Perfect location right near the entrance for the old town

Wow! This was one of the best outfitted, beautiful properties we have ever stayed at. Dortea was a fantastic, responsive and helpful host. We were just in Amalphi and this location rivals the Italian riviera with wonderful views and Taromina just on it's doorstep. It was easy to walk to Isolabella and the bus and cable car were convenient for travelling to Taromina. The hot tub this time of year was wonderful. Thank you Dortea for the wonderful orientation that allowed us to make the most of our time in this beautiful part of Sicily.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine en famille en Sicile. Zuzana et Alessandro sont des hôtes au top. Accueillants, gentils, et toujours prêts à nous donner de bons conseils pour des visites. L'appartement est vraiment très bien situé, propre, bien équipé et le jardin est magnifique. Bref, nous recommandons !

Alloggio grande e confortevole, molto pulito. Comodissimo a tutte le spiagge limitrofe. Vicino al centro e parcheggio sotto casa sempre disponibile. Consiglio vivamente a tutti gli ospiti.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Der Blick aufs Meer ist atemberaubend, die hintere Terrasse eignet sich gut zum Grillen. Es gibt sogar einen Pizzaofen, den wir aber nicht benutzt haben. Der Pool ist klein, aber zum abkühlen und zur Massage gut geeignet. Das Haus war super sauber und Chiara ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Brilliant location in the heart of the old city. Beautiful space. We loved the terrace, especially. If you want a vibrant, spacious, attractive place then book this!

Hey Steven, Please copy and paste the following review for Alberto. I promised him and I still need him to set up a zoom interview for Courtney. Great trip!!! The villa was spacious and comfortable. It is situated high on a mountain for a spectacular million dollar view. You see the hilly town of Mascali and the beautiful ocean. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus. I rent Airbnb’s all the time and never had a host like Alberto. I now have a new appreciation for the term “super host”. Alberto was like a friendly concierge. He set us up with everything we needed from car rental to airport transfers and excursions, to a great in-home massage therapist, and even showed us how to make our own pizza in the outdoor pizza oven at the villa. Thank you Alberto for making our trip complete. We highly recommend Villa Bellavista Etna and Alberto. While staying there I recommend a trip to Siracusa and to Mount Etna.

Excellent place to stay. Sebastiano was excellent host, reacting very quickly on any question. Beautiful small beach Very close, apartment very comfortable and well equiped. Very good position to explore south east “corner” of Sicily.

C’est avec plaisir que nous avons séjourné chez Lorenzo. Le lieu est vraiment paisible, calme et reposant. On peut y flâner tranquillement, choisir le meilleur endroit pour se poser prendre l’apéritif, en ayant le plaisir de déguster le très bon vin et le saucisson produits et offerts par les propriétaires. La maison est de plus à 15 minutes de l’aéroport de Comiso. Notre seul regret est que le temps ne nous ait pas permis de profiter de la très belle piscine qui est une véritable invitation à la baignade ! C’est une très belle adresse que je recommande !

Krásně sicilský vybavený prostor. Teráska u každého pokoje. Velká prostorná vybavená kuchyň taktéž s teráskou. Kamene stěny i podlaha, bez topení dost zima (v březnu). Jedine minus - plíseň na stropě v jedné ze dvou koupelen. Sousedství celkem hlučné. Okolí vlastně celkově příjemné, přímo pod Etnou, tak to je parádička a Giarre je malé městečko ne tolik turistické, takže člověk zažije takový běžný den obyvatele Sicílie.

Breathtaking view, calm countryside and yet right in the middle of all the places you’d want to see in north-east Sicily! 🤍 (e.g. 30 mins by car to Taormina, 30 mins to Alcantara, 50 mins to Etna-South) We got to spend five nights in Andreas lovely lava stone cottage and wished we had booked more :) The cottage is quite up the hill but definitely worth the ride. We had everything we need and more. Andrea is a wonderful host and provided us with great insider tips about the area. 10/10 would book again (but definitely prepare better against mosquitoes)

Majutuskoht on hästi askeetlik kuid kõik vajalik on olemas. Küll aga tuleb ise osta tee, kohvi, pesuvahendid ja muud igapäevatarbed, mis paljudes majutuskohtades on olemas. Seega pikemaks peatumiseks sobib hästi. Asukoht see-eest on suurepärane. Väga lähedal Piazza del Duomo, supermkarketid, rongijaam, bussijaam - kõik on jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Omaette majake annab mõnusa privaatsuse ja hubase olemise.

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine à 6 personnes dans la partie a l étage de la maison. L appartement ne correspond pas tout à fait aux photos puisqu une chambre a été ajoutée dans le salon … mais la pièce de vie reste très spacieuse. Il n y avait pas de volets ( et pas de rideaux opaques dans le salon) ce qui est dommage quand on dort dans le salon et que le soleil se lève a 6h … et surtout pour couper du soleil quand il y fait très chaud . La cuisine n était pas suffisamment équipée plutôt rustique Heureusement que Sonia s est montrée réactive à nos demandes. La Clim était indispensable mais n est pas assez performante pour rafraîchir les chambres. Je dirais que l appartement vaut le coup pour la terrasse et la vue sur Taormina et la tranquillité s il y a du monde au rdc ( cet appartement doit être plus adapté pour un long séjour) .les extérieurs sont vraiment magiques et très appréciables en période de canicule ils sont d ailleurs très bien entretenus .

