We had a wonderful weekend at J.R.'s peaceful country home. The house was comfortable, and well-equipped -- perfect for our multi-generational family gathering. We spent most of the time exploring the land around the house -- the kids played in the creek and caught a salamander, we walked in the woods, played a lot of frisbee and ball. We also loved sitting on the big front porch. On J.R.'s recommendation, we also did a longer hike one day in Coonskin Park, about 40 minutes away. It got cool one evening, and it was really nice to have the gas fireplace. We also loved learning about the Samples family history. J.R. was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. We highly recommend.

Perfect cozy cabin in quiet surroundings. Morning coffee on the back porch with the birds chirping and the creek flowing was a peaceful way to start the day. Will come back next time I'm in the area.

beautiful place on the elk river. perfect for our fishing trip with 4 guys. Great yard backs right to the water. Vadenna was very friendly and super helpful!

Very responsive host. This home is in a great location for activities at Summersville Lake. It was a great home base for our group and it had everything that we needed.

We had a great stay at Luke's place. Very close to Summersville shopping center, so located at very convenient spot. The interior was well-decorated. It has all necessary amenities including heater, AC, microwave oven, fridge, coffee maker etc. The bed was very spacious, a king bed. Luke took great care of us. Highly recommend this place, will visit again.

This was an adorable tiny house. Very nicely kept, clean and the fire pit was a huge plus. The house was clean, host was fantastic and the town is super cute (Honeybee Coffee and Donut house right down the street was amazing!). Probably the only caution I have... If you are 6ft or taller you may want to find other accommodations. The loft ceiling is very low and the kitchen and shower also have a pretty low ceiling. This was not an issue for our stay since we were both under 6ft, but I was not expecting it to be quite as small as it was. But overall it was a lovely experience.
