Para entrar a la casa hay que subir escalones, al igual para las habilitaciones. La casa está muy limpia. Era un pequeño hotel.

My husband and I spent 10 nights at Laura's Airbnb. It was everything we hoped for and more. Our room was large and airy. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and everything is spotless. The view from our balcony was the sunset over La Ropa Bay. The pool was clean, and the flowers and shrubbery in large ceramic containers were stunning. Breakfast was a standout, from excellent huevos rancheros to perfectly scrambled eggs. The beach is a short 5 to 10-minute walk down the road. Laura was always available to help with restaurant reservations and suggestions. The restaurants in La Ropa and Zihuatanejo are fabulous. The only issue, although not an issue for us, is that if you have mobility problems, you must climb several stairs to access the hotel's main level and a circular stairway to access the rooms. Walking down to the beach is easy, but you must climb a steep section back up to the hotel. We hope to return. In our opinion, there is no need to look elsewhere.

Muy hermosa la casa, nos encantó a mi esposo y a mí. Muy limpio, céntrico, su galería de arte muy bella, sus mascotas muy lindas, Manuel y todas las personas muy atentas, cálidas y amables desde el primer día. Nos encantó, definitivamente nos volveríamos a alojarnos ahí.

Maru and Joaquin’s place is simply magical. Nestled in the hills of Playa La Ropa, it was perfectly located to walk and explore both Playa La Ropa and Centro. Be warned, the reviews are true - lots of hills (but a cheap taxi ride can solve this) and the steps up to the home are no joke. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly (thanks Sergio for carrying our bags up the steps)! We will absolutely be back!

I can’t say enough about Casa Del Encanto. Our room was spacious , colorful and delightful. The common courtyard and dining spaces felt like we were in the middle of a magical jungle, complete with butterflies and birds. The breakfasts always included fresh local tropical fruit and juice, yogurt, granola, and a different delicious egg dish each day. Laura and staff were always available for input on local activities and opportunities. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed a magnificent stay at Laura’s little paradise. It was absolutely fantastic. The room was charming and so authentically Mexican. Laura was a kind, responsive and gracious host. The breakfast was one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Mexico. The internet was exceptionally fast (over 100 mbps, ideal for remote work while traveling.) Our two dogs felt so welcome too. We loved it so much that we’re going back for another weekend in a few weeks. It has been the highlight of our winter vacation in Mexico.

Fuimos muy felices en este lugar! Barra de Potosí es un paraíso y el alojamiento es muy bonito. Estamos agradecidos con Isis por sus atenciones y los desayunos, definitivamente volveremos.

We loved our stay at Maru & Joaquín’s and would return in a heartbeat. It’s gorgeous, quiet, spectacular view, & lovely friendly staff. Sitting in the covered outdoor common area was a little bit of heaven, I could see intimate weddings up there. The breakfast was a bonus. When there were a few issues, txts were responded to quickly. The only small item that could be improved on was breakfast. A platter of fruit, gorgeous & plentiful but the plain toast was just a letdown given how beautiful the plate of fruit was. However, I would return. This was just something that would vault it into a 6 ⭐️ star stay!

This place was AMAZING! It actually was even better than I expected. Maru and Joaquín were amazing hosts from a far and have some amazing staff on site that make sure you have absolutely nothing to worry about while you’re in paradise. The place was beautiful and very clean. The views from the terrace are truly worth every penny. Breakfast and coffee every morning were also a pleasant surprise. The location was incredible— basically in the middle of all the spots you might want to go. Restaurants are abundant. The walk to the beaches is maybe 10 mins. We got used to the stairs and came to appreciate them after consuming so much delicious food all day. Everything from check in to check out was great and I would absolutely stay here again and again. 🩷

¡Gran lugar!, muy sencillo, muy cómodo y con spots muy bellos para descansar, tomar fotos o solo sentarse a mirar el mar y relajarse. Recomendadísimo.
