We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Everything was excellent except the fact that we chose the worst weather. It is a perfect getaway where you can relax in the nature. Very caring and professional host. Cozy and clean cottage. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Herb was an awesome host. Answered all the questions before hand within a matter of time , place was perfect for our weekend , also helpful to have a handbook of things to do , places to visit , local restaurants ect. Would definitely like to return in the summer for a stay on the water !

Michelle was one of the best hosts I’ve ever come across. She was super responsive, helpful and went out of her way to answer our questions and made us feel at home. The place seems newly renovated, very clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. It has a full kitchen with all cooking necessities. Great stay and will come back in the summer for lake activities!

Dylan’s place was better than anticipated. Large, well-laid out, clean, beautiful views and well-stocked. I think most impressive was Dylan himself who was extremely responsive and friendly. He is a SuperHost. I would absolutely come back,

The photos of this home looked fabulous. In person, it was even better! Stunning accommodations, gorgeous location on the water, high end finishes throughout the house and better than we expected. Extremely clean and well-stocked in each and every room. I can’t say enough about this place, we would love to return and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any of my friends or family.

We had the pleasure of staying at Jennifer’s place for a few nights, and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, offering stunning views. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Everything was really good. There were lot of amenities in the place. If anyone is looking for neat and clean place to stay, i would recommend this place. Moreover, there is jacuzzi in there as well.

We had a great stay at Sarah and Stu's cottage. The cottage itself was the perfect size and everything was exactly as described. Sarah and Stu were very responsive and helped us with whatever we needed. We were celebrating a special occasion and Sarah left us a nice welcome gift. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

My group and I had an excellent stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is as well; inside and out. The location is quiet, yet not too secluded, making the overall experience very peaceful. The home was also very clean, functional, and had even more amenities than we were even expecting! A most delightful stay! We rented Wendy and Jeff’s place for a week. The place looked exactly like the photos--beautifully decorated, modern yet cozy and impeccably clean. The cottage is located at the end of a peninsula, with spectacular views in every direction. It was private and peaceful. Thoughtful little details throughout the cottage make this place stand out. We especially love the helpful notecards with instructions on how to operate the coffee machine and other amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were also well-stocked. All these things add up to a very comfortable and wonderful experience. We highly recommend !

Carol’s place was exactly as described—serene, simple, and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. The photos don’t do it justice! The space was clean, with fresh linens and thoughtful touches throughout. It was easy to find, tucked in a quiet spot close to walking trails and a short drive to Midland. My boyfriend and I loved taking an evening stroll and catching a stunning sunset by the water. Carol was great with communication—very responsive before check-in and after we left. We didn’t need to reach out during our stay since everything ran smoothly. The Wi-Fi worked great, we enjoyed Netflix, played games, and really settled in. The couch and bed were comfy, though we spent most of our time outside! We especially loved the bird-watching window, the backyard firepit, and the cozy, peaceful feel of the whole place. If you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city, Carol’s place is totally worth it! We hope to stay here again!

Tatiana and Tymur were wondering hosts. They really care for their guests and for their beautiful cottage. The large windows in the cottage really showcased the beauty of the outdoor space. There are many rooms with comfortable beds and three washrooms - all well equipped- which was great as we were traveling in a larger group. The kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the large family living room, they even had extra games for us to play. Everything was kept tidy and clean. We all felt comfortable and at home. The family was already asking to come back in the summer! Thank you again ☺️

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.
