Mat has taken so much care ensuring comfort can be found in every corner of this retreat. The kitchen was especially well appointed, with local and home-grown produce and herbs from the garden. The view is stunning and can be enjoyed from everywhere in the house. Mat was so kind to advise of where best to kayak. We saw many kinds of birds and were lucky enough to spot platypus in the river nearby.

We loved our stay at Leroy & Peter's Ocean Retreat cottage. The place is right by the main road and easy to find. The cottage was huge and very roomy for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. The place was very clean and tidy and just a couple of mins drive from the Port Campbell town which is a good place to chill. Highly recommend this property during the Great Ocean Drive.

We had an excellent stay at Mellissa’s cottage. The cottage has plenty of space but also feels cosy and is well stocked with everything we needed. We had a great stay!

This property was our family's favorite during our trip to Melbourne. After enjoying the sunset and the scenic view of the Twelve Apostles in the evening, it only took us about 10 minutes by car to reach this charming town. The house is located above a restaurant, but it was actually very quiet. The layout of the property is excellent, with plenty of space, including a huge open kitchen, dining area, and living room that offers a direct view of the bay across the way. Free parking is available on the street, which was very convenient. The bay and the pier are perfect for leisurely walks, and we even saw people surfing and swimming. The house is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it warm and cozy. In short, our whole family loved it so much that we didn’t want to leave.

Port Cottage is a coastal gem — cozy, clean, and full of character. Just 12 minutes from the 12 Apostles and other scenic wonders, and only a minute from all the main restaurants and shops in Port Campbell, it’s perfectly located. The fireplace, vinyl records, and ocean-inspired décor give it a warm, artistic vibe. Everything was spotless, well-styled, and thoughtfully curated. If you love photography or care about your social media feed, this place is a dream. Bring extra outfits and set aside time — every corner is photo-worthy. Clear instructions, smooth check-in, and wonderful communication from Mellissa + Georgie, Phillips and family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish, and memorable stay.

Our stay has been a pleasant one. The cottage is clean and neat, and the service is outstanding. We were surprised that Denise had provided us with snack, breakfast and drink in the fridge. It was really helpful especially when it was very quiet during Easter holiday. The cottage is located in Derrinallum, which is a small town with good driving distance to various attractions. Good place to stay for a quiet retreat or to visit various attractions

The view from the living room is excellent, and there are 5 rooms with double/queens/kings bed so can fit in large group of people and the rooms are cleaned. The host is very nice and responsive, clear instructions were given. The quality of the TVs are good compared to other airbnbs I stayed in before. They have even provide high quality coffee beans with a breville coffee machine, which not a lot of hotels or airbnb would have provided, we enjoyed a lot for the stay! Location is also good, very close to the nice restaurant and the beach, just few minutes walk will do.

Wat een prachtige plek aan de Great Ocean Road! Mooi centraal tussen Apollo Bay, Cape Otway Lighthouse, Johanna Beach en de 12 Apostles. En wat een uitzicht op zowel de heuvels als de oceaan. De cottage is vrij basic, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er incl. een lekker bed en een goeie warme douche. En het is zo heerlijk rustig daar. We zouden zeker weer kiezen voor deze prachtige plek!

We had a lovely time at Sue’s apartment. The apartment is in a great location, just a short 5 min walk to town. Everything in the apartment was clean and tidy. We even had an Easter egg waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived. Thank you Sue for having us.
