We had a lovely stay at this magical desert retreat. The layout of the home was perfect for our family of three, and our labradoodle, who had his first desert adventure. We especially loved the decks…both the private ones off the bedrooms and the large main deck. There was so much space to relax and take in the views. The design of the home is seriously impressive. Every detail feels intentional. It’s one of the best-stocked places we’ve stayed. You’d need at least a week to make full use of the kitchen appliances and all the entertaining options. We spent time lounging in the hammocks and on the couch, just staring at that massive mountain of rocks. The hot tub was perfect when the evenings got chilly. Our daughter loved doing the puzzle, and we all appreciated the great selection of games and books. Truly a special place. I hope everyone treats it with the care it deserves.

Very clean, great secluded location far away from the highway traffic but still close to the main town. Make sure to check out Luna Bakery and the shops in Yucca Valley. We made use of the cowboy pool and hot tub, then watched the stars at night. The property is very large and adjacent to a nice trail leading to the mountains. Only room for improvement would be providing an extra blanket for the cold desert nights.

We had an amazing stay at this place during Coachella weekend! The house was peaceful, clean, and had all the little touches that made it feel like home. an hour from Coachella but still worth the price i paid for!

We got ready here for our wedding and it was incredibly beautiful. Everyone loved the overall vibe and style of the place. We were able to split the two sides of the place between groom/groomsmen and bride/bridesmaids so that we didn’t bump into each other. It has lots of parking space! And it’s tucked away in its own corner and has its own driveway. Nice and private. Jacuzzi worked well. Just a few things here and there (ex. some hairs found in drawers and in bathroom, a bit dusty in some areas, and also both chairs in the home were falling apart when two different guests sat in both of them- nobody was hurt so it wasn’t a huge deal) Overall, it was a great stay and I would 100% recommend! It was a little tricky finding the driveway with Apple Maps at first, several guests were lead down a slightly different turn, but we ended up finding it eventually! Only a 5-10 min drive into town in Yucca Valley! The place is super cute and it was a great experience overall. Thanks for the stay!

The High West House is the perfect destination for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in the desert near Joshua Tree. There are stunning views of the granite boulders from nearly every room. The house is well-stocked and the added amenities of the hot tub, game room, and cowboy pool are a special treat. The most difficult decision you will have as a guest is which view to enjoy while sipping your morning cup of joe.

Beautiful location and outdoor amenities! Very private and peaceful. Definitely a fun flashback in time that even my two teenaged boys enjoyed. All the small details were noted and giggle worthy. The space was much larger than anticipated and can easily accommodate a family or other groups. Close to shopping, food, rock exploring and off roading. Nicol is a fabulous host who went above and beyond expectation.

our family had a great time it was convenient we were able to start new memories and enjoy our quality time with each other. Now we're headed into a new journey of life without my brother but we will always have the memory of this weekend. Thank you

We had a delightful stay - the home is beautiful, modern, and cozy. The pool and outdoor areas were lovely and well maintained. Though there are neighbors nearby, the location feels entirely private. We appreciated how remote it felt yet that it was still within reasonable distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and Joshua Tree National Park. Communication with our hosts was seamless and easy. We hope to stay again in the future!

OMG what a beautiful home! It was perfectly clean and generously equipped. The master bedroom was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Exquisite view from the back deck, very relaxing. We will book this home again. It is the nicest place we have ever booked in Big Bear. We have booked in Big Bear several times before, for a bit cheaper, but they weren’t nearly as nice and impressive. Worth the price that was asked. Thank you Bryan. An awesome host. Dog friendly, beautiful home with an amazing view and friendly host. We were warm and comfortable during the storm.

Pleasant stay and responsive host. Plenty of room for me and my 3 teenage kids. Board games were available (Risk is the best!). I’ve read other reviews about the dock being under construction or something, but we found no such issue. We fished off the dock and caught (& released) several blue gill. Recommend small Rapallas with natural colors, trout imitators. They couldn’t resist.

Loved the house—it definitely had that cozy cabin feel. Yuri was very responsive and helpful, and he made sure the utilities were all set up. Enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway!

This has been one of THE BEST Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. Jennifer is an amazing host, it was great to be able to ask a real quick question and get answers that were not only helpful but quick! This place was so roomy and our whole family enjoyed their stay! We were able to sit and eat and be together even with so many of us there. The rooms are split on the 3 floors, two masters upstairs, one on the main floor and the built bed room and the two Jack and Jill rooms down stairs. Most rooms had access to a balcony which was wonderful as well! Enjoying our mornings out on the balcony with our coffee was AMAZING, you can’t beat the view. We loved it so much we were tempted to stay longer! Definitely will be staying here the next time we come to Lake Arrowhead!

My son and I had a wonderful time. We met John, the manager of the property, and his wife Dezi, they made our vacation unforgettable. Extremely kind and friendly people. The best host experience in my 15 year Airbnb history. The condo was quiet for the most part. The bedroom facing the street had car noise, but the rest of it was quiet. It was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed and 1 block away from the village. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks John and Dezi!

We stayed for my birthday trip and we absolutely loved it, bigger than we expected and so much to do! We needed somewhere with plenty of amenities for our group of 12 adults. The game room, spa and patio is where we stayed most of our trip! Plenty of beds and even had spare mattresses tucked away to use. Absolutely loved the early and late check in/out times, that’s practically unheard of on AirBnb! Michael was super nice and responsive whenever we had questions before, during and even after our stay. The only tiny con of the whole stay, which most of us didn’t mind was the floors and walls are thin so if anyone is sleeping downstairs while people were still upstairs you could hear it very clearly. But we would still book again 10x regardless! One of the best annual trips our group has had

The house is well kept and the surrounding area is beautiful and private. The amenities were just what we needed and were also kept clean. On top of that there was a wide selection of different spices and seasonings provided by the host. The instructions provided on checking in and how to get to the property was clear and simple to follow. The drive to Palm Springs and Joshua is close and the surrounding towns offer great places to stop by and grab needed items. This house was perfect for our itinerary!!

You won’t be disappointed booking this amazing house. The house is very spacious and is located at a great location. We were walking distance to Snow Summit and other shops. The place came with nice amenities and we had a great time.

This was the perfect stay! I knew the photos made it look amazing, but it was somehow even better in person! Will definitely be booking again next year!

Our stay was very pleasant, comfortable and safe. My seven sisters and I get together every four months . We loved this home and we shared our great times and beautiful family memories together. It was very welcoming , very spacious and we enjoyed every minute here. We’re looking forward to return next year God willing.

Easy check in and house was very clean. Host was responsive and accommodating to modifications we needed for our stay. Location was convenient due to its proximity to the freeway and food.

They were amazing. I had a hiccup with the shower, and they came to fix it right away! (Amazing shower btw) Also, I got the flu while I was there and they made it so easy to tack on an extra night. Thank you guys! I’m so grateful for that space.
