Lovely semi-rural home. Quiet enough to sit on the porch and enjoy the rural vibe. Home was functional, clean, and comfortable. Vickie was a great host. Highly recommend for a more private destination, especially in spring when all the wildflowers are blooming!

We attended a funeral which required us to get an Airbnb the last thing that you wanna focus on it during those times is dealing with a host that cannot be understanding or may come off as rude. They were honestly the nicest more straightforward people that I have ever communicated for Airbnb. The home was very clean. Instructions were very clear and they communicate with you fairly quickly if you need anything or wanted to ask them anything or you wanted to report something they were very quick and again friendly.

Had a great stay!! Quit neighborhood and deer everywhere. Walking distance to the lake and not a far drive to town. The hosts were also great and very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

The neighborhood is a bit run down. This is the nicest home in the area from what we have seen. The size of the home is great for a family! It is a quiet street and for us a good location for our visit.

The house was nice and the location was good. The house was as described. The host was always very responsive. The AC is the house works excellent! Plenty of space with large bedrooms and living rooms. New updated appliances in the kitchen, nice big dining table. The kids loved the back yard! However, I will say that if you're looking for a place to host guests for dinner or something, I would not suggest this host they did not want us to have company over even though I assured them there would be no alcohol or loud music or anything. But it's okay. It was not a necessary part of our stay for us. But if you need a place for just yourself and your family this is an excellent option! Felt very secure. And the price was very fair.

This was a great place to stay at. The house was very nice and spacious, my family had plenty of room during our downtime. My kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. Would recommend this place.

Very peaceful neighborhood. We loved the master bedroom and slept like babies. One of my favorite spots was sitting on the back patio. The garage and separate office were added bonuses and appreciated. We were a party of four adults and there was plenty of room. Angelique was very responsive and our stay could not have been better !

We loved our stay! Vicki was very responsive to my questions and have clear and complete directions for everything. The apartment was super clean, was decorated so nicely, and had everything we needed and more! I would definitely love to stay again and recommend the Highway Hideaway to anyone visiting the area!

I was in need of a place to stay and it had everything I desired. Host was quick with responding to any questions I had so I would book with her again if needed.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The house spotless, inviting, and there was a note and treat waiting for me on the dining room table. I was not expecting to have one of the most luxurious air bnb stays in temple, tx for this price! I didn’t end up cooking but the kitchen looked to be fully stocked with tons of extras. There were drinks in the fridge and a gallon of water next to the keurig for me to use. Nothing was forgotten at this place. The hosts are obviously very thoughtful, down to every last detail. Thank you for such a peaceful stay. I will be back.

Overall, a fantastic Christmas stay. Our extended family lives in the Salado area and this location was a quick drive to their place. The home was super clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. We headed out before and after dark both days we were there and the area was well-lit. Bedding and linens were all high quality and "very cozy" according to my youngest kiddo :) Our only hiccup was that I didn't see the pets under 10 lbs stipulation until the night before we left. We had to make a quick pivot and line up other arrangements for our dog. If it's possible to move that item closer to the top of the 'house rules' section of the listing that would probably be helpful for future guests. I just thought I'd seen all the rules after I'd expanded the list and scrolled, but it was the last one and I missed it. Would definitely recommend to others and will stay here again ourselves as long as we're traveling without the pup.

Fun place to stay on Lake Belton. Plenty of room, comfy beds, easy access to lots of outdoor activities. Kitchen was lightly stocked with cooking supplies, so double check what is available before you plan on cooking an elaborate meal. Other than that, excellent place!

Is not a bad place, the only thing that i would recommend is to have more towels they only had 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper other than that the place was great and maybe some newer beds

Cindy was an amazing host and very responsive whenever we reached out. The condo was super clean and the perfect location. We brought our dogs with us and they loved lying by the back door and watching the deer.

Cute and cozy place to stay

For the most part the place was great. It had some rough areas. The mattress in the front bedroom was very hard to sleep on and it was hot as heck in that room. Other then that was a nice place for the money.
