We had just the most wonderful time. The cottage was lovely…so cute, full of character and much more spacious than we were expecting. The hosts were lovely and so helpful and accommodating. To be honest everyone we came across in the village was lovely. The cottage is attached to the ashleworth hub which seemed the hub of the village and all we needed as a local shop cafe and bar, restaurant. Beautiful walks, dog friendly. It was everything we needed for peaceful county escape.

If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the courtyard at HHH. Simon and Debi were excellent hosts, quick to respond to messages and extremely helpful. The property is just gorgeous in the most beautiful surroundings. Inside was everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be booking again ❤️

The Clockhouse was very clean, tidy, homely and comfortable. very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and lovely walks from the door. Louise was was great at communicating and very responsive and helpful. we certainly were considering staying on for longer but hope to return next month if available.

An idyllic escape to get away are recharge for a while. The space is well designed and has everything needed for the stay. In particular the coffee pod machine was an excellent addition. Tom was a great host and provided excellent communication.

I have stayed with Daniel a few times and always enjoy my stay. 10-15 minutes walk from City centre and 5 minutes from Kingsholm Rugby Stadium. Lovely self contained 'apartment' set in a beautiful garden. Daniel has a beautiful dog too... Looking forward to my next stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cottage in the woods. We were there for over a month, and it was everything we needed—clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything to make it feel like home. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and we especially loved taking daily walks in the woods just behind the property. It was the perfect escape and exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway!

Lovely place, so close to the town and walks around. Down side parking as had to park in a long stay carpark, but it was cheap and close to house. Everything else in spitting distance. No outside area apart from a really small shaded area.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Little Retreat, it was just as described and even better than the photos. Great communications from Wendy, with clear instructions for our stay. The property was spotlessly clean and furnished and equipped to a high standard. There was everything provided you could think of and some thoughtful extras ( Prosecco, nibbles, juice, bread and more!). The bed was super comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the cottage when not exploring the local area which is just beautiful. The pretty village location is lovely and quiet and just a short walk from the river from where you can walk into Tewkesbury. Lots of places to eat in the area, but all the equipment you need to cook your own meals if you prefer. Will be recommending this hidden gem to friends and family! Hope to return one day.
