The cabin was absolutely lovely. So clean and cosy. Pleasantly surprised to find things like blankets, little led candles, big fluffy towels, lots of board games. It was very comfy and homely. The location was very peaceful. Not much for children to do outside the cabin itself, but we expected that - would recommend bringing bikes for kids. We had nice sunshine to enjoy the outdoor decking & seats to see the sun go down behind the trees. Jean was very friendly and quick to respond.

A peaceful countryside stay with amazing views and lovely animals — the horses and llamas made it extra special! The house was cozy and clean, and the Jerry was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return

We had a lovely 3 night stay. What really made it for us was Laura and ash’s kindness and warmth, the location and the beautiful outside space including the great hot tub. It’s such a peaceful location with country/woodland walks from the front door but villages/amenities within easy reach. There are loads of lovely places to visit within 30 mins drive. The chalet is exactly as shown in the photos. It’s not brand new but was warm, comfy and clean with everything in good working order. We all slept well. The shower is not the most powerful but we found it fine. I think it’s really good value for what is on offer.

Amazing stay! The place was immaculate, lovely living room area, well stocked kitchen and cosy bedroom. Looks even nicer than the photos! Lots of nice little touches like milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee, blankets and a speaker. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony overlooking the countryside view. Will definitely be back!

We had the best stay at this beautiful home! Amber was a great host and went above and beyond for us. The trampoline in the garden was a great extra we weren’t expecting and the kids loved the playroom too. The location is a bit out the way so need to drive to shops 10/15 mins but the village is beautiful and really couldn’t fault it. Would return & definitely recommend. Thanks again x

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. We have had such an amazing stay. The hut is just stunning, very clean and welcoming and the little added touches chocolates ,Prosecco, fresh milk in fridge just made all the difference so thank you. We have had such an amazing relaxing stay so peaceful and private. The hot tub was lovely. Local restaurant walking distance and service and food great. We will definitely be returning soon and have already recommended to friends. If you are after a nice relaxing break then this is it.

1st class communication and welcome from our hosts. One minor hiccup was solved quickly and completely. Loved the hot tub and walk-in shower. We also appreciated the welcome pack and gift 🥰
