Paige's property was absolutely wonderful! It's tucked away and surrounded by peaceful ans beautiful views, the neighbors are courteous and considerate, and the area's shops and locations are well within reasonable distances. The attention to detail in this home was amazing, especially for anyone who brings their fur babies with them. We can't thank Paige enough for allowing us to share her space, she was very responsive and shared plenty of local recommendations! We would love to stay here again, at the very least come back to the Murphy area, the people here are very helpful, welcoming, and friendly!

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the home. Our trip was cut short due to anticipated weather to travel 11-12 hrs home. Would love to come back and enjoy the porches during different seasons. During our stay it was cold and rainy. Place was as described- clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Rodney was very responsive and understanding when it came to checking out earlier than planned. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful with every amenity you could possibly need. Dan was responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was conveniently situated between Murphy and Hayesville. From porch sitting to movie nights in the theater room, we had a great time! Read the description well! Driveway is very steep and you have to park at the bottom in the gravel area!! We were able to pull up the drive to load and unload but the incline was not well liked by our car! We had hoped to be able to spend some time in the water but didn’t have enough time and there didn’t seem to be an easy way in. Finally, if relaxation and peace is what you are looking for…BOOK NOW!! Just don’t take our week that we are already planning to return.

My family and I (8 total) spent a week at the Great Lake rental and loved everything about it. The home is beautiful and spacious and very well equipped. The hosts were very responsive and the local recommendations of hiking, waterfalls and restaurants were spot on. We all had a wonderful week and look forward to a return trip in the future. Highly recommend this rental.

Our family Thanksgiving vacation was enhanced by this attractive, spotlessly clean, convenient location on the banks of Lake Hiwassee. The outdoor fire pit was a real plus to our son and grandson as was the lovely living area where we sat after our Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This was honestly our best airbnb stay to date! The villa is beautiful and view is unmatched. We loved the pool and the fantastic kitchen.

Well appointed house with ample activities and a great gameroom downstairs. Is a bit remote from Murphy- so plan on a 30 minute drive for groceries or restaurants, but that's somewhat expected to be expected in a cabin. Host is clearly making additional improvements to house so it will likely only get better. Pros: Good layout, great outdoor areas/porches, nice hot tub(s) - yes plural (standard and bath), pellet smoker nice bonus. great game room. Very responsive host. Internet was solid, impressive speed considering the environment (speed was around 250Mbps down/50Mbps up on first test - allowed our adult son to conduct business- and he moves VERY large files). Cons: 30 minute drive from Murphy (minor inconvenience- the idea is to be away, but worth noting).

My family and I spent the week of Thanksgiving here and had an absolutely great time. The house is well suited to handle many people and the host was fantastic! It is so close to many small and quaint towns both in NC and GA. I would recommend this house to anyone. I gave a 5-star rating for all, but really wish there was a 6th-star. This place is a gem!!!

Brian and Sarena’s was perfect! A lot of room and activities in the house to do. House was super clean and Brian was super responsive as well. I highly recommend their place.

It was extremely cozy for my family. We all had plenty of space for dining, sitting and sleeping. The view is amazing as well as the sunsets. We stayed during Christmas and they decorated with a tree and throughout the cabin. We would definitely stay again!

This is my second time at Paradise Cottage while attending JCC Folk school very close by. The surroundings are beautiful! Hiawassee River is stunning and right outside the front door. I was there during an unseasonably cold time and needed some assistance with working the fireplace and getting things heated up appropriately. Michele was very responsive and helped me get things comfortable right away. She also brought me a space heater for a little extra warmth if needed. She's a gret host and I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful private place to stay.

We have already booked for another weekend. This place has the best spot on a stream and so private. Its definitely a do over !

What a great stay! We had such a great time and the cabin is perfectly located in a beautiful quiet area. I’m almost reluctantly to share this with everyone because I would like to book a stay here again in the fall.

Perfect and quiet location. Cabin was extremely cozy and full of great amenities. We had a wonderful time watching movies on the Roku and had a peaceful sleep. Very close to River Walk for trout and small mouth bass!!!

Nancy was wonderful to work with throughout the stay. She was friendly and inviting and always available to answer any questions or offer help. She and Scott stay busy taking care of the property, goats, chickens, and other guests, but they always have time to talk and offer advice, such as local restaurants and activities. I would absolutely stay with Nancy again, and hope to get the chance! She makes the guest feel like a friend.

We had a wonderful time , wonderful area would love to visit again !! Beds very comfortable !!
