We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! Location, location, location is what it was all about, just stunning! Great outdoor and indoor space for all of the family. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was just a pity that the hot tub was not in use, but it did not spoil anything. The only thing to be mindful of is the shortage of hot water when taking a shower, which i think has been mentioned in previous reviews. However, overall it's the most amazing location and house for a break in West Cork and we really hope we will be back one summer in the future!

Loved the house and amenities, the hydrobath and sauna are amazing and the view is beautiful. So nice chilling out in the jacuzzi looking at the mountains and stars

We had a wonderful stay at Gerard’s cottage! It was the perfect getaway. We especially loved the hot tub with the picturesque surroundings, so relaxing! It’s also super close to Clonakilty town and nearby beaches 🙌☺️

Gerard and Ann were amazing hosts. The cottage was so clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna so much. It was a really great way to end both days of our stay. It was a great location, as it is just a few minutes outside the town and very peaceful. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely like to stay here again. If really can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

Just home from a fabulous weekend at lizs place, it's a stunning cottage, liz had provided so much for us, full irish breakfast for 2 mornings, beautiful bunch of roses chocolates wine juice milk etc. she went above and beyond which we are so grateful for. the hottub was unreal and the flip flops and robes provided were a lovely touch..I can't say enough good things about liz or the property, very responsive host and checked in with us over the weekend too.. we would highly recommend a stay there and we hope to be back one day..

We had such a great time at Rosalind’s place! The house and the setting are just amazing. We stayed with our 4 children - there was plenty to keep them entertained and the surrounding area is lovely. Rosalind is a brilliant host - lots of really helpful information and communication was great. Highly recommended!!

We loved the location. It was great being able to bring the dogs with us, and go for walks to the nearby beach. The view from the garden was stunning. Finally, communication from Sarah was prompt and lots of useful recommendations for staying in the area. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The house was spacious, comfortable and set in a lovely location. The garden was a real highlight for the kids to play in. Keith was friendly and made us feel welcome from the start - we would definitely visit again.

This was our second time as this cottage and it was as good as the first time. Barbara is very friendly and helpful. She dealt with any queries very promptly. We will be back again I'm sure and would recommend this cottage for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We absolutely loved our long weekend in Annette’s cottage - it was so cosy and had absolutely everything we needed. Annette was so friendly and a fantastic host - she gave us loads of recommendations and had even left a little welcome basket of goodies. We had the most relaxing weekend - will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at Des‘ cottage. If you are looking for a modern take on the traditional Irish Cottage - this is the place for you! Super cozy, has everything you need and more. Des provided everything for a delicious breakfast and was extremely helpful along the way. Also the place has everything if you are traveling with a small child as we were. 5 Star rating is more than deserved! We hope to be back :-)

If you are looking for a cozy and peaceful place this is your spot. Jessica was really helpful - she gave lots of advice about area and island. I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night.

Pat and Gertie were warm and accommodating and Gertie’s homemade apple pie waiting for us when we arrived was a nice surprise. We stayed in the cottage with our one-year-old, and while it took a bit of creative baby proofing, we made it work! Gertie helped us coordinate bike rentals for the greenway which was a highlight of our stay.

Myself and a friend and my little dog stayed in Tracey's place for a girl's night away. The house was even better than we imagined, cosy, clean, beautiful. Lots of lovely walks within a short driving distance, perfect for a day or exploring. Tracy was helpful and responsive. We'll definitely be back! :)

Beautiful home with everything we needed for our stay! It was peaceful, easy to find, and just a short drive into Killarney center. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it!

This was the most idyllic cottage we could have imagined for our New Years stay. David recommended the best local pub for us to enjoy a traditional Irish new years and it made our trip so great. He was so friendly and welcoming and let us pet the horses. He had lots of history and insight to offer and this place is perfect for any country Irish holiday dreams!

Wonderful cottage with easy access to the surrounding countryside and sites. Kate is a fantastic host who made us feel right at home and the delicious homemade bread, butter and jam was an unexpected and very welcome treat! Will definitely book again if/when we return! Thanks very much Kate!

I stayed here with my 11year old daughter for 3 nights. The apartment was amazing and had everything we needed. I was working from my laptop and the wifi was perfect and met all our needs. The location was outstanding with lots of recommendations of activities and eateries. Amazing food at the BarleyCove Beach Hotel. Make sure to get food prior to arrival as whilst the local stores have some food, it is limited. Overall our stay was amazing, Joanne and family were so accommodating and my daughter was delighted to be invited to play with their children and cousins for hours in their garden.

Ein tolles Haus, in dem wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben! Abseits gelegen und sehr ruhig. Der Kamin war schon vorbereitet, sooo gemütlich! Palmen im Vorgarten, schöne Aussicht auf die Berge, wir kommen gerne wieder!

This was the first time traveling our 3 boys international and Gary was more than accommodating. He gave us great recommendations for the places we wanted to go as well as planning each day out. The cottage was perfect, had every amenity, and the backyard was perfect for our boys to burn some energy before bed. We gave Gary our ideas of what we were interested in then he advised us on how to get the best time out of each day without over doing it. We saw so much and everything was perfectly timed so we didn’t waste time stuck in traffic. We are so grateful for making this experience both a lot fun and painless. We definitely plan to come back and stay with Gary again and would highly recommend him both couples and family travels. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ur's House! The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, Urs was warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and at home. Lounging on the couch in front of the stove with a DVD playing was just amazing. The house itself was spotless—neat, tidy, and very well-maintained. Everything we could possibly need was readily available, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a space that is both functional and inviting. Having no wifi and limited mobile reception enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend Ur's House to anyone looking for a serene getaway with exceptional hospitality. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The house was super. The beds comfy, bathrooms spotless. The fire was ready to light, a lovely loaf of bread left and an apple tart. The kitchen was lovely, with lots to of utensils to cook with. And a lovely coffee machine. A great place to stay over night (next time we will stay longer). Thank you.
