Beautiful cabin! Close to great hiking at Daniel Boone and Natural Bridge.

Great place for a relaxing and private get away at the gorge!

This cabin was a great getaway! I loved the open but cozy feel of the space. We only had two people staying, so there was plenty of space for sitting by the fire, around the table etc. Might be a bit cramped for more than 4 though. It wasn't clear from the pix, but one BR and one BA are upstairs, which is really nice to give people their own space. The roads are a bit of a challenge, so do heed that warning about 4WD if there is any sort of inclement weather predicted! Even the "paved" road is extremely steep and gravelly, and we had to take two runs to get up the driveway! On the other hand, the location is great if you want to just explore the Gorge. So many great hikes are just a few minutes away, and every drive is quite scenic. Really loved the experience here and would highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Getaway at The Aldo! My stay at The Aldo in Stanton, Kentucky, was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the comfort and attention to detail in this beautiful contemporary cabin. It offers the perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy charm, making it an ideal place to unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the hike to Sunset Point—an incredible added bonus (We loved the ropes!)! The trail was beautiful, and the views at the top were absolutely breathtaking. After a day of exploring, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was pure bliss. The time spent by the fire, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, was the perfect way to end each evening. The location is fantastic—peaceful and secluded, yet close to Red River Gorge and other outdoor adventures. The hosts were incredibly responsive and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. Brooke is an outstanding host, giving great details ahead of stay and responding quickly if questions arise. I stayed her visiting my daughter at UKy and the space was perfect for the weekend. Loved walking down the block one way for a great bakery or the other way to a quaint coffee shop and a good breakfast/lunch spot. What people say about the noisy bed is accurate but it was comfortable and there were plenty of linens, coffee pods, etc in the place. I would stay here again!

We had a fantastic time at Laura's cabin! Our son had so much fun exploring the farm, and watching the cows and goats. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee while watching the birds at the bird feeder each morning. The cabin itself was beautiful with many touches referencing the history of the cabin. We really enjoyed being able to use the farm store by the cabin as well. It was very centrally located, allowing us to easily do day-trips to Red River Gorge, Lexington, and Winchester. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this stay!

My parents came into town and stayed here for the weekend. It is a lovely space with a full functioning kitchen and great amenities. Brooke and Bob were responsive and answered all questions quickly and clearly! I definitely recommend this Airbnb, it has a lot of character and charm and my parents loved it!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Amazing neighborhood, close to everything, and such a beautiful house with a great yard. Super friendly hosts, and very helpful with local recommendations.

If the bed was replaced this place would be soooo improved. The bed runs on the small side, but the mattress was so unpleasant. The neighborhood is a little on the tough side. But the parking lot is private and we didn’t have any issues. But be mindful it’s not in the greatest area.

I had a great stay at Leslie’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood—perfect for a relaxing visit. Everything went smoothly, and communication was easy.

This is a beautiful, historic, and impressive home. Our family took a weekend in the area and greatly enjoyed staying at Barr House Inn. The rooms were large, furnishings elegant, entrance impressive, and the location with a short drive to Lexington was helpful. An added benefit was the swimming pool with a deck and chairs/tables for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. All of the bedrooms, two of the bathrooms, as well as the kitchen were on the second floor, which made it easy for family gatherings. It was a great and enjoyable weekend at this historic home.

The beds were extremely comfortable and so were the pillows- the bed linens were all new as well. The living room TV was a bonus!

Great little no frills apartment, exactly what you need for a short stay! Would highly recommend!

A great place to stay if you want to be close to Rupp and/or downtown. The place is just as it shows in the pictures. I only have two small complaints/suggestions. The lobby of the complex seems to be in a state of disrepair and is very poorly lit at night. Not a very welcoming entry at night. Secondly, I was not able to adjust the thermostat. Seemed to be a problem with the nest control. Other than these small things, the place is great and I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and being able to share meals together and the close proximity to trails.
