Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. La maison est très confortable et très bien équipée. Le trampoline, les jeux, livres et BD ont ravi notre fille. Malgré un temps moyen, nous avons pu profiter du jardin, du jacuzzi et du hammam. La maison est aussi située à deux pas du cœur vivant de Saint-Pair sur Mer avec tous ses commerces et trois pas de la mer. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette chouette maison. Merci à Chantal pour son accueil !

Super Accueil. Céline et Raphaël sont géniaux et aux petits soins et de bon conseil. L'hébergement est situé à mi chemin entre le Mont St Michel et Saint Malo. Le lieu est décoré avec très bon goût. Le domaine est vraiment TOP et magnifique. Si vous souhaitez emmener votre moitié dans un coin calme, charmant et respirant la sérénité, allez y les yeux fermés. Le jacuzzi est super après une journée de longue marche. Je recommande à 1000%.

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

Nous étions en vacances pour une semaine en famille/ami. Le logement était idéalement situé pour nos visites. Vincent avait envoyé des idées de visites que nous avons pu planifier. Vincent est réactif et à disposition pour les moindres questions. le gîte est un cocon calme nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Logement d'Hannah est top, super joli avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon moment ! Le mont Saint Michel n'est qu'à 1h de route donc idéal. Hannah est très réactive et flexible ce qui est très agréable ! Allez-y les yeux fermés

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Anna! La maison est parfaite: très joliement décorée, et disposant de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour parfait. Les petites attentions (produits de première nécessité dans le frigo, serviettes de plage) vous font vous sentir comme un ami qu'on est heureux d'accueillir. La localisation est parfaite pour tout visiter sur Jersey. La communication avec Anna a été fluide et amicale. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage, it was a stones throw from a beach and a short walking distance from a larger beach along the costal path and the causeway to Burgh island. Zoe & Charlie were super welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be booking to stay again.

In one word, heavenly. A Family or small group trip to explore anywhere around Devon, this is definitely a place for you —at a good bargain as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Modern house with state of the art facilities, wash rooms were great, large island kitchen with a befitting diner stood out for us. All beds and beddings were so so comfortable. Simply felt like home. Hosts Robert and Jane were great with communication so we didn’t need to call the host at any point as everything was as described. They also recommended places around, some of which were 100% for us. We would recommend a trip to Salcombe obviously as it’s a 20+ mins drive, explore the beautiful town, trip to north & south sands via the ferry and enjoy the lovely oceanic view. Highly recommend a visit to Crab Shell inn in Kingsbridge, don’t miss a trip to Torquay Marina, about 40mins drive from Goveton. Need to add that the roads to the village are narrow but in all, great experience!

Petit séjour parfait ! Notre hôte Damien est très sympathique, réactif et attentionné. Le gîte est superbe décoré avec beaucoup de goût un petit feu à notre arrivée 🥰, il y a vraiment tous ce qu'il faut dans le gîte. Environnement est très jolie avec un très beau paysage, des animaux à proximité... Bref, un bon weekend en Normandie. Au plaisir d'y retourner. Merci beaucoup 😃

Het huisje is heel gezellig ingericht en bijzonder volledig en goed uitgerust. Ook de buitenterrassen lijken heel fijn in de zomer. William geeft snelle en duidelijke antwoorden. In het kort, bijzonder knus en comfortabel, geriefelijk huisje! Een aanrader!

Hall House was a lovely base for us with lots of beautiful walks nearby. We enjoyed the space to spread out in the house and the wonderful garden.

Lovely cottage. I think steep & narrow lane up needs to be in description. My Mazda Bongo was fine, so most vehicles should be. parking was easy. Quooker tap did not work but it didn't bother us, so I didn't contact Laura. Boiled kettle for hot water in sink if needed. Comfortable beds. Despite a pub nearby, we heard nothing. A few bangs from next door when doors slammed, but other than that it was lovely & peaceful. Instructions for oven etc were in basket drawer under TV. Didn't find them until 2nd day but I'd worked out how to use everything by then. We would definitely stay again if we needed somewhere close to Plympton. Laura answered queries VERY quickly.

Right from the get go Kelly was friendly and extremely helpful .. she changed the check in and out times , which were so helpful for us with our 2 year old grandson .. Artie loved the toys that were under the stairs it was all of these wonderful extras that made it homely .. about a 2 minute walk to the beach which was perfect as we were up and down a lot ! Lovely walks nearby and pub recommendations from Kelly .. we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend Kelly and her home

This place was a wonderful location within easy walking distance of the supermarket and frequent bus service. It was a modern and uncluttered space within a small quiet holiday home complex and the hosts were both super helpful. We were on a walking holiday and the venue was perfect. It was also only a couple of miles walk to lovely beaches for the fitter visitors (lots of steps down to the beach). We would certainly book it again.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le logement et la résidence en elle-même. En effet il y a tout ce qu'il faut à proximité immédiate, ballade en bord de mer à pieds, supérettes et commerces également. Pour les enfants la piscine couverte et l'aire de jeux permettent d'en profiter pleinement. Le logement enfin est très qualitatif les équipements, l'espace extérieur, tout le ne cessaire est réuni pour se sentir comme chez soi. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Absolutely loved our stay at Hope Cottage! The cottage itself is cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with every little detail taken care of. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is fantastic, nestled in the peaceful Normandy countryside yet close enough to visit local attractions easily. The host was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even shared local tips that made our experience even more special. The freshness of the surrounding was so beautiful. We do recommend that you must be traveling by car as it is in a private area.

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Hunden und einem befreundeten Paar in der Unterkunft von Sarah. Die Ausstattung ist super, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Wir haben sicherheitshalber ein paar Sachen mitgenommen (z.B. einen Korkenzieher), da wir in diversen Airbnbs diesbezüglich enttäuscht wurden. Aber nicht hier! Alles da, sogar noch Kapseln für die Nespressomaschine - also sind wir angekommen und konnten direkt einen Kaffee genießen! Die Bäder waren super sauber, alles modern. Duscharmatur sogar besser als Zuhause. Der Garten ist riesig und schön eingezäunt, so konnten wir die Hunde bedenkenlos flitzen lassen. Wir hatten dort absolut unsere Ruhe, ab und an haben wir die Nachbarn von nebenan gesehen, diese waren total freundlich zu uns :-) Also alles in allem können wir diese Unterkunft bedenkenlos empfehlen! Man braucht lediglich ein Auto, da die Restaurants etc in den benachbarten Ortschaften sonst schwierig zu erreichen sind. Eben sehr ländlich :-) Danke Sarah !

Two of us have just returned from a six night stay at Garden Cottage. There was a welcome tray when we arrived which was welcome. The house and garden were peaceful and the gardens were beautiful even in March. You can walk down to North Beach in about 15 minutes and have a lovely cream tea in the Winking Pawn restaurant. You can walk down to Salcombe but it is a steep walk back uphill. Victoria answered our queries straight away. The cottage is a home from home, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot water in the shower. There are lots of National Trust houses to visit within drivable distance. Overbeck’s Garden is one you should not miss. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
