jeanne were wonderful, responsive hosts and their house was perfect! It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture and an amazingly well stocked kitchen! The view from the back porch across the water was so peaceful. Check in was easy and the location was just right. We visited the area to see the swans and snow geese as they gather in their wintering location and were treated to quite a display! Thousands of birds at Lake Mattamuskeet and Pungo Lake! We would love to come again and stay in this house, in warmer weather or cold! Well worth the trip! Thank you Tony and Jeanne!

The family met at Jim’s place to celebrate an early Christmas together. There was room for all of us. The kitchen contained all the necessary essentials. The town of Washington provided excellent choices for a dinner or two. I don’t doubt my choice in choosing Jim’s airbnb!
