I had a great stay. The place is very easy to find and in a great location. Was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was. Would highly recommend staying at river romance.

My friends and I had the best time there. They were accommodating and hospitable. And closing they day by sitting with a view of the lake was beautiful. I would strongly recommend to anyone going to Augusta National!

Mervin was an amazing host and his Airbnb was perfect. You have an amazing view right on the river, great restaurant underneath the listing and all around the location. Everything is walkable and convenient. We felt very safe and the place was clean and comfortable.

Larry was great. He took the time to meet me and make sure I had everything I needed. Definitely a place worth staying. Peaceful and cozy.

Very relaxing location, and cozy house

This is a great little place to stay. My wife and I in several of our friends stayed here for a couple days. The super restful and the lake was beautiful, especially in the morning when the sun came up :-) Maighen and Shawn we're super friendly and communicative. We would definitely stay there again if we're there :-)

It had everything we needed and more — truly convenient and comfortable. It was just what my Sorority Sisters and I needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend!

Everything was as listed. Nice and clean. Modern furniture, fixtures, and tile. Made me feel at home but in the country. Would stay here if I could every time we visit.

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. We had a an unforgettable time. House is old but very comfy, had everything we needed. Beautiful view from the porch, we had an amazing boat ride, house felt like home and safe. I loved that we were have my bridal shower and able to accommodate my guests. Dewey is good people, I can't wait to book it again in the future. We highly recommend this place!!!!

We were so happy to be able to book this place on such short notice after having our original stay at another lake house cancelled by the host at the very last minute when we were already on the road traveling with our small children and friends. Tony was very accommodating and made what would have been a ruined trip very nice and enjoyable. Thank you so much!

Perfect place to stay for a Mom's weekend visiting our Clemson students! We enjoyed the dock and the pool and it was an easy 10 minute drive to downtown and campus. Great place and Go Tigers!

A convenient and comfortable place to stay close to Clemson. We were down to visit a student and thought that this was a great alternative to trying to stay in a hotel with a family.

Excellent stay at Jacqueline’s place. Very clean and welcoming. Nice neighbors. Easy instructions including check in and check out. Everything as described including the number of steps to walk up…lol. She also responded quickly when we requested a last minute reservation.

This spot was amazing to stay in and we would absolutely visit again. Close enough to downtown to have fun but far enough away that you felt like you had a private space in the woods. The upstairs swing was pure bliss with a cozy, fluffy blanket on a brisk morning. The only real issue we ran into during our stay was with parking. The garage only fits 2 cars comfortably and we had 3. The person with the most reliable E brake gets the hill! Also, bring your own toiletries. They weren't provided and the local store is a little pricey.
