My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Sarah was very friendly and accommodating. The place was great and will definitely stay here again in the future under better circumstances. An ice storm came through and we had to go back home.

We had a wonderful stay on Labor Day weekend. Bonfires, wildlife and great weather. The home is beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 8 adults and two little ones. Our first visit to Indian River and it is a wonderful little town. Would highly recommended this property!

Location! Location! Location! Sitting by the lake for sunrises and sunsets was amazing. The home was charming and we had a marvelous time.

It was our first trip to the area and so glad we stayed here—we enjoyed the view of the lake from the property , catching the sunset by the water’s edge, and exploring the area. We look forward to returning.

Quick trip up north for a family party and stayed at The Stations Masters Quarters in Wolverine, Mi. This is a great place to stay for an Up North experience. Host were on point with everything from leaving welcoming basket for our family and being attentive to anything needed during our stay; power went out due to weather while we were gone for the afternoon though would have never known it as the host were quick to have a generator in operation. Centrally located in north Michigan along a rail trail and river. Beautiful historic place in a beautiful location.

5 star out of 5 is not even close!!!! 10 out of 5 would be more accurate. You will not find a cleaner, more well- planned/ use of space, and friendlier hosts. Joanne and Tim went so far above and beyond with so many thoughtful, personal touches. From the fresh baked bread, custom selected wine, painted rock, and hand written thank you card, and it does not stop there. Plain and simple, if you are reading this review, book it now before it's too late, because I will never stay anywhere else if I am in the area. To all other airbnb hosts, these two have set the bar. Good luck even coming close.

George was quick to respond and helpful with a last minute booking. Space is centrally located to restaurants and activities.

Great place, great location! This place was perfect for our stay with our dog. The space was clean and cozy! The back yard views are stunning. Very relaxing to hear the lake with the windows open. Ron was very welcoming and his place is wonderful, would definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lem's Paradise! The place was exactly what we needed for the five of us. Deb even brought us home-baked cookies when we arrived! Such great hospitality and we enjoyed meeting them. Their property is beautiful and well maintained, plus it was so peaceful and scenic! Note: Be sure to bring bug spray to help ward off the biting flies down along the shore of the lake!

I love this cabin. The cabin is clean and comfortable. It is stocked with anything you would need for a comfortable stay. I come back here every year because it is so beautiful, peaceful, and cozy.

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

A place we will never forget. Quiet and exactly as advertised. Lovely lake with swans and ducks swimming AROUND everyday. We will certainly return if we can and recommend to our friends and family. We have stayed in several cottages and this one was the best ever. WE WERE SO BLESSED TO HAVE HAD THIS VACATION.

Eric's place is exactly what an "up north" cottage should be. Cozy, rustic, comfortable, and in the middle of beautiful surroundings. We loved it! It was exactly as described and provided everything we needed. Eric was a great host, too. I mentioned that my husband and I were taking a weekend up north as a way to celebrate my birthday, and he ACTUALLY REMEMBERED! I walked in to find a birthday card and a token gift on the table. He also gave great instructions and local info, and stayed dialed in the entire weekend. As for the area, we drove to Harbor Springs and explored the Tunnel of Trees. We also biked the Little Traverse Wheelway from Harbor Springs to Petosky. And we checked out the fantastic bike trail right near Eric's place, which takes you to Aloha State Park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our time. Kids and wife and I did this for a quiet spring break and it was awesome.

The Hoot House was wonderful. What a great place to get away from it all and just chill! It was clean and well furnished with comfortable beds . Obviously, lots of thought went into the decor. There were even games for the kiddos and puzzles. The new hot tub wasn’t ready for use yet but I hope to come back when it is. The Thirsty Sturgeon was a great place for dinner. The owner put in a large parking area for trailers in case you wanted to take advantage of the many atv trails in the area or bring kayaks to float the Sturgeon River. This place would be great for a snow mobile trip also. The maps with all the different trails was a nice touch and very helpful. Highly recommend.
