My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Terry is an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and more for the perfect stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so charming. We would absolutely book again and recommend anyone else to do so!

This is a great place to stay and relax. Tim was very responsive and proactive. We were checking in the day after a bad snow storm and he contacted us right away to let us know how the roads were and what to expect. Since it was snowy and cold, we did not get to use the amenities. But the house is located right next to the kayak launch area and it was a very short drive to the pool/club house. We come to this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

This was an AMAZING place! I wish we had more time here. Picked up pizza from a cool place called The Silos. Pool is seasonal and opens in May. Very quiet, peaceful area. We had the beach all to ourselves. Lots of amenities like various shampoo and conditioners, coffee, plastic bags, blankets, books, and games. It was easy to find and get into. I hope we can book again someday!

Our stay was so relaxing and in close proximity to downtown New Bern. The mornings were so quiet with birds singing. We would definitely stay here again.

Lisa's place was exactly as described. The home is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Lisa takes great care in making her guests feel welcome. We arrived to a chilled bottle of wine and some delicious muffins. The location is perfect for easily exploring the town of Oriental. Our only wish was to have been able to stay longer. We will definitely book another stay when visiting the area.

Fantastic place, really feels like a home and not a generic rental place. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could ever think of. The train running out front is great for kids (runs daytime on weekdays only). Beds are massive and comfortable, the house is well insulated and fairly soundproofed, and the side porch is great for coffee and people watching. Location is great, right on the edge of all the restaurants and bars with an open grassy area on one side and quiet neighbor on the other. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Easy to follow instructions, the house was clean and in order. Sarah was very polite and quick to respond to any questions that I had.

Maria’s home was well appointed. It was a short stay for me so I was unable to take advantage of beach chairs and boogie board that were available. There were plenty of plush towels and the kitchen was well stocked. I appreciate her attention to her guests needs. There was a Keurig, drip coffee and a French press coffee makers as well as a bean grinder. I would definitely stay again in Maria’s home again.

We came across this newly built property not too far from the house which was recently sold. The location was super convenient for us. We were close to the kids school while also conveniently located within walking distance to food and supplies. It was very clean and we were super appreciative of the special accommodation from the host. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were in town to visit my son at Cherry Point and this was a perfect location for such. I will 100% be booking here for our next trip (if they’ll have us).

The cottage was an oasis with beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces. So peaceful. Short walk/shorter drive into downtown New Bern and an hour from the beach. The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful.

We loved our stay here. We all felt right at home. The location can't be beat - only 5 minutes by car to downtown New Bern and all of the sights. This is a nice historic neighborhood and we enjoyed time on the big front porch and the back porch. I really appreciated that there were LOTS of Keurig pods, including decaf! No need to buy coffee although there was also a standard coffee pot in the cabinet if you have a different preference. There was one comment in our group that the downstairs bed was too soft for her preference but that everything else was perfect. The upstairs bed was perfect for us. The little nook in the front of the upstairs hallway was a great place for a book and morning coffee while everyone else was still sleeping. This home has a great combination of spaces for time together and apart. Kitchen had everything we needed. And we appreciated having access to local channels to watch the NCAA championship. You really can't go wrong with this beautiful home!

What a beautiful historic home! Perfect to visit the historic town of New Bern! We felt like we were stepping back in time, staying in Peter's lovely home filled with antiques. The house may be old but all the amenities were modern and plentiful. We had more than we could need! We highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

5 Stars – Absolutely Exceptional! From the moment we booked, the hosts’ superb communication made the entire process seamless and welcoming. The home itself is absolutely beautiful — spacious, meticulously decorated, and every detail thoughtfully covered. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thanks to the comfort and care put into this space, our family was able to enjoy an unforgettable trip to Jacksonville, including meeting the new great-grandchildren (twins!) and celebrating five generations together for the very first time. The hosts’ outstanding customer service and the pride they take in maintaining their home reflect exceptional hospitality. Great location, central to all the different towns around the area. Spacious and comfortable, easy access to highways and the bonus was the Mum Festival in New Bern. Great area and great people!!!
