what a beautiful peaceful place to stay...thankyou for the lovely cheese board and wine and crusty bread and bacon and eggs we have stayed in mintaro many time and this b&b was amazing will definitely stay again❤

10 of us had an amazing stay for a 50th weekend getaway. The communication from the host was spot on, and the property was beautiful. Sitting in the pool and spa surrounded by wide open spaces and vineyards was incredible. Would have stayed a month if we could!

We were a group of 8 friends having a catch up and golfing weekend in the area. Driving up to the Homestead you knew you were in for a great weekend. I huge fan of the architecture and the era and we were all very impressed. Large rooms to spread out, large kitchen with all you needed to cook up a feast and a bbq outside. Beautiful lawned grounds and rose gardens. The 7 bedrooms were all a good size and beds comfortable. 3 Bathrooms (2 ensuite ) were great and plenty of hot water. Only had one problem we couldn’t get the TV to work ( the boys were disappointed couldn’t watch the football). Price wise each couple paid what we would have paid for two nights at a nice hotel but this option gave us all the room we needed to gather together and really enjoy the company. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend. I will be sharing photos with family and friends. Thanks for a Wonderful stay Nick and Alexander

We had a wonderful stay in Clare! The location was perfect - just steps from the Riesling Trail and close to the main street. The house was spacious and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Cozy, cute cottage close to pubs and museums. Loved our stay, and loved the fresh eggs and oranges. Thanks.

Staying in burra to do the self guided Burra tour, this accommodation was available and fitting of getting into the spirit of the tour. We enjoyed our stay here in the middle of winter, the combustion heater and reverse cycle air conditioner kept the lounge and Mbr toasty warm, whilst slightly increasing the temperature of the rest of the house, some fire wood was supplied. All up we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if returning to burra. Communication from the host was great, making check in easy. If you are after accommodation that has some nostalgia, history, with antique decorations with a touch of early period correctness with some modern touches the this is a great stay. Really pleased we chose this accommodation to stay in whilst in Burra and would stay here again. All up a pleasant stay, great accommodation, neat n tidy, quiet, great town with amazing cafes, “must try st just cafe amazing” also cook-o-burra however this is for sale so may change. Loved our stay at the Burra train station! Absolutely beautiful. Loved the wood heater in the evening. Communication from our hosts was great. Was sad leaving such an historical accomodation ☹️

Rachel's house is really well setup in a quiet and central location. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend in and around the Clare Valley. The house was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and cosy. The kitchen is extremely well setup which suited us as, while we ate out each day, we were able to have quiet evenings eating in. Good off street parking. Happily stay there again.

The house was comfortable & accommodated the 4 adults across the 3 bedrooms. Two good areas with lots of seating to relax. Lovely outdoor areas in the front & back of the house. Sue left us provisions for a good breakfast. we enjoyed are time exploring Clare.

We have a relaxing couple is days at Ross and Gail’s place. The location is excellent. Set in the beautiful historic town of Mintaro and a stones throw to the Magpie and Stump pub - which offers a sunny beer garden and great food! The accommodation was very comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The bath (with candles and bubble bath) was a welcome addition after a day cycling the Riesling Trail. Plenty of firewood and a bottle of red. What more can you ask for l! Ross was a fabulous host and cooks a mean breakfast. We felt very well looked after but also had privacy. We had planned to take our dog with us as dogs are allowed, however we became aware after booking that dogs cannot be left inside unaccompanied. Whilst a large yard is available for times when you do need to pop out without your dog in toe, we felt this wouldn’t work for us. In the end we decided to change plans and leave him at a boarding kennels. Something to consider if you are planning to bring your dog.

Peaceful, relaxing, spacious & replete. Adrian and the property go the extra mile. Proper rural surrounds with a large country style house that is more than well equipped to accommodate a comfortable, serene & interesting stay. Communication was, at all times, prompt, friendly & flexible. The provisions provided were extremely generous & delicious. The spa, pool table, outdoor settings & the amazing artwork were like the icing on the cake. A wonderful weekend was had by all 🙂
