Lovely place just as described. Had a great, quiet and peaceful stay. Interesting drive in on the dirt road in mid-March and the driveway is quite steep but all worth the efforts once you get there.

Ashley’s place was so peaceful and just how we wanted to spend a few days over March break. The kids and us really loved the hot tub overlooking the lake and sitting under the stars in it was ultimate relaxation. Everything you need for your kitchen is there which was super handy. The place was pristine upon arrival and the furnishings were comfy and homey. The reclining leather sofa was the best spot to watch some Netflix. We definitely would love to come back in the summer!! My partner and I loved staying here for the Easter weekend. It had stunning views and we liked the size of the place because it made it more cozy and intimate. The town is very lovely as well! Only feedback is the TV is high up so sitting on the couch to watch TV really hurt the neck but everything else was fantastic ! The hot tub was the perfect temperature which usually I find hot tubs far too hot. We loved listening to the ocean when going to sleep as well and both the bed upstairs and downstairs were comfortable. Highly recommend this place :)

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring beautiful NS. The home is next to the road but it was pretty quiet overall. We may suggest blackout curtains on the windows behind the bed so that the light is blocked from incoming cars. We would highly recommend this cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was peaceful, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was stunning, and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax. It was a great spot for a quiet, comfortable getaway. Would definitely book again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and peaceful..exactly what we needed to break up our East Coast camping adventure. It was the perfect place to enjoy a hot shower, relax in the hot tub, and get a great night’s sleep in a cozy bed. Although it was technically a shared space, it never felt that way..the hosts truly made us feel at home, giving us full access to the kitchen and other spaces. They were warm, welcoming, and offered great suggestions for places to explore along our travels. They even left treats for us and our dogs, which was such a thoughtful gesture. If you stay here, make sure to catch the sunrise from the front porch! It’s absolutely beautiful.! We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place to rest!

Beautiful cottage, exactly as described. We stayed with our extended family so having the two cottages was a bonus for us. Access to the lake, fire pit and bbq all added to our trip! Lara had great communication and promptly answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Christian's place was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was private, peaceful and had everything you need including condiments/spices and a fully equipped kitchen. The space was perfect for 4 of us as it was spacious and had a functional layout. Christian and his co-host were very responsive and laid back. Felt like we were staying at the family cottage; no worries and felt right at home. Thank you!

This place had me as soon as I walked in. Loved the decor and cosy feel. Very calming with all the windows especially looking out over the lake. Cannot brag this spot up enough. Just loved everything about it. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and were very quick to respond if I had a question. Truly wonderful spot.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time! We took the kayaks out on the lake for a nice Fall paddle. The property was beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. Shayma was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was homey, comfortable, clean and had everything you would need. Area was quiet with privacy, a large deck, beautiful yard with hammock, loungers and a chair swing by the water. Playground is well maintained and safe. The lake was the highlight of our stay! There is a small beach area to wade into the water or you can jump right off the dock. The water is calm, warm and very clean. We spent all day swimming, out on the paddle boat or canoes. If you go into the cove in the boats you can find painted turtles and frogs. There were no mosquitoes as we were outside all day and night by the fire pit. On rain days the screened in porch was great for meals and games of cards. The cabin had a bunch of boardgames and movies we could enjoy. Denis is very welcoming, a great host and respectful of your stay. We had a really wonderful time.

Where to start!! Myself, husband, 9 year old son and Golden doodle stayed at Jodi’s home for 2 nights this past weekend. The home is incredible cozy, warm, inviting, as well as incredibly thoughtful. There is everything you need and more. Very pet friendly, lol there were 2 dog beds, toys and more. The fire pit is wonderful and well and the amazing dock on the prestige lake front. Very private. The screened in room is so wonderful, with the lovey table and lights! Fishing is great as well. The inside bedding and layout is perfect as well. Incredibly comfortable and clean! The kitchen,bathroom,and bedrooms and well equipped with anything needed. We hope to speak a full week next summer there with our family! Last but not least…..communication was amazing! We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage! It was exactly how it was described, and the lake/view was breathtaking! We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and we were all sad to be leaving on our last day. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed, including everything for outside (firewood, boats, beach towels, etc.). Jill was great to deal with - provided great instructions, information about the area, and responsive! Overall, great experience!

Gorgeous views! Sparkling clean. Easy to find! The host was also easy to communicate with. I would definitely return.

Thank you Sarah and Peter for sharing your place and space in the woods with us. We felt right at home in the cabin, which is warm and welcoming, comfortable, cozy and with silence all around us. We hope to be back in the near future.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

Great little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Quick 10 min drive to downtown for shops, restaurants, and more.

Lovely place only small thing i could comment on is the fire wood which wouldnt burn. As an avid camper i brought my own kindling but couldnt make a fire with what was there. The picture shows a stack of wood under the deck which wasnt there . Not an issue really as it was very hot anyway.

We enjoyed our stay. We arrived late in the evening so we missed the sauna open hours, but were pleased with the beautiful room/cabin. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spotless and we slept well. We were able to enjoy the sauna in the morning which was a great start to the day. The grounds were well cared for and Black Forest Cabins is a perfect name for the place. We spoke to the caretaker in the morning and she was welcoming and guided us to a nearby coffee shop. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely return.

We stayed at the cottage for one night. The location and the waterfront view is really great. Recommend spending more than a night to actually enjoy the surroundings. The fridge and hot plate came in very handy. The kitchen has adequate supplies for a cottage(except paper towels :) )Henry is very responsive to the questions and concerns. The place(bathroom) was a little dirty upon our arrival. The AC took its time to heat up the cottage, especially the bedrooms. But other than that it was an over all a good experience.

My kids and I had an amazing stay! Great place and area to get away from the fast city life and unplug for a few days!
