Plenty of walks directly from the cottage the river being just around the corner. The castle walk is 2 minutes away. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Recently fully renovated, it provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Richmond is a historic market town with unique shops, great restaurants, tea rooms and bars. It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

With plenty of walks right from the doorstep, walking distance to the 2 village pubs, village shop, and tea room. Located 5 miles to Richmond and 5 minutes drive to A1 Scotch Corner.

Dog Friendly Log Burner Lodge, Richmond, Sleeps 6

A dog-friendly lodge on the East lake at Brompton Lakes, with floor-to-ceiling windows over the water. A log burning stove warms the open-plan living area, which opens onto a fully enclosed decking with a BBQ. Three bedrooms sleep six, each convertible to twins, two sharing a bathroom. Up to two dogs are welcome, with tennis, boules and bike hire on site.
