Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. This green two-story forest lodge adjacent to Cook Forest State Park. Owner's Note: This Lodge has a unique layout perfect for no more than 2 adults and 2 small children. The lower level has an open floor plan with kitchen and living area. There is a staircase leading up to the second floor open loft master bedroom, with a queen size bed, and enclosed bathroom. The children's bunkbeds are in an open alcove at the top of the stair way.
