Alice was amazing per usual!

My brother and I were Ambassadors for the BASSMASTER event there this past weekend. We were so fortunate to not have to drive to the venue every day. It was less than a block walk to me with our anglers. The Only negative was my inability to open the lockbox properly. But Dana got right on the phone and made sure I knew how to open it. Her recommendations for things to do for the wives while we were on the water was very helpful. Sagos downstairs was superb!!! I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Sister n law had chicken Alfredo and said it was the best she had ever had.

This was our 2nd time staying in the upstairs big studio unit. WE love this place as we are a USCG family and our family/grandkids are there in E-City. Great view, right on the bay, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Alice is the best, she answers quickly and is flexible about arrival times which helps when driving from Raliegh to E-City. It is a joy to stay there. We fish so love what she has done with her big boathouse on the property where you can relax out of the weather or sun and fish, socialize, watch the bay, etc. You have everything you need in there for a wonderful stay. All amenities! Sunrises and sunsets are amazing!!!!! thanks again Alice for a great visit.

Jen was SO friendly and accommodating!! I booked the Dock House for my best friends bachelorette trip; she allowed me to decorate freely & have an early check in so I could set up before the rest of the party arrived! Everything is within a 10 minute drive or an even a walk if you don’t mind a few miles a day. Neighborhood was quite, our upstairs neighbors were up one night STARTING construction at 12am and it lasted until about 2am so that was pretty annoying (especially for our stay- we were trying to relax before the wedding and that really ticked me off because it’s in the manual for the area: quite hours are from 10pm-7am so there’s no excuse, but they were quite the other nights after that so it’s fine & to no fault of Jen/Stew!) We had more than enough space throughout the house and the large connecting deck from the dinning room, to the family room/kitchen, to the main bedroom was SO pretty in the morning & perfect for our meals throughout the day! Will DEFINITELY be back!! 🫶

If you are headed to Elizabeth City, you have to stay at Harbour Place! It is immaculate, stylish, and walkable to everything in downtown. Michael is an exceptionally hospitable host. It was quiet and private as well. Slept like a dream. And he really has thought of everything. This Air BNB is top tier! Highly recommend.

Kemp was a great host and very responsive! We loved the view of the water and the house was very clean!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

I wish we had more time here! I hesitate to say it felt “homey” because sometimes that’s a euphemism for something else. But this place is truly homey; you instantly feel at ease and welcome! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

Frank and Martha’s place is super cute. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house has lots of open space and is a short drive to all the essentials. Frank’s and Martha were very communicative and accommodating leading up to my stay. Highly recommend!

We had a relaxing stay in a peaceful, country setting. The home has a cozy, private feel, and we really enjoyed the beautiful weather and quiet time by the water. Fishing was a fun bonus, and the views made for a really calming backdrop. The house had what we needed for a comfortable week stay, and the host was kind and responsive in communications. It’s definitely a place for unplugging and slowing down, and we appreciated the chance to recharge in a quieter corner of the state.

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bay House, it was beautiful and had everything we needed for a long, relaxing weekend stay. We really appreciated all the nicer finishes in the house and outside too. The view was amazing. Janna was extremely responsive and a great host. We will definitely go back, hopefully when some family can join us there in warmer weather.
