Absolutely amazing place! Wonderful home and beautiful backyard with the woods surrounding it.

We were in town for a Junior Bassmaster tournament and this house was less than 10 min from the Chicken Creek boat ramp- could not have found a better place to stay! Loved sitting out on the back deck enjoying the sunshine and lake view. Lori was very responsive with questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be staying here again if we find ourselves in Cookson again!

Dana was amazing and the cabin was perfect I would recommend any of Dana's property's to everyone I know. So relaxing!!!

Dogwood Bottoms is a gem of place to stay. If you are looking for a private place that is absolutely beautiful with the sounds of running waterfalls, this is your place! Tim is very helpful and responds very quickly! We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

We had the best weekend staying at the cabin for our trip down the illinois River. This cabin was so comfortable and mire than we ever anticipated. We will be staying here again.

We loved the cabin! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. Cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Close to lake Tenkiller and this was perfect for us since we were fishing a tournament. Janell was so helpful and answered quickly and checked on us. Would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Cabin has amazing water pressure in the shower! Great location quiet and secluded. We had the best time for a boys trip with my son

Wonderful host and wonderful property! We are a high school bass fishing family and this place was amazing. Super clean home with a wonderful location close to chicken creek ramp. Easy to get boat in and out of. Loved staying here! Hosts were very accommodating and nice!

Great cit, spacious cabin and an amazing community. Host was extremely quick to respond to each of my questions! The area is somewhat tucked away behind the dam with a great variety of ponds and short trails to hike. The home was stocked with games, good wifi and plenty of TV options, that my group of 7 enjoyed. The pictures don’t do this place justice. If you’re needing a place to stay in the area look no further than the Vaughans spot! P.S. if you’re booking for the weekend check out big daddys for some AMAZING catfish!

A wonderful little cabin as advertised. Greatly enjoyed the guided walk to the creek and made new friends from the house next door. A very peaceful space worth the investment. I extended my stay-- twice!

We rented 2 cabins (cabins 1 & 2) for the weekend and we were a group of 8 adults and we all had a bed. The pool was nice and peaceful. I will definitely rent this place again. Sol (the dog) was a nice little added bonus.

This was beyond expectation. A little snaffu in the beginning was worked out before I got there. Clean and so peaceful. Will definitely be back to Tallequah mainly due to this place. Thanks again for an amazing stay!!

We rent cabins from Holly every year and have always had an excellent stay!! The pool is nice as well especially for the kids!! We will be looking forward to coming back again next year!!!

If you are looking for a quiet place in nature that is not too far from the beaten path with a pool then you’ve found your place. A simple cabin in the woods with nice minimal furnishings and a working TV; if needed. The walk to the pool was clear and easy. The surrounding deck and pool were nice and large. We walked around the property to the creek with beautiful surroundings; including seeing committees of vultures and deer. Make sure to bring Cutter or Off for bug defense. The location was about 10 min away from local fare, downtown and floating the Illinois river.
