A casa está em uma localização excelente. Fácil acesso aos principais pontos turísticos. Conseguimos fazer tudo a pé. É bem espaçosa e com várias comodidades. A casa é bem completa. As instruções foram bem claras. Apenas uma porta na cozinha que ficou com a luz acessa na última noite que incomodou um pouco pela claridade. Um pequeno detalhe. Voltaremos mais vezes.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Precioso apartamento en casita de pueblo reformado con mucho gusto. Las fotos reflejan tal y como es el piso. Ideal para una pareja. Muy bien localizado, cerca de todo. Tuvimos un pequeño problema a la salida y Jose Pedro nos atendió muy rápido y con mucha amabilidad. Muy recomendable para pasar unos días en Évora.

A Patrícia foi sempre muito responsiva mesmo com uma reserva em cima da hora, simpática e cordial. O apartamento tem uma ótima localização, com vasto estacionamento. Limpo arrumado e acolhedor.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay. The house very special. Susana met us at check in. She was very warm and welcoming and showed us around. The space is huge! The outdoor spaces are filled with sunshine, beautiful nooks to sit and relax, an outdoor shower, comfortable patio furniture, and the inside is nice and cool and clean. She decorated it in such a beautiful way. She has thought of every detail. We wish we could have moved in. It’s right in town, so we could head out and go to the shops, and then walk back and be in the comfort of home within minutes. Thank you for a very memorable and absolutely magical stay!

Nous aurions donné un six étoiles si c’était possible… Appartement impeccable, bien situé et hôte attentionné. Des breuvages et une pâtisserie nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Nous n’avons eu qu’à ouvrir la porte pour débuter notre visite de la superbe ville d’Évora. Merci pour tout Diana. On recommande grandement cet appartement.

Numa região ainda com muito por descobrir, o Monte Poejo apresenta-se como um retiro protegido e agradável. Um espaço amplo, adequado a brincadeiras de crianças e receptivo a cães.

La casa es Maravillosa, está ubicada en el centro del pueblo, y destaca por su limpieza, y por contar con todos los accesorios necesarios. Las camas son muy cómodas. Cuando volvamos a la zona, nos encantará volver a ocupar esta bonita casa.

Gostámos muito. A piscina privativa é um excelente ponto positivo. A Maria e o Nuno foram muito simpáticos e acolhedores. Foi uma experiência muito boa e esperamos voltar! :)

Monte do Telheiro is a wonderful property in one of the most beautiful parts of Alentejo. It is surrounded by rolling green hills and overlooks the pleasant village of Escoural (less then a ten minute walk away). We enjoyed the house for a week over Christmas and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, the big dining room table and the cozy living room with its huge, well-working fireplace. Though the weather was sunny for the whole week with warm sunshine at midday, it was very pleasant to have heating in the house for the cold evenings and nights (not a given in Portugal!). Lawrence is a great host, proactive, and providing very precise information. The caretakers living on the property (in a separate house) are a lovely couple, very discreet and reliable. They even brought us a delicious, home-made cake on Christmas Eve! There is a lot to explore. We visited Evora, Montemor, Estremoz, and Monsaraz Castle. We plan to be back for a summer visit to make use of the fantastic pool.

We had an awesome stay at Edite's house. The house is located in a small village named Arez, which is an excellent location to use as a base to explore the Alentejo region. Many interesting places (beautiful beaches, ruins, historical sites, etc.) are within 30 minutes or an hour drive thus making this location ideal for day trips. The house is super super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The quiet outdoor area, with amazing views of rice fields and countryside, is ideal for enjoying an outdoor meal. The beds are comfortable and even the beautiful cotton linens were pressed! Our host (Edite) was such a pleasure to get to know as she is so personable and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxed environment surrounded by friendly people, Edite's house is the place. We've stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and this property stands out as one of the best. A huge thank you to Edite for helping to make our Portuguese vacation a wonderful experience!!!

Fabulous apartment that has been sympathetically converted into tasteful accommodation.Luisa was extremely helpful and knowledgeable both about the apartment and her family history and Evora.we were made to feel right at home and welcome and very cared for.Hope to return for another few days in the summer.

We stayed in Casa das letras and loved the place. It's so cozy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. There was a lot of space. We enjoyed playing billiard in the dining room, using the well equipped kitchen, or catching a book and relax. The playground in front was perfect for us, because we had kids with us. Straight opposite of the building is a tiny shop to get necessary stuff like milk, eggs and so on. For bigger things we went to the next town, which is about 15 minutes. We chose to stay in Carbela and this house because it's very quite and you can reach everything by car easily in less than an hour, for example Lisbon, Evora, some beaches and other interesting places. Catarina was super nice, she gave us straight support whenever we needed something. We highly recommend the place for families or people who want to calm down and enjoy their time. Hopefully we can come back some day. All the best to everyone

We absolutely loved this home. The location could not be more perfect - everything you need is within a short walk. Also the interior of the home has clearly been redone to a very high standard. Everything inside is beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal though we didn't bother during our stay as there are so many amazing restaurants. The sofas, bed, linens, etc were so comfortable and cozy. Note that there is a large municipal parking lot a short walk away. It's very easy to pull up to the house to unload all of your luggage and simply move the car to this public lot. We stayed for only 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed longer if we had the time. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality.
