Our concierge, Jessie, was fabulous from before we arrived in Belize. She made contact to be able to meet us at the house and was very kind helping us set up the WhatsUp app so we could communicate better. She was very helpful with getting us acquainted with the house and also gave us restaurant recommendations for the area. We were worried coming in so late on a Sunday and not having basic things in the house, but we were wrong. There was plenty of toilet paper to get us started, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, sun screen, you name it. It was so nice not to rush out to the store. Great place for a family; quiet, games to play, hammock, reef right out front to snorkel on, paddle boards, etc. Close enough to drive into Placencia for the day, but nice to come home to peace and quiet with a dynamite view.

The Freebird House is a perfect tropical vacation dream. Seriously, I cannot exaggerate how wonderful this place was for us. It's like a secluded and peaceful resort that's all your own --- with a pool, a private palapa dock, kayaks, bikes, an outdoor bar, outdoor bathtub, hammocks, and more. The photos don't do it justice! You're on the lagoon, which is preferable to facing the Caribbean because it's protected from the wind and you get the sunsets to the west. You can kayak right from your private pier. To reach the Caribbean, just cross the road behind the house. The house itself is spacious and light and airy and has floor-to-ceiling windows in every room for epic views of the lagoon and the Maya Mountains beyond. The large veranda has tons of space to gather and soak up the breezes and views. The decor is relaxed beach style, but everything is modern, high-quality, and shiny-new. It's a 20-minute drive to Placencia town, but there are also some good restaurants a short walk away.

This place is so clean, nice, great location, a lot to do with being able to use Jaguar Reef’s amenities. I don’t want to stay anywhere else when I come to Hopkins.

Our vacation was absolutely perfect, we never wanted to leave! The house was exactly as described and we wouldn't change a thing. It was very easy to check in and out, and the host was super responsive. We will plan to come back!

Great place for our group get away. Pool was fantastic. Very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. Zun was a great host and checked in with us to see how are stay was going. would highly recommend the condo!

Excellent spot to stay! Very private (there are some new units being built close by), near easy and relaxed eating spots at the local resorts. We stayed here for Christmas and new year’s as a family of 6 and had a wonderful time. This is about a 20 min drive from placencia town so I do recommend you rent a golf cart or car. Hosts are SUPER responsive and helpful- would stay here again! We loved the private beach on the lagoon and pool.

we stayed at Sunset Turtle in the lagoon. it was a beautiful and quiet spot. The kitchen was well equipped and alot of thought went into the design. A better appointed BBQ would make it easier to cook for a group as it was very small and the breeze kept blowing it out. Zun took care of us and was easy to deal with and she was very responsive to our questions. Reuban and Nester from Maya Tours was fabulous and suggested many local things to do. Overall it was a fabulous stay. Belize is a beautiful place.

Beautiful house, exactly as described. Large rooms with high ceilings, well-appointed and very clean. The outside space was great too-we loved the pool. The kitchen had anything you could think of and the bathrooms were nice. The only downside- only A/C in the bedrooms not downstairs but lots of windows and doors to open downstairs and everything else was so wonderful, the lack of A/C downstairs wasn’t a big deal. We would absolutely stay again; in fact we’d plan a trip to Belize around this house-it was that good.

There were 12 of us that stayed for about 6 nights. The staff was extremely accommodating and respectful. Brenda came every day to clean up/make our beds/and do our laundry. Manuel was our chef and did an amazing job. Even tho we came in the rainy season, we had full sun during most days. It was very well worth it and I’d recommend to anyone with a large group staying in Placencia :)

Our stay at Mission Bay Villa was absolutely incredible! The location and the home were perfect for our family. We were so impressed by our maintenance groundskeeper, Jorge, and our housekeeper, Yeymy – the villa was always spotless, and Jorge quickly took care of any small issues that arose during our stay. Our concierge, Erica, made trip planning effortless, and Romaldo, our chef, prepared delicious meals for us throughout our stay. We highly recommend Mission Bay Villa to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation experience!

We had a wonderful stay with 12 of us!! Host was extremely helpful and communicated quickly, even when we were there and had questions or needed something!! Very happy and impressed with them The house is exactly as pictured!!! I came to clean beach everyday and pool every other day. It’s hard to tell from pictures but you walk off the beach right to the pool starts stairs with a place on each side to wash sand off. Two hammocks and plenty of seating. Three kayaks with life jackets provided which we did use!! Laundry room was nice to have and contained beach and pool toys for the kids, we left some of ours there too! Rooms had all amenities listed and fully stocked, we cooked a lot and had plenty of things for 12 people! The kids were excited there were games there and each top unit and smart tv so they could stream at night before bed. 30 min to end of peninsula where all the tour things are, like snorkeling, diving and fishing. Plenty of restaurants 8-15 min drive. Not walkable.

We enjoyed our stay at Marsh Madness. The property was beautiful and offered everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We had the best of both worlds to include a swimming pool and the Caribbean Sea (kayaks provided). It was a fantastic base camp for all of our adventures in Stann Creek and the Toledo districts and it was easy to find and access. The residence comfortably housed five adults and the kitchen area was great for cooking and socializing. The balcony overlooking the sea was probably my favorite. The host was receptive and always there if we had any questions or needs. We had a great stay and hope to return soon!!!!

What a beautiful and unique building! I have never stayed in such an unusual, yet functional space. The pool was incredible, the view was amazing, and the architecture was unlike anything I have ever seen. This is definitely a place I could’ve stayed in for a week instead of just one night. Rodolfo is quick to respond and so friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to come back!

We had a group of 7 people and everyone loved the house. The property is exactly as described and was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this Airbnb. Herbert was very responsive and friendly.

We had a very pleasurable stay at Breeze of Paradise. The host was communicative and responsive, and the house was what we expected. Having a pool was great for the kids, and watching the pelicans dive all day long just out front was wonderful entertainment. We loved the large kitchen for preparing meals, and all the rooms were very comfortable for our family. We also appreciated the location being somewhat further from the towns further south, but an easy drive in.

The place was so large that our group of four could really spread out. Great for extended stays. Nice to have a few restaurants in walking distance while still being rural.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Laylo. Beautiful beach in front, nice swimming pool, quiet, safe and nice restaurants in the area! Jessie was flexible with our arrival as I thought it would take much longer to get through the airport and to Seine Bight! It was a lovely place and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cornel’s place is perfect for a stay in Hopkins. Convenient to all the great restaurants and wonderful amenities. We hated leaving & would highly recommend.
