We selected this house for our 3 night stay for its great location, its design, and for the quiet neighborhood. The weather was unusually hot for the first week in April, and after our 4 hour walk Sunday AM (including a stop for coffee and snack) we completely enjoyed the cool refreshing pool. (Has to be really warm for some Phoenix inhabitants to choose hopping in a pool!) My husband and I slept comfortably in the king bed in the back bedroom and made one dinner and three simple breakfasts in the well stocked kitchen. All in all a very good experience. Andrea was quick to respond to our few questions, and we highly recommend her place.

Herman’s house on the beach in Chuburna is beautifully designed and thoroughly comfortable. I chose it based on reviews, its unique appearance, privacy and location away from touristy areas. Progreso, however, is 20 minutes away and offers a supermarket, restaurants etc. Having a car is highly recommended for those who want to visit points of interest in the Yucatán, such as the Mayan archeological site at Uxmal, the flamingoes in the Celestun biosphere. and various cenotes - all experiences well worth the drive. The Mayan museum in Mérida is also wonderful to visit. Herman’s onsite list was very good guidance for what not to miss. Thoroughly recommend this house. Linda

Excelente lugar en Merida para grupos grandes , nosotros eramos 15 y estuvimos muy agusto, muy cómodo, a 3 cuadras del paseo montejo, y a unas cuadras más del centro. zona muy tranquila y segura, altamente recomendable, regresaremos sin duda

Came for a girls trip and we had the best time. The house is nice and the ac in the rooms work well. We spent the entire trip by the pool and on the beach. The cabana is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the beach. We had someone cook for us while we were there and just ran to the store for snacks and anything we needed. Maria was easy to communicate with and assisted us with any request we had. This was the perfect beach getaway. I would definitely go back!

Wat een heerlijke plek. Echt aan zee waar je ook kon zwemmen echt ruim, heerlijk rustig. Aanrader! Wij waren met twee maar hadden hier ook rustig met al onze kinderen kunnen zitten. Viejo Bar is een leuke plek in de buurt (2,5 km) waar regelmatig live muziek is. Supermarkt waar je echt boodschappen kan doen (My Marketplace) is 20 minuten lopen. Kleinere voor drinken en chips zijn dichterbij. Wij hebben bewust gekozen even geen auto te huren en was goed te doen met Ubers. Komen graag nog eens terug!

The house and location were excellent! Beachfront house with beautiful views! The hosts were responsive. The only hiccup was that the pool wasn't super clean when we got there - my husband and daughter had to do some cleaning up.

Ms Maria’s place was relaxing and enjoyable. This place is strictly for relaxation and getting away. The beach area does have seaweed that washes up but it’s still nice to get in the water. We. Used the kayak and it was so peaceful on the water. The house overall is nice and it’s comfortable and you feel at home. We cooked in the kitchen as well as grilled out several times. Any issues or concerns we had Ms Maria made dude she addressed it promptly. I definitely recommend if you need to just go somewhere to just reset and relax. Progresso is approximately 4 miles from the house so the rental car helped us out a lot. There’s several large supermarket and there’s several places to just walk around and shop. We visited several ruins and cenotes. We loved it! Thank you Ms Maria and staff.

Nos encantó disfrutar las comidas en la terraza con el mar de frente. Tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar la estancia y hay sitios cerca para comprar lo que necesiten. Si volveríamos. Muchas gracias Arturo.

Miguel's place is stunning and worth the price for a great experience. Very spacious, consisting of a main house with one bedroom and bathroom and two bedrooms with a jack and Jill bathroom adjacent to the main house. It has a lovely bbq area with rows of bulbs next to a large pool. Hearing the crashing waves and feeling the breeze was priceless. at this location you can bathe in the sea and move to the pool, the best of both worlds. House is fully equipped with a water cooler that offers room, hot and cold temperatures. I highly recommend it.

We loved our time at Lulu's place! It was spacious with a great relaxing feel and lots of seating options. The outdoor patio space was like a full second living room and kept cool with the shade and the ocean wind. Car is a requirement here, but there is a great carport in the driveway. There is some construction going on but not able to hear from the house. Views were relaxing and water was so close off the porch. We caught some jacks right off the beach which was fun. We were able to Uber in and out of progresso for some drinks but order in advance if you can, the Uber took over 30mins to pick us up. We were glad to have the rental car. The kitchen had many of the necessities to cook including some staple items whoch was great not to have to shop for. We hope to come back again!
