This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

Peaceful and tranquil the birds sing in the morning. At night watch the sun set over Mount Beckworth while having a wine on the deck. The electric fireplace for those cold nights is beautiful to watch while on the big comfy couch or just to have on while watching the smart tv.

Are you looking for a place with good old fashioned hospitality, a comfortable bed with quality linen, a hot shower, and a sparkling clean space you can relax amongst trees & nature whilst visiting Daylesford. Our cosy, eclectic, homely bungalow sits on top of a large timber deck at the rear of our home that’s set in amongst the gum trees & forest with a view from every window. We provide fresh free range eggs, local honey, coffee, teas, milk & a few extra pantry staples!

The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

The Cottage @ Hedges

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Fryers Hut

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.

St James Converted Church Miners Rest, Ballarat

This beautiful converted church is seeped in history. Circa 1859 this Gothic Revival church was originally the St James Presbyterian Church of Miners Rest before being lovingly converted into a beautiful accommodation. Located in Miners Rest just 15 mins from Ballarat CBD its the perfect place to access all that Ballarat and surrounding areas has to offer.
