Cozy is the best way to describe the Studio. I felt right at home and it’s a perfect home base to explore Edinburgh. I also appreciated the laundry service - I was able to pack light because you f this! As a solo traveler, I felt very safe here and Joanne and Scott are great hosts. 💚

We had the most magical time at the eco cabin, it was absolutely beautiful and Verity went out of her way to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. We will absolutely be coming back again - highly recommend!

The facilities were very clean, well lit, and well equipped. The restaurant provided good local quality food. The staff really friendly and hospitable. The setting on a Farm in nature with wildlife and birds to enjoy, and beach walking distance. Perfect holiday place, will be back again...again....

Excellent location. Beautiful little cottage studio outfitted with everything you might need. Check in was very easy and Amanda was very responsive. Would certainly stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

What can i say, we have just come home from a week at the tibbie shiels caravan and i feel claustrophobic. The view and the area is completely stunning. The caravan is exactly as shown and described (slightly dated, but homely and usable) (i also wouldnt want a bright white sterile place to stay when you have the loch and hills to come back from). Alistair and Eleanor were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much, even when they were fully booked with campers. The private little garden and gated area are just gorgeous next to the river facing st marys loch. We have stayed on site and travelled around the nearby towns and beauty spots. Weve had an amazing time....bring waterproofs. There were 2 adults, 2 big teenage lads, 2 kids and our dogs....it was a squeeze but we managed!! We will be back and we cant wait for the next adventure around the area! Thank you!

Great location for visiting local beauty spots. The views from the Lodge itself are also stunning. Compact, clean and cosy with everything we needed.

We had the most beautiful stay at the cabin this weekend. It is so magical to be in nature and we even saw deer, rabbits and birds from our little living room. The cabin is fully equipped and we enjoyed a lovely day walking before being able to cook a meal and have a cosy evening in with Netflix on the TV. It is easy to walk to Jedburgh and we had a fantastic time feeling spoilt in the magical surroundings. Gilles gave us an extra hour to check out and let us arrive earlier, he was always so responsive and kind. I hope one day to return for a writer’s retreat!

Another excellent stay at sheps hut!! Christopher is a great host..and thanks again for the chocolate bunnies left for us for our Easter stay. Hope to stay again soon!

I have no hesitation in saying this is a really lovely place and our hosts were really lovely people. We got a very warm welcome and good advice about where to eat etc. We were very comfortable in the accommodation, everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Mike H

We were blown away with the location when we arrived for our stay, Deborah and Peter welcomed us on arrival and showed us around, talked to us about local restaurants and things to do (which there was also lots of information in a folder in the accommodation with even more suggestions of things to do in the area). They were super friendly and responded really quickly when we had messaged on the app prior to our stay and while we were there. The location was incredible; tranquil with a wonderful view of the sunrise, but close enough to lots of lovely villages, pubs and Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Inside the hut was immaculate, Deborah and Peter have really thought about everything you may need and more for your stay, and the layout was spacious and designed superbly. We would love to come and stay here again!

Very fast at response ending to messages and queries. Micah's place is so easy to get the bus into Edinburgh We got a late bus back at midnight and it was super easy still. Cabs are cheap too Very private and the housing estate has a lot of birds singing and cherry blossoms in bloom making it look extra nice. The bed is single, but pulls out into a double with lots of pillows. Really comfy! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Susie's place was the best! Definitely my favourite place that I've stayed on my trip. It was so relaxing and really enjoyable. The bed was comfy. Great to have night lights for reading and blogging. Susie was always there to answer questions and gave me great advice for the local area. Thankyou for an amazing place to stay Susie. It's been a sanctuary to come home to after a long day exploring and touring.

We had a lovely stay at Nicky and Eric’s pod – it was cosy, clean, and nicely furnished with everything you need for a few days in the Scottish countryside. The space was thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nicky and Eric were friendly and keen to offer recommendations about things to do in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful cabin with a coffee shop and old railway walk right on your doorstep. Veronica was a fantastic host who was flexible with check-in and showed us around. The grounds are immaculate and great for a dog. No issue for us but worth noting there are some chickens kept on site should you have a reactive dog. Equally great for little ones’ entertainment. Cabin has everything you need and a communal microwave/hob along with a trolley for ease of moving bits from the car. Really it feels like you’re home and away from technology. No wifi (great 5G signal though) and no TV so just bring a tablet if needed. For light sleepers, you can hear trucks but wasn’t any issue for us. 100% recommend and we’ll certainly be back!

Had an amazing 4 days at this little cabin. Heather and Stuart were so helpful and the location is beautiful. Super private and peaceful and I felt really safe even as a solo female traveler. Perfect escape for someone craving a break from city life. The stream will lil you to sleep and can even act as a DIY wine cooler haha. Wanting to visit again at some point!

Lovely stay, the cabin has everything you need and is very quiet and peaceful. Lots of things round about and plenty of amazing dog walks to go on, even better that you can come back and relax in the hot tub after. Really enjoyed my trip, thank you

Enjoyed our week, peaceful place close to a few other builders but is definitely a quiet place to relax, highly recommend , bed is super cosey.

The easiest 5 out of 5 rating I will give. I booked this trip for my partners birthday very last minute (3 days before we arrived) and the host Ian responded almost immediately and was very warm in his responses. The property was very easy to find and everything was exactly how was described. Upon arrival there was a bottle of fizz, snacks and milk in the fridge, there was even local eggs from the hens on site. This was a lovely touch. The photos are very accurate and everything at the hut was how we expected it to be and more. The view shown on the pictures genuinely doesn’t do it justice! Waking up looking out at the landscape was stunning, sharing a glass of fizz watching the sunset was beautiful and at night the Star gazing was even better. I can’t recommend this property enough, it is very private and incredibly cosy when the log burner is in full flow on an evening. We had a lovely late escape for my partners birthday and I’m sure we will return in the future. Great weekend!

What a little gem this is. Amazing design with the bedroom overlooking beautiful views of the coast. The hosts were so friendly and had thought of everything you could need. Very clean and spacious with a really individual design. Very secluded spot, good location and walking distance to Coldingham. Recommend to any couple!

A great little getaway after exploring the Scottish Borders, loved how dog friendly this place was and had its own private parking. The space itself was immaculate and had a super comfy bed, would recommend for others staying in the area!
