This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

What an amazing house, dog friendly, too! Perfect location for our family wedding. Frances was most helpful and very accommodating. Will stay again next time we visit family in Holmbridge.

We used this as a base for a couple of days cycling and it was ideal. Fiona and James were very friendly. Everything was as expected. Short (but slightly muddy) walk to a pleasant pub serving good food.

An amazing location with a very nice room for the price. Charlotte and other staff were absolutely amazing and friendly with a warm welcome and clear instructions. Food and wine at the olive branch is amazing.(ID like to know the rioja reserva name and the piot grigio too, both were excellent)would definitely stay again.

Carole and Mike are very nice, friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of advice for sightseeing around York. Carole would tell us the time for taking a bus to York City Center every day. We are afraid of being cold, Mike tried his very best to give us more heat by burning fire to send more heat to our room. We wanted to go to Sunday worship, Carole is kindly to bring us to her church by car, and we enjoyed the church service very much. It is a very quiet and peaceful place, everything is clean, and the bed is very comfortable, we slept very well there. We cooked our meals in the house, and everything needed for cooking is ready and convenient. That's really a good place to rest. We highly recommend it to people to stay there for a holiday. We really appreciate Carole and Mike, and thank them from our hearts!

I stayed with Carol and John for about 2 months from Toronto and it was an amazing stay! Everything was set up beautifully and the room was really comfortable. They were really helpful whenever I had any questions and it immediately felt like home. The house is really lovely and in a nice neighborhood - there’s a little grocery nearby that has all the basic items you might need. I’d love to stay with them when I visit York again!

Carol was a welcoming host, greeting me with a key and making me feel at ease. The room was spacious with a large, clean bathroom. I appreciated the in-room fridge and the tea and milk provided. Continental breakfast was beautifully prepared by a foodie. The location is walkable to the city, and the frequent bus route made getting around very easy. Breakfast was healthy and fresh, and I enjoyed chatting with Carol, who is well-travelled and a cinema buff. This AirBnB offers great value for its accessible location to the beautiful city of York. Highly recommended!

Helen and Mike were the perfect hosts from start to finish. I booked the accommodation last minute for the trip and with it being my 1st time in the area I had a few questions before I booked and they were answered quickly. Their accommodation was spotless, room was massive and one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept on. The b n b was a 6-7 minute walk from where I needed to be in the centre of Harrogate, from the convention centre and bars /restaurants making it ideal and they provided free on street parking tickets which was great. The breakfast was superb too and had the feeling the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. I will definitely be returning to the area next year and will be looking to re book the same accommodation again. Many thanks for making my trip good one. X

Cannot recommend this enough. I had a lovely stay in Linton, the surroundings are so peaceful and idyllic. The stay was lovely, absolutely everything I needed was in the room. Continental breakfast in the morning was terrific and the hosts were tremendously friendly and helpful! I would absolutely stay here again, a perfect spot for anyone planning a trip to explore the Yorkshire Dales!

My only disappointment is that I hadn't found this place sooner. We visit Hebden every year or so and this gas got to be one of our bedt stays yet. Flexible, easy to find, great, modern room and bathroom with lots of great little touches that demonstrates Mark doesn't take shortcuts. We'll definitely be back when we next visit. ps, great breakfast set up, with plenty of staff on hand to assist if needed. No cooked breakfast but plenty to choose from and hot tean and coffee on request 👍

A very beautiful room in a beautiful building. The bed was extremely comfortable and as this was a last minute booking, I was super grateful to find complimentary shampoo and conditioner. The room was pristinely clean too. Unfortunately our room only had a shower and not the bath listed which was a little disappointing but I still got the relaxing evening I needed. A great location for exploring Harrogate.

We felt at home the breakfast were excellent the room and house was to our expectations we would definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends. Cary and David were helpful and friendly and gave my wife and I an excellent start to our days with a most enjoyable breakfast. I would like to thank them both for making our break special.

What a fabulous place! We loved everything about our stay here. Kate is a wonderful host and has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We had a superb dinner and breakfast and even joined the pub quiz night (against our better judgement!). We’ll be back at the earliest opportunity.

Andrew is an excellent host, we arrived early and he was very accommodating with the early check in. The house was perfect for us, few minutes walk to all pubs and restaurants. He gave us some great recommendations for real ale pubs. Brilliant veggie breakfast for me and a full English for the wife. We would recommend to stay there and hopefully we'll be back ☺️. We had a wonderful time staying in Hebden Bridge. Manya and her husband were so friendly and accommodating! The house is beautiful and our room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast prepared for us was super tasty! The location was perfect and easy to find. If we ever stay in the area again we will definitely come back to this b&b, and recommend to friends too!☺️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan! Di was super helpful and responsive, the room itself was lovely, very clean, full of amenities and bed super comfy. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the pub, they were even able to accommodate for my gluten allergy which I was grateful for. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ☺️

Highly recommend. Claire's house is a gorgeous historic building with plenty of space (and as promised plenty of art!). She very kindly upgraded us to the ensuite room, just because it was empty. It was a really lovely space - spotlessly clean, bright and airy, with house plants on the mantle. The bathroom had a big cast iron tub and large shower. I was amazed at all the amenities in the bathroom - bath salts, oils and flannels as well as multiple types of body and hair washes. Claire herself was a fantasic host. She cooked us an incredible, plentiful, breakfast with what were clearly good farm shop quality ingredidents. She took the time to sit and chat with us and was a brilliant conversationalist (but also made sure we were running to the schedule we'd shared with her). She has a very uplifting personality. We would definitely stay here again. It's also worth mentioning that Tadcaster itself is a very pleasant and picturesque village with plenty of amenities.

Our Wild Rose Deluxe Room at The White Swan was wonderful- spotlessly clean, lovely decor and gorgeous bathroom with a great shower! Breakfast served in the pub with bacon sandwiches, juice and coffee was such a lovely touch as was the drinks tray with a nice range of drinks and biscuits. Finished to a high standard and a lovely bed! Our hosts were incredibly helpful with checking in, getting a local taxi and navigating the local area. Would highly recommend staying at The White Swan. It’s located in a beautiful area and is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful stay. Thank you!

Amanda and her partner are super kind, flexible and communicative. I made a booking with them for my senior citizen parents. They were there to recieve my parents at the time of check-in and helped them with the bags up the stairs to get to the en- suite room. It was the first time that my parents had stayed in a shared setup like this which is inside the host's house. But my parents were at ease after meeting the hosts. She was responsive and flexible , she arranged an early breakfast at a short notice for them, as they had to leave for London. And she took care of their dietary preferences with the hot breakfast. I am super thankful to them for being such considerate hosts.

I am not a fan of being away but being at Anne's was a lovely experience we shared a few stories and it was a lovely introduction to the house. The house was very clean and the room for me was excellent. There was a lovely comfy bed and a snack tray and the little fridge with milk was a lovely bonus for the tea obsessed (ie me). I came away from the stay with shower envy as the shower was awesome. I enjoyed meeting the cats who were lovely. Everything about the stay was excellent and positive. Thank you Anne.

We had an amazing stay at Amanda's Home. She was a most attentive host and made us feel very welcome. The house is a beautiful period property in a lovely area. Our room had everything that we needed with lots of extra touches. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was a delightful mix of locally sourced produce. We would love to return on our next trip to York.
