Docktails is where it's at. This amazing dockside retreat is indeed ten steps from the water and affords you every amenity needed to enjoy a fantastic time on or just at the water. We spent a few days on Lake Waccamaw and appreciated what Lake Life had to offer at Docktails. We were greeted by a stocked kitchen, well-appointed features throughout the home, and a community sharing-type approach to hospitality throughout the property. Hosts Lisa and Terra were very responsive to our needs and ensured our stay was pleasant. We will definitely be bringing out tails back to Ducktails next time we visit sweet Lake Waccamaw!!!

Wonderful cottage ! We had a very nice stay - if you’re looking for a peaceful get away this is the place! Karen was great to communicate with , easy check in and loved the basket of goodies ❤️

We needed a short-term rental while our home was being completed, and Brandi's home was the perfect fit. The location was ideal—close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The spacious yard was great for our pups, and the quiet neighborhood provided a lovely setting for walks. Brandi was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. If I were simply visiting the area, I would highly recommend this location, as it offers convenient access to a variety of attractions, from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington.

The view and the pier were excellent. The most relaxed me and my husband have been in a while. This is the first place we have ever stayed a second time and hopefully continue to do so, that says alot

The Fern is a magical place! If you are trying to reconnect with your inner self and let nature heal you, this is the spot!! Im so grateful to have been able to travel to this wonderful place Alissa has shared with the community. I loved everything about it— the tent, the dog friendly aspect, the fireplace to gather and connect with others who may be renting other tent or RV. We stayed two nights and wished I stayed longer!

A beautiful home! Well kept with a detailed guest book and everything you need to cook, relax, and play. The shower in the master bath is tiny but wasn’t problematic for us. Also, there is a strong dog smell in the master bedroom but some room spray masked it well enough. It is listed as a pet friendly home so not complaining just noting it. Getting in and out of the home is very easy. Michael and Kathryn have thought of everything and respond very quickly to answer questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the home, the beautiful yard, very nice outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. We only live about 45 minutes from Lake Waccamaw and go there often but being able to walk out the back door, down the dock, and get on our boat for a day of play was awesome! This is like a dream home for us! My teenager even said, “I could live here!” 🙂 So happy they are willing to share their home with us! We loved every minute!

Wow what an amazing stay!!! The pictures don’t serve this place justice! It was very clean and peaceful. This was our first time staying in an AirBNB. We absolutely loved our stay! The Host both Anthony & Elizabeth were amazing they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! They offered suggestions and helpful advice navigating the area.We would highly recommend booking especially if you’re looking to experience staying in a camper. One with all the amenities not to mention two amazing host! The location was very central to all of the surrounding beaches and shopping areas. The locals were very friendly. Recommendations if you’re planning to check after dark bring a flash light that made it easy for us to find the property as the lighting is limited in the southern areas. We will definitely book again!

We spent a week at Pebbys Place. It was so relaxing. We walked at the State Park and saw an amazing mural there. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, also the barbecue. The house is comfortable and has wonderful views of the lake. We fished, biked, paddled and enjoyed the amazing bird life from the dock and the canal.