Fantastische locatie aan de voet van de Etna, met prachtig uitzicht over de omliggende omgeving. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en was schoon opgeleverd. Michela is een zeer vriendelijke host en communiceerde snel. Een absolute no-brainer wat betreft prijs-kwaliteit.

Lovely clean apartment in the historical centre of beautiful Noto. A roof terrace to enjoy the sunshine and relax and two comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen and dining area also perfect. TV's in the bedrooms, not the lounge area. Noto is a great base location to visit the surrounding area. Will definitely be back, I would recommend this apartment and Giuseppe is a good host!

We stayed 4 night in April and had the best time ever. Adele met us when we arrived and showed us around, the location is very quiet and Adele was very helpful with tips and responded quickly to all questions we had. We loved to cook, all basics were already there. The pool was ice-cold (just filled) , but worth the short morning swim, followed by a coffee in the sun. We will be back !

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

The villa was spacious, clean with great views, a pool which we didn’t use, because it was unheated and the water was quite cold, a lovely garden with pomegranate, lemon and sweet lime trees and most importantly, a friendly and extremely helpful property manager, Giorgio! He was a gem, ordered lunch for us and even went and picked it up, soon after we arrived at the villa. That evening he brought us a packet of pasta and a bottle of olive oil that they made themselves. He helped organize a lovely multi-course chef’s dinner at the villa which was delicious and reasonable. We wanted a weighing scale to weigh our luggage after all the shopping and Giorgio was right over with it! We spent 5 days there and had a wonderful time. We could drive to Modica’s town centre in 10 minutes. It is definitely not walkable as there is no sidewalk and rather steep roads. Ragusa, Scicli, Noto, the beach were all easily accessible by car, not more than a 30-45 minute drive. Thanks Giorgio and Jenny!

The location is incredible and only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and the views from the terraces are stunning. Laura was also super helpful and able to give us restaurant recommendations and make reservations. Also have access to a shared pool/hot tub weather permitting as well as a washer. Only thing that could make be improved is the shower as it’s pretty small, but overall would love to stay here again and would strongly recommend for anyone traveling on the Sicilian coast!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Jochen & Katia's place. The location is excellent, with several beautiful beaches & a supermarket all within a 15-minute drive. The nearby town of Pachino offers fantastic fish markets, cafes, and bakeries, & a 30-minute drive to Noto made for a wonderful day trip, even on a rainy day. The property is well-maintained, & the pool is a great feature. However, there were a couple of small issues that could improve the experience. The security lights in the rooms were quite sensitive, & any movement at night caused red and green flashing lights to disturb the darkness. It would be helpful if these could be covered or adjusted. Additionally, while the kitchen was generally well-equipped, a sharp knife would have been a useful addition. Lastly, our host Carla was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a comfortable and convenient stay, but with these minor tweaks, it could be even better.

The castle in Mascalucia is absolutely beautiful, very comfortable, and close to a bus stop that takes you straight to Via Etna in the heart of Catania. Claudia is an amazing host and was very responsive and friendly, and kept up to date with us for our check in. We hope to be able to return to Sicily and stay here again in the future!

Guilia's place is spectacular! It's better than the photos with gorgeous views of the sea, mountains, city and even Calabria in the distance. The grounds are immaculate with a huge private terrace for meals and drinks and a massive pool that feels like your own private resort. Giulia's family lives in the other units and were always friendly and helpful but not intrusive in the least. Even Papaya the dog knew when to leave us to ourselves lol! The interior is pristine and spacious. As many have pointed out the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk away. So you are very close to all the restaurants and shops but away from the tourist hordes. Taormina is hilly but most of the walk is relatively flat. Traffic is not a worry, we did not encounter much of it on our walks. Also, Italian drivers, although speedy, are careful and well aware of pedestrians. Giulia is a fantastic host, always quick to provide recommendations and respond to our questions. Wish we could have stayed forever!

안토니오가 소개해준 쿠킹클래스가 아주 좋았습니다. 다른 분들에게도 강추합니다. 저택은 아름다웠습니다. 방이 오래된 느낌은 있습니다. 아직 쌀쌀해서 히터를 계속 켜두어야했으나 하루 종일 틀고 있으니 나아졌습니다. 조리도구도 잘 갖추어져 있었습니다. 다만 처음에 화장실에 샴푸가 없고 휴지가 하나밖에 없었으나 요청하자마자 바로 가져와 주었습니다. 머무는 동안 좋은 시간을 보냈고 고양이들 강아지 그리고 말이 있는 전원적 환경이 매우 마음에 들었어요.

Together with our 3 year old child, we spent a total of 10 days at Andrea’s house. We felt very comfortable in the apartment the entire time. Andrea welcomed us very nicely when we arrived and showed us everything. Kindly enough, water, coffee, milk, etc. were ready for us upon arrival. The apartment and the garden were clean and well-kept and the pool was always a nice cool down for us. When our child got sick, Andrea supported us a lot and even organized a doctor's appointment with his pediatrician. Thank you very much! But we also always got a quick and helpful answer to questions and tips. Aranelle is a tranquil place with beautiful beaches and a good starting point for excursions to Noto, Syrakusa, nature reserves and other beaches in the southeast. A car is always recommendable, especially since you are further away from interesting shopping opportunities.
