Great place, great location and John was really helpful and tentative!

We needed a rest stop and Kay’s place was perfect. Got in touch with her and she made sure everything was very comfortable. Large rooms and comfy beds really made it feel better than home. One of the very few places that offers a parking spot and that helped us plenty. The apartment was fresh and clean. It was easy to use the kitchen. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local down the road to pick up your usual bits and shops bang opposite the place in case you fancy anything right away. Would book again if coming back.

This is self-contained first-floor apartment, finished to high standard, and well fitted out with everything you’d need for a stay here. Alan and Carole are lovely people, helpful and caring, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful lodge in a quiet surrounding just perfect to chill for a few days. Excellent very well maintained little extra made this well worth the money, though we didn’t see our hosts and this is most definitely not a negative as we prefer that we also knew that if there was anything me required or needed they were on hand. Highly recommended.

This is my second stay here and it was just as lovely as the first. So comfortable and tidy and in a great location too. I really love this apartment and hope to come back in January for work :) Penistone is so beautiful! Thank you so much Ben it was lovely as always!

Stepan was a great host, always very helpful and communicative. He clearly takes pride in this apartment, everything was brand new and well maintained. The apartment itself is exactly as described, the shower is super powerful and the mattress really comfy. The only thing is, you can hear the neighbours coming and going in the hallway so pack some earplugs if this would bother you. The location is excellent, a one minute walk off the high street, 7 mins from train station with a few cute cafes nearby. I stayed for 9 weeks and was very happy.

Lovely apartment - well equipped kitchen. Up quite a steep hill but within walking distance of coffee and pubs and restaurants. Nice town and lots of good walks nearby.

We had a delightful long weekend in Karl's flat. Everything was just as we expected from the listing on Airbnb, Karl was very easy to communicate with and helped us settle in, so we felt right at home straight away. The flat is very comfortable, has everything you need, and really feels like a home from home. I'd recommend it, and look forward to staying there again next time I'm in Buxton.

We had a lovely stay at this property! We booked extremely last minute due to other accommodation falling through and were pleasently surprised by how modern, clean, and comfortable the flat was. I would definitely book again.

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

Great location for the Peak District! Lovely accommodation. Tony was incredibly responsive, gave good instructions on how to arrive and was helpful whenever I contacted him, you can tell a lot of thought has gone in to the space. The shower was lovely and powerful. Something that was really appreciated after the long walks. Bed was really comfortable and seemed much larger than a queen size bed, sheets were lovely and clean. Appreciated having a parking place so close to where we were staying. Views across to the reservoir were amazing, we took a walk across the road to it and they were lovely, beautiful nature walk along the reservoir just across the road. Peaks cavern only 40 minutes away and the b29 crash sight parking only a 15minute drive away. Would recommend this stay and will definitely be returning.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Anthony the host was friendly and helpful and came to greet us upon arrival. The apartment was delightful and the kids especially loved the mezzanine bedroom - a really exciting treat. We felt right at home and can't wait to come and visit again. 100% recommend this place for both couples and families with one or two children between the ages of 6-14.

Garden Retreat is a lovely ground floor apartment with direct access to a lovely garden. The property was spotlessly clean with lots of additional touches such as phone chargers and torch. It was actually larger than I expected. It was comfortable with everything I could need and more. A large kitchen, comfortable lounge and quiet bedroom. The shower is blissful! Jonathan is lovely, welcoming but also respectful of privacy. There if needed. It’s about a 25 minute easy walk into Belper with its shops and eateries. Lots of great walks from the apartment and Belper. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my two dogs. I do hope I can visit again.

Beryl was a wonderful host! We stayed for 1 night as a quick stopover on a long journey and Beryl was very accommodating. Even though we booked with very short notice the space was immaculate so we could tell Beryl had very high standards. Everything was spotlessly clean and as described. We had a great nights sleep and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to use it due to our fleeting visit, the patio seating area was really nice and no doubt a great place to enjoy the countryside air. I would highly recommend Beryl’s place.

Had a lovely time staying at Marcus’s flat in central Buxton - super communicative and helpful and the flat was cosy, clean and very modern. Would v much recommend for any couples looking to explore the Peak District for a weekend

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very spacious. It has everything you need. We had a toddler and a baby and there was plenty of space for a travel cot in either bedroom. The location is perfect, a short walk to the centre of town but the property itself and particularly the garden feels very tranquil. Gareth and Charlotte were very responsive to messages and we saw them a few times during our stay when coming and going but not at all intrusive. Overall it was a great stay and we would absolutely stay again next time we come to Buxton. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is both a great location for walking in to a Buxton and also ideal for driving to places like Mam Tor and Kinder Scout. Apartment was very homely, the hosts provided basics like milk & biscuits (much appreciated). We were left to our own devices but the hosts were on hand to help with anything we needed. We had a lovely stay - very central for great restaurants and Opera House. Flat was spotlessly clean but also homely and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent and very clean accommodation. Easy to walk to the centre of town in 20 mins. The kitchen was very well equipped. This is an excellent accommodation and many thanks to Ashleigh for making us welcome.
